Great opportunity for some much needed R&R with the privacy of this home. The pool with in-pool sun deck is ready for your enjoyment.
There is no shortage of “Beach House” feel in this charming Venice home. From the moment you step in the front door you will think you are at a beach house. The owners have taken great interest (and obvious enjoyment) in decorating this home with their creative talent. This is a newer home built with an open-concept approach and has vaulted ceilings for added brightness and spacious feel. The furnishings and every ounce of unique décor are perfectly coordinated against the backdrop of the soothing pastel wall colors. You will have no choice but to relax here.
I would wonder if the owners enthusiasm for decorating was inspired by the proximity of this home to several beaches. You can use the kayaks located at this home to explore the mangroves and sea life. The kayaks are each equipped with a wheeled cart for easy transport from SUV or truck to a launch. Keep your eyes open for manatee and dolphins. It would not be rare to see them. In shallow water you may even find inhabited Conch shells.
Whether you spent a pleasant day at the beach lounging and shelling, or maybe you found adventure with the bicycles or kayaks, you will find peace and tranquility upon your arrival back home. The home has two inviting bedrooms with the master having its own on-suite bathroom featuring a soaking tub. There is plenty of room to spread out with your choice of family room (featuring queen-size sleeper sofa) or living room to relax and put your feet up. The kitchen overlooks the living room for continued interaction and conversation during meal preparation. Enjoy a peaceful dinner on the lanai overlooking the undeveloped green space behind the home; a residence for native birds and gopher tortoise.
This warm and inviting home welcomes you and your family. Bring Spot or Rover too. Yes, well behaved dogs are welcome for an additional pet fee/per pet. The backyard is completely fenced by a privacy fence to the west and the remaining perimeter is enclosed by a decorative fence to allow unobstructed view of green foliage. There is no indication that dogs are allowed as this home is meticulously maintained.

The location of this home is in a coastal community with the opportunity to visit several beaches in Venice, to the north in Sarasota, or to the south in Englewood.

Pool Heat is optional and available for an additional $110/week plus tax. Please inquire before or after reservation is made if you would like pool heat added to your reservation.

Convenient Location to Beaches

We had a great visit. The house was very nice, the pool was great and the back yard was good for the dogs. The house is located to several beaches, attractions and ding venues. We would stay here again if visiting Venice another time.

Absolutely loved our week long stay in this cozy little beach house! The pool was a great bonus. It was great to cool off in after a long day of hiking. Super close to Manasota Key Beach and we loved that they had a ton of sand sifters to use to find sharks teeth. Neighbors were super friendly as well. Will definitely book again when we come back!

This was the best rental we have ever had in Venice ! The pictures do not do justice , the home is great and nothing could be better . Nicely decorated , very clean and comfortable . The neighborhood is quiet and close to everything . Plenty of toys for the beach and a great pool area . Communication with the host was smooth and check in was easy . You would be hard pressed to find a better rental .

Awesome little house

Great stay!! Everything we needed right there, grandson loved the pool! I thought it was really nice it had a safety fence around pool so he could sit outside in evening and we could latch gate and not worry with outdoor table being right out back door ! Close to stores and restaurants, the owner was great at responding to questions, definitely would book here again !!

Lovely beach house

We stayed a little over a week at this beach house. It was clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. The neighbors were quiet and the location is convenient to several public beaches. (Short drive required). Manasota Beach was our favorite. We found lots of shark teeth.

A Nice Experience

The host went above and beyond with so much information about the area for us. She set up a binder and it had restaurants, sites, information about the house and everything you could imagine. She was also very professional and responded very quickly when I had questions. The pool was amazing and I would stay at this location again if I was in the area.

Wonderful House

We loved our stay at this property. It was one of the cleanest vacation houses we have stayed at. Perfect for our family of 3. We enjoyed having the pool on the days we didn't feel like going to the beach. The private beach is beautiful. Definitely check to make sure the bacteria levels are safe before you go. Some locals warned us after seeing us in the water. I was surprised at how well stocked the house is with toiletries, kitchen items etc. Would definitely come back!

Nice beachy house

We often vacay at properties in South Venice and know this nice neighborgood well. This property was well maintained - and the decor is 100% "vacation at the beach". Nice enclosed pool and fenced in yard for our small pup ... and extras like bar-b-q, bikes and kayaks. Our vacay was right after the hurricane, so many streets in south venice were a mess - destroyed vegetation, fences and household items piled on the curb waiting for pickup, Our street was cleared the day before we left of course. Nice vacay overall.

Perfect relaxation getaway!

We love this property! It was our 2nd time staying here & it hasn’t disappointed yet. It is spacious, clean & quiet. Easy to find with enough parking for a truck & boat trailer and close enough to local boat ramps . So whether you want a peaceful day by the pool, day on the water (if you’re boat people like us) or local beach, you have it here. It is so close to everything you could possibly need, all major stores & beaches are less than 10 minutes in all directions. The neighborhood is quiet. The manager Angie is easy to reach, communicating everything we needed to know & alerting us ahead of time for 1 minor thing to look out for that couldn’t be fixed prior to our stay. We look forward to staying here year after year for our anniversary trips!

Amazing Stay, Sad to leave

House was very clean and had everything we needed! We brought 2 kayaks and used the 2 in garage. Launched them at the neighborhood launch and at Higel Park in Venice by the Jetty’s. So conveniently located to Manasota Beach and Brohard (dog beach). Our poodle was with us and she loved the sunsets on beach with us.The pool was great! We paid to have heated and worth every penny. Used it everyday! The neighborhood is great, everyone friendly and walking dogs. Location being off Tamiami is perfect to shoot up to Siesta Key. Also, short distance to 75 so we could drive to Ft Myers to see friends. The management team is amazing! We text Angie on a busy Saturday morning as we left, to discuss her managing a future home for us. She called us back quickly and answered all our questions. Definitely will be referring people to stay here. We had the Best 2 weeks!

Pool was the highlight!

If you've never stayed in this area before the location is amazing! The neighborhood is a mix bag of local year round residents and snow birds. You have access to your own private beach for this neighborhood on the South Venice Ferry which runs every half an hour. It's our favorite way to enjoy the beach and search for sharks teeth without all the crowds. :) This property's pool is amazing too- I'd suggest you pay extra for it to be heated. It has a great sunning deck ideal for the littles to play on and goes up to 5ft deep. They have a safety fence that fences in the pool too- which as a mama gave me great peace of mind with 4 kids. The house was decorated cute and beach-y themed but was tired, rather dirty (as in needing a nice deep clean) and disappointing. I did mention these issue to the property manager so hopefully changes will be made for the next renter!

South Venice rental with ferry pass and kayaks

Just leaving fort Myers now. We had a great stay. The house is a great little house. We stayed with our four youngest and had a great time. We used the kayaks almost everyday. They were a lot of fun. We did find that if you position the wheels more towards center they pull much easier. The south Venice beach ferry was great. We went over several times. Do note however, the pass is good for 6 people only. That is what we had so all good. However, if you have anyone extra with you they are very strict on this. Also the beach cart, which is awesome( I think I'll get one when I get home to mn) is not allowed on the ferry. Also very strict on this. We used it when we went to north Venice beach. It was great. The house was very clean and had pretty much everything we needed. The little back porch was very enjoyable and we had family game and movie night every night. Nice quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. We also enjoyed the bikes. They are very tall and our youngest couldn't ride. We thought about renting an extra but never got around to it. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this rental. Thanks for sharing!

Absolutely wonderful. Wish we could have gotten it fir our entire stay. Had to leave to go up to St Augustine for the last month and was so disappointed. Wasn't suited to my physical needs at all. Would stay at this place again and again. Perfect set up for my needs.

Angie is awesome to work with :) The house is super cute & comfortable. Pool is great. Location is great. We went over Christmas week, and it was pretty busy, so we were told a couple of times by the guys who drive the ferry that they couldn't take us over to the private beach :( So just be aware if you go in high season to plan on the earliest ferry ride which is around 9:30am. Would definately stay again !!

Why they chose this property

We as homeowners, have vacationed annually on Florida's Gulf Coast for several years staying as far north as Tampa and south as far as Fort Myers. We found ourselves wanting to return to Venice time and time again. Venice has that "small town" feel yet with the conveniences of the grocery stores and department stores we have come to rely on. Historical downtown Venice offers quaint shops and restaurants and surrounds Centennial Park which hosts festivals, farmers markets, and "Music in the Park." Venice also has miles and miles of public beaches, beach-side parks with paved paths, and even a "dog beach."
The decision to purchase a home in Venice came easy. We knew this was our "forever" destination. Our search was short with discovery of this house. Upon entering we knew we were home. The home was bright and refreshing.

What makes this property unique

This home is also pet friendly. Although meticulously maintained so it is not evident. We have always had difficulty finding accommodations that would enable our dogs to travel with us. We found it a relief to own a home in our favorite vacation destination. It is a pleasure make it available for others traveling with there own four legged family members.
