MAKE SURE UPGRADES ARE MADE BEFORE YOU BOOK THIS PROPERTY!
This house has a million dollar view. But unfortunately that is where the enjoyment of our trip ended.
To begin with, the entire property is very run down.
Most screen sliding doors barely stay on their tracks (so it was hard to get outside and even experience that million dollar view!).
Neither grill worked (and the maintenance staff that came by and even admitted they were both garbage and needed to be replaced). The ability to cookout on a grill was one of the big reasons we booked this property and it was advertised as having a working BBQ.
When we first arrived, the property was not cleaned well (dirt on counters and other areas) - especially in COVID times i think its fair to expect cleaning protocols to be MORE advanced, not less.
There was also a cigarette butt in the pool when we arrived.
On the second day of our stay, one of the middle shelves in a kitchen cabinet was not fully secure, and when we were reloading dishes, it came crashing down, with dishes landing on and bruising one of our guests' foot as well as glass cutting her daughter. Neither severe, but not what you want on vacation. (For this, we called the management company the day it happened with no response, stopped by the office the next day, and finally on the third day after got a phone call addressing it).
We paid extra to have the pool heated, and even though reassured it was at 81 degrees, it was too cold for us to even enjoy - and I have rented many properties in colder locations and paid for a pool to be heated and never had any issues or had the pool be so cold.
The hot tub, while in working condition, had an entire exterior panel missing.
The gas fireplace in the living room did not work.
In many of the bedrooms the blinds do not go down (including one of the bathrooms where the neighbors can see right in - we had to tape up a plastic bag).
One of the bathrooms in the middle level, the water did not drain out of the shower.
Two of the beds were so uncomfortable, you almost cant sleep in them.
Finally, many of the pots and pans and other general dishes are not in good condition.
Given all of this, we left early, and asked for a partial refund. The management company called all of the above (including injuries to our friends) "normal wear and tear" and rebuffed our request. I found that unacceptable. So if you book this property, hopefully they have left Surf & Sound for a better management company, and I would insist they address all of these issues.

The area was beautiful. The house was in pretty good condition however the upstairs screen door was on the deck when we got there and hot tub walls were falling apart. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious and the distance from the house to the beach was perfect!

This property was very nice but there are a few things we wanted to address.
1. Not enough coffee pots for this size of group and the kitchen picture should be changed on the ad as it show’s 3 pots in the picture. We would have brought our own if we hadn’t seen that picture.
2. A few chairs at the pool are all black with mold, very unhealthy.
3. The pool deck drain is clogged and doesn’t drain the water when it rains.
4. The return air filters in the living room above the elevator and in the upstairs master bedroom are very filthy.
5. Need bath tub mats due to the showers being very slippery.
6. The door shelf in the main refrigerator is broken.
7. Knob missing on the left dryer.
Despite these issues we all had a wonderful time this week.
