Great comments in the Visitors’ Book going back 20 years. Sue & Keith are the best of hosts and the cottage fitted the bill nicely for all we wanted to do and visit. A snowy but delightful week. A meal at the celebrated Goldsborough Hall is a must

Lovely cottage very clean with everything you could want as far as equipment is and comfort is concerned. Lovely welcome from owners with a welcome tray and helpful advice The only downside of the property is that there is no shop in the village but there is a nice pub Bay Horse which does affordable meals with great staff. The Goldsborough Hall hotel is beautiful but think again if you book a meal a 5 course meal will cost you at least £70 each so be prepared

A lovely little cottage, perfect for two people.
A lovely little cottage, perfect for two people. very well-equipped and comfortable. Lovely hostess. Only drawback was it was rather cold when we arrived and I worried about the bed. However once we got the heating going it warmed up and we were able to turn heating down and still be nice and warm. This is not a complaint but probably an over sight.

We were planning on blitzing York by getting a 6 day visitors pass, but decided on a 3 day pass after seeing the cottage and meeting Sue and Keith.Giving us a good reason to return soon. The local pub had closed temporarily and Sue and Keith offered to drive us to The Tiger in a nearby village so we could have a meal and a drink then we could get a taxi home.A very generous offer.Cottage is lovely in a nice quiet location, yet close to Knaresborough, short drive to Harrogate and only 20 minute drive to the York park and ride.We really do hope to be able to return again.
