Location was excellent with many cafes close by. Three cafes under the unit make this place always lively, but excellent grade windows keep it quiet inside the unit when the windows are shut.
We were in the middle unit and the renters staying below us told us on entering the apartment that sound carried way too much asking us to remain quiet in the unit. When we had folks above us, you do hear noise, but it wasn't excessive in my opinion.
The kitchen is limited, but will allow for light cooking.
Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend this unit while in Paris.
Nice condo for a family of four
We enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Two condo. It had everything we needed and was in a good central location for all the sightseeing we wanted to do. Unfortunately we experienced a heatwave while we were there and with no a/c we had a few rough days. When the windows are open there is a nice breeze but with the cafes downstairs it is hard to keep the windows open in the evening as it gets really loud. It was nice to have laundry facilities available during our stay.
We promised our daughter a trip to Europe for her graduation from college, since she didn’t get to see anything but pubs when she spent a summer at Oxford with her schoolmates. We chose to “go native” and take only public transportation and took the Metro from Gare du Nord. Haven’t used Metro before we were surprised how easy it was.
The apartment is located about a couple of bistros. We were a little concerned about noise, especially in the late evenings, but surprisingly it was quiet by 10PM. It was the quietest place we’ve stayed inside a large city anywhere. The neighborhood and apartment is exactly what one would expect in Paris. The apartment was fully fitted out and we took almost all of our meals in the apartment. Even though the apartment is thoroughly modern, you can tell it’s a treasure from maybe even the French Revolution from the massive exposed beams which provide a nice counterpoint to the modern furnishings.
As Americans it took us awhile to realize that the switches on the landings of the stairs, which are very rustic and spiral, are for use by anyone. They turn on the lights for the stairwell, are on a timer, and turn off on their own. Us people from the other side of the pond are used to switches and building controls in common areas to being the purview of building maintenance personnel.
We were pleasantly surprised that we could actually see the towers of Notre Dame from our front windows. This was a fantastic place to come back to after spending a day soaking in the sights and museums of Paris.
For the price, it's well worth the money. Comfortably fit a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 children). The location makes this listing a can't miss booking. Right outside of the living room window you will hear unbelievable musicians. We enjoyed the lively atmosphere directly beneath us. Having a bedroom towards the rear of the apartment meant the kids weren't bothered by the noise at night.
The management team handled our two minor annoyances quickly, efficiently, and to our satisfaction. It was very pleasant to be in a rental where things were fixed immediately and the customer service was of an excellent quality.
Great apartment. Wonderful stay.
Great time staying in Paris. The apartment was wonderful and very well located. 2 blocks from the metro station. Was glad that there was a fan which drowned out the noise from downstairs (stayed over on the weekend, weekdays were not as loud downstairs). Lots of restaurants close by and a boulangerie with great croissants for breakfast and a fromagerie with wonderful cheese. About a 10 minute walk to Notre-Dame.
Great location, clean room, easy host, great value!
We loved this little place. It's 2 bedrooms, which can sleep 4, or more if you are adventurous. We were so glad we were in this location because it it close to everything but not busy or loud.
- The Latin Quarter area and the neighbouring Saint Germain area are very lively and full of restaurants, cafés, Jazz clubs, cinemas and trendy shops.
- The Latin Quarter is a very lively area. Walk to “Rue Mouffetard” & “place de la Contrescarpe” to have an outside dinner, stroll in the nearby and beautiful “Jardin du Luxembourg”, visit Ile Saint Louis, Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Pantheon, the Sorbonne university, le “Paradis Latin” Cabaret and the Saint Germain area. One finds plenty of restaurants, shops, cinemas and many cultural sites to visit.
