Best kept secret in the area
I can’t say enough about this cabin. The pictures don’t do it justice. Very clean and well kept with the best beach on the lake. My children had hours of fun building sand castles and catching fish from the dock. Tons of amenities the owner will graciously share with you. We will be back for sure!
Cozy cabin on the lake
The cabin is owned by a hunting guide. He has many trophies throughout. We really enjoyed being able to see the bears up close. It was sort of like a museum. The cabin and owner are dog friendly which was the best aspect for me. Expect to do with out a few amenities, but the cozy atmosphere makes up for it. The location is great and only minutes from dining and shopping.
Beautiful Setting for Relaxation
Lovely home in a quiet neighborhood - perfect for relaxing! Neighbors were friendly and our host Roger was great to work with! 4 kayaks at our disposal, plenty of wood for a fire in the fire pit on the beach. A great time was had by all.
Great place to relax!
The lake house had a nice home-like feel. The views are great. Plenty of sleeping areas for all of us. Closet space is a little sparse. Everything else pertaining to the house was just fine.
Too bad it was 5º when we were there, we would have enjoyed sitting outside on the patio furniture or using the kayak's! We did get in some ice fishing. The grandkids had a blast doing that.
We will stay here again next time we plan a trip to the Lapeer area.
