A great little cottage on an ex-farm with a very friendly and helpful owner.
A great little cottage on an ex-farm with a very friendly and helpful owner. It was just what we needed at the right time for the right price.
Delightful upside down cottage.. well equipped and plenty of space. Good parking just outside. Good walking for the dog from the door! Nice courtyard. Need to be aware - access from main road quite narrow so could be a bit of a challenge for timid drivers, the freezer is in another building and water in the shower cubicle is a bit weak. Very minor issues!
Very good for a family. Nice homely vibes. Everything you need catered for in the kitchen/diner. Comfy beds. Lovely big lake and grounds for walking. The scones were a nice welcomed treat. Very friendly owners.

We had an absolute wonderful stay at The Granary.
We had an absolute wonderful stay at The Granary. The location was perfect with some lovely walks locally, and the place itself had everything we needed. It was lovely and cosy, and Clive was an excellent host, with scones on arrival and treats for our dog. I would highly recommend it.

Lovely cottage and lovely people who own it.
Lovely cottage and lovely people who own it. This was our second stay there and would thouroly recommend to everyone, only downside is that the single beds creak and squeak with any slight turn or movement! Really enjoyed the scones that were laid out for us upon arrival. Thank- you Sarah and Clive.

The Granary is in a lovely rural setting.
The Granary is in a lovely rural setting. Positioned on a old dairy farm of approx 10acres with is own lake. The accommodation is lovely, fully equipped for all you would need with a handy utility room, complete with a games room. Clive and Sarah are perfect hosts who welcomed us and gave us a tour of the grounds. They provided so many lovely touches. Goodies for cream teas, eggs fresh from their hens, as well as milk, tea and coffee. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here

We have just returned from a lovely weekend at The Granary.
We have just returned from a lovely weekend at The Granary. The cottage is so comfortable and homely, immaculate and equipped with everything you can think of. No problems with Wifi. We spent a lovely afternoon fishing in the owners private lake which the children loved - and was so peaceful, quiet and relaxing. We would also recommend the local adventure park 'Hidden Valley' which was great for our older kids with lots to keep them entertained.
The owners were very friendly and very welcoming with fresh scones and eggs waiting for us on arrival.
The whole weekend was perfect and we would happily stay all summer!

We really enjoyed our stay here, a warm welcome for us and our dog, and this was just the tranquil location we were hoping for. We particularly liked the comfortable upstairs living area. Our teenage sons loved the games room, and everyone enjoyed the pond with the peace and the wildlife. We had no need of shops and restaurants so can't really comment on this, our favourite day out was walking on Bodmin with the tors, standing stones and herds of ponies with foals.
