Mountain Villas large 1 BR (851 sqft) is available in San Diego County. It offers a spacious attractive one bed/one bath floor plan. It features a fully furnished kitchen with granite counter tops. The living space has stone floors, exposed beams large wall-mounted LCD TV screens, Bose® Wave system, DVD, fireplace, wireless internet and custom comforters.

The Mountain Villas are nestled up in the hill side and the views are spectacular. They overlook the mountains and golf course that meanders through the Welk Resort. Guests are also within walking proximity to the Mountain Springs Pool that includes a splash zone and slide for the kids and a recreation center with tons of activities for the family. The pool also has private cabanas available for rent if you desire.The property has 8 pools in total, some for adults and most for families. Some even have big slides that my kids love. There are two golf courses (one longer one par 3) and also there's soccer golf. Additionally there are free golf clinics for kids on Sunday mornings.

The Welk resort is centrally located between San Diego, the beach communities and Temecula wine country and the San Diego mountains. There are so many world class attractions nearby including the San Diego Zoo and Safari Park, Lego Land and some of the finest beaches in Southern California. Activities span from outdoor hiking and fishing, great cycling and mountain biking. There are wonderful restaurants to choose from and San Diego is famous for it's world class craft brews including the nearby Stone Brewery. The Welk Resort has it's very own theater too for you to enjoy live plays passing on the legacy of Lawrence Welk himself!
