Charming one bedroom apartment in Lagos, Algarve

This one bedroom ground floor apartment has two large sunny balconies and access to a communal pool and an indoor garage space. Front terrace with a dining area for 4 people and a sofa corner. Rear terrace with sofa corner, dining area for 4 people and brick barbecue. The apartment consists of a bedroom with a Super King double bed that can be divided into two single beds. Two bedside tables with lamps and built-in wardrobe with safety-box and air conditioning. Living room with air conditioning, electric "wood burning" stove, three-seat sofa and dining table with two chairs. Smart TV with with access to both Portuguese and English channels and the possibility to sign in and watch Netflix, Apple TV etc. The kitchen is equipped with a ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, coffee machine Nescafé Dolce Gusto. The bathroom has a bidet and a bath with a shower. In the hall there is an intercom with video. WiFi is available free of charge.

The apartment is within easy walking distance of the city centre, the beaches and a number of restaurants and bars. For grocery shopping, Lidl and the local retail chain Pingo Doce are highly recommended. Both are only about 100-150 meters away. Within walking distance there are also two different local markets where you can buy fresh fish, seafood and locally produced fruits and vegetables.

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

- All keys and the remote control for the garage are left in the apartment, on the dresser in the hall.

Towels belonging to the apartment may not be brought to the pool  or to the beach.  Our local representative hires out beach towels if desired.

We very much enjoyed staying in this lovely VRBO. The location is perfect. A couple of grocery stores within a couple of minutes walk as well as a couple cafes. The apartment is very comfortable with two nice patios. If and when we come back to Lagos, we will certainly look to see if this VRBO is available. Great apartment with wonderful back patio which we used every day. Also loved that it was just steps to the Lidl grocery store. Convenient to old town and the marina as well. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Amazing property

The place was top notch! Everything you might need is available and much more. Very comfortable for a couple, superb terrace where you can relax and enjoy yourselves. The hosts was super friendly and helpful. You can walk everywhere from the apartment and very convenient. If we ever go back to Lagos we will definitely reserve again.

This VRBO rental was perfect! It was very clean and well equipped - it had everything we would ever need, even cooler bags and umbrellas for the beach! Great bbq with 2 patios. Large comfortable bed and walking distance to the beautiful old town, restaurants, marina, beaches and 2 grocery stores. We will definitely be back to beautiful Lagos and would not hesitate to stay there again!

Provides the best conditions for a great time

The apartment is about 20 minutes' walk from the old town and the harbor. The apartment is in a residential area, surrounded by several apartment buildings. It is on the ground floor and has two wonderful large terraces that everyone can look out onto. Otherwise, it is perfectly equipped and leaves nothing to be desired. We really enjoyed our time there and would rent it again.

Lovely apartment in Lagos

We loved this apartment. It’s in a great location - it is within close walking distance to the marina and all the restaurants but just far enough away that it is quiet and peaceful. The apartment has everything you need (the only thing we wished it had was beach towels - it would have been so handy since they are so bulky to pack and you really can’t do without them). It is on the first floor so one of the decks doesn’t provide a lot of privacy but the other deck is great and we used it a lot. This is a really wonderful apartment to come home to at the end of the day and is well equipped and well taken care of.

At the end of the day, it felt just like home.

This is a wonderful apartment, very comfortable and well located. After 2 weeks, it really felt like home. With 2 excellent grocery stores nearby, and farm markets, we had a lot of fun trying our hand at cooking with local ingredients (when we weren't tempted into to excellent local restaurants). One detail that I did not notice in previous reviews is that the building is at the top of a steep hill, and although it would be a minor inconvenience for some, it could prove to be a real challenge for those with physical issues. Otherwise, it is well worth the climb.

Property was first class, are only problem was the lead hanging from the television therefore unable to use it. Plus we were emailed just prior to our stay informing us the swimming pool was out of use

Excellent Apartment

The apartment is in an ideal location with all the amenities within walking distance. Close to the town, marina, beach and two supermarkets and being on the ground floor was a bonus. It was very spacious for a one bedroom property. Wifi was excellent too. We had everything we needed for a self catering holiday but we dined out every day as there are plenty of nice restaurants in Lagos. The old town is very relaxed in the evening with live music and it feels very safe for a busy holiday resort. We would not hesitate to recommend the property for it's location and amenities. The owner was very helpful and responded to all our questions. Thank-you to Joran & Miran

Great location and apartment

Fantastic communication with Jöran, always fast answers and effective. Teh apartment is well located (walking distance from Lagos historic downtown). Spacious and comfortable, with all the appliances you need. Only 2 things to improve: the description doesn´t mention that the apartment is ground floor located, so one of the 2 terraces are right close to the building entrance (not a big deal as the 2nd terrace which is the main is well located). Second thing is that the pool was broken during our stay, but there is nothing that owner could fix, so it is not her fault. Definetely I´d stay again.

Why they chose this property

Lagos is one of the best places in the Algarve and here we found everything that we were looking for. The reason we chose this apartment is thanks to the large terraces and the location within walking distance to the center of Lagos and the beaches.

What makes this property unique

The proximity to the center of Lagos and to the nearest beaches.
The proximity to the train station and the bus station means that you are not dependent on having a car.
