From the beginning of the 19th century, "Massabiou" is located in the heart of Robion, an authentic village at the foot of the Luberon. With its large garden with trees and flowers, you can enjoy a good sunbath on the sun loungers or have a drink in the shade of the large trees.
Close to Gordes and Oppède, at the foot of the mountain and the hiking trails, you will have access to many surrounding sites. Massabiou is an ideal home for visiting Provence. It can accommodate 8 people in 4 bedrooms.

The house, with careful decoration, is perfect for a large family. You will find :
- 4 independent bedrooms,
- 2 double beds and 4 single beds,
- 2 bathrooms with toilet, bath or shower,
- the kitchen to facilitate your stay,

Feel like you belong in the region

Staying in this home, built in the 18th century, made us feel that we were truly experiencing the region. The location is excellent for visiting many beautiful places. The grounds are also beautiful. One caution for any larger group is that there are two bathrooms but only one toilet.

Suited Us Perfectly

We could not possibly have found lodgings to suit our travel and stay more perfectly. The gite Massabiou provided us with a quiet haven when it was needed, in a typical Provençal village, but with fewer other tourists (in September) to interfere with our enjoyment. The host and property manager were extremely congenial. Twice we were gifted with delicious bread. The kitchen facilities, cooking tools and dinnerware were exceptional; we prepared several very good meals without trouble, even using up some vegetables and other commodities left by a previous guest. Outdoors, we loved the beautiful new swimming pool, fish pond/fountain, gardens, herbs, and furnishings for lounging and dining. Of special note, are the eclectic works of art throughout the house and many good books in the living room. Hope to return….

Für zwei Paare war das Haus ideal mit zwei Bädern und ausreichend Privacy auf zwei Stockwerken. Das Haus ist alt, was einerseits seinen Charme ausmacht, man es andererseits aber auch überall merkt. Der Garten ist groß und verwunschen, könnte aber besser gepflegt sein. Neue Liegestühle wären eine feine Sache. Das Schwimmbad ist toll und wird gut gepflegt. Bei Problemen war der Eigentümer direkt zur Stelle, was natürlich sehr angenehm war. Robion ist der ideale Ausgangspunkt, um den Luberon zu erkunden.

Tolles Haus und wunderschöner Garten im Luberon!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und uns ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt. Robion ist ein ruhiges Örtchen, in dem man aber alles bekommt, was man benötigt. Es gibt sogar einen kleinen Bio-Supermarkt in der Nähe den man zu Fuß erreichen kann. Wir wurden von Daniel und Marie Jo sehr herzlich begrüßt. Und freuen uns jetzt schon darauf bald wiederzukommen!

Unser Traumhaus

Dieses Haus mit seinem riesigen Garten ist ein Traum. Das Haus ist alt, authentisch, sehr gepflegt, antik-edel und mit wunderbaren Details sehr geschickt in Szene gesetzt. Die ideale Kulisse für einen romantischen Spielfilm aus dem Luberon. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir sehr nett von den Nachbarn empfangen und die Übernahme des Hauses war völlig problemlos. Die Ausstattung ist vollständig, alles funktioniert und ist in gutem Zustand. Die Küchenausstattung ist wunderbar, wir haben noch nie so viel und so gerne in einer Ferienwohnung gekocht wie hier. Der Garten ist riesig und hat viele schattige Plätze, an denen es sich prima relaxen lässt. Mit dem Fahrrad ist man schnell beim Bäcker, beim Metzger, im kleinen Supermarkt oder beim Gemüsehändler. Robion liegt am Rande der ausgetretenen Touristenpfade und ist daher recht authentisch. Beispielhaft dafür ist das Café de la Poste in der Ortsmitte, zwei Minuten zu Fuß vom Ferienhaus entfernt. Hingehen, sich unterhalten, ein kühles Bier trinken: Frankreich pur! Wir vermissen die entspannten Stunden in den Hängematten, das Herumtollen mit dem Nachbarhund, die lauen Abende im Garten mit leckerem Chèvre und Wein und freuen uns schon auf ein Wiedersehen im nächsten Jahr!

Einfach, ländlich und naturnah

Charmantes, etwas in die Jahre gekommenens Urlaubsdomizil. Lässt in Punkto Ausstattung keine Wünsche offen. Beste Lage im Ort - nah am Cafe, Bäcker und Bio-Laden. Küche und Eßbereich mit großer Vielzahl an Geräten, Besteck und z.T. auch gutem Porzellan. Einrichtung nicht typisch Ferienhaus, sondern höherwertig, wenn auch zum Teil etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Riesiger Garten mit vielen Pflanzen und vielen Sitzgelegenheiten. Nette und unkomplizierte Betreuung vor Ort, man hat das Gefühl, gut aufgehoben zu sein. In unserem Fall hatten wir den Eindruck, dass der Garten vor unserer Ankunft etwas mehr Pflege gebraucht hätte, genau wie der Vorratsraum und die Töpfe in der Küche. Wir Würden wieder hinfahren.

We were there with our two kids and parents-in-law and all of us had a fantastic time! The farmhouse is exactly as shown on the pictures and well equipped; the garden is very spacious and romantic. We can recommend it very much and would love to come back one day!

Nous avons passe un agreable sejour dans cette maison spacieuse, bien equippee, a proximite de belles ballades et visite. La maison et son jardin ont une vraie ame, ce qui est rare dans la plupart des locations de vacances. Em revanche, nous regrettons la maniere dont le sejour s'est termine: le proprietaire ayant pris notre cheque de caution en otage pendant plusieurs mois (il ne repondait plus a nos mails/appels). Lorsque nous avons finalement reussi a le joindre, il nous reprocha une fuite dans sa piscine gonflable, et un verre casse, et cela, des semaines apres l'etat des lieux... Nous ne reviendrons donc plus. Dommage!

Un paradis sur terre

C'étaient des vacances de rêve : une maison familiale très chaleureuse, parfaitement équipée et un jardin qui surprend par sa taille, sa verdure et tous ses petits coins où l'on peut s'isoler pour lire, dormir ou rêver les yeux ouverts. On a du mal à partir pour les visites incontournables du Lubéron. Idéale pour enfants et adultes! Le ++ : des commerces de qualité à proximité (très bonne boucherie et boulangerie, primeur, fromager ambulant, ...). Nous avons hâte d'y retourner. Merci aux propriétaires et aux personnes qui nous ont accueillis!

Une maison de rêve !

Une superbe semaine de vacances dans une maison remplie de charme, avec un magnifique jardin. Nous étions 4 adultes et 4 enfants (chaque famille avait son étage), et on a vraiment passé une semaine très agréable à Robion, avec l'impression d'être au milieu de la campagne alors qu'on est au coeur du vieux village (bar restaurant de la place à 50m, très bonne boulangerie à 5 min avec les vélos de la maison). On a eu du mal à s'extraire pour aller visiter les alentours, très beaux (marché paysan à Coustellet juste à côté, villages du Lubéron, l'Isle sur la Sorgue, le colorado provençal, très belle balade de 3h au départ de la maison...). Ca donne vraiment envie de revenir ! Un grand merci aux propriétaires pour leur accueil très chaleureux, et à leur voisine avec qui il a été également très agréable de discuter, et qui s'est occupée de nous le jour du départ.

superbe séjour à Massabiou

Nous avons passé 15 jours magnifiques dans cette superbe maison qui a gardé toute son authenticité. Nous étions 2 familles avec trois enfants dont un nourrisson et nous avions chacun notre espace, notre étage. La maison est très bien équipée, il y a même des ventilateurs dans toutes les pièces bien que la maison garde très bien la fraicheur. Le jardin est aussi très agréable grâce à ses nombreux hamacs, Adirondack... les enfants ont adoré le bassin à poissons et la piscine pour se rafraichir. Robion est idéalement situé et c'est un petit village très agréable avec son café à quelques pas et le jardin pour enfant est à côté de la maison.

Juste envie d'y retourner

Nous sommes retournés à Massabiou en juillet 2013 pour un troisième séjour. C'est dire combien l'endroit plaît à toute la famille. La maison a une âme, son jardin, magnifiquement isolé, avec le Luberon en toile de fond est un petit paradis. Toutes les courses ( boucherie, fruiterie, boulangerie, etc...) peuvent se faire à pied. Le village de Robion, de par sa situation, est un endroit idéal pour rayonner en Provence. Bref une maison des plus agréable, dans un charmant village, où nous espérons povoir retourner bientôt pour des vacances en famille ou entre amis.

A Sense of Home

In a month long European escape this was my favourite experience. A spacious back garden for the children and visiting friends to play in. Spare bedrooms for guests. Access to whatever was of interest in Provence and beyond. A short walk to the local café and bars. Walking trails in the Luberon that provided a sense of isolation yet with views across the whole region. The property is alive with the sense of a home well loved and lived in for decades. We were also especially grateful for the generous support provided by the property managers.
