Perfect location with bars restaurants close.. Legends on the doorstep is great for food and has entertainment if dont want to venture to main strip ..20 min walk away.. villa is great plenty of space.. only thing is be careful if young kids running in from pool as tiling is extremely slippery when wet.. we put towels at doorways so wasn't so bad .. Mats at door ways that soak up water maybe .. as a safety measure

Needs a little love

The villa was in a good location, only a 15 minute walk to the main strip, however it was up a quite steep hill so would not be ideal for anyone who was not fit, with local amenities around it, and it was a short walk to the bus stop (the bus service is excellent and is only 1.50 wherever you go so easy access for Pathos). Paul who managed the villa was very friendly, and did respond to all phone calls. Even though we have entered some negative comments we enjoyed our stay and the pool area is great with a large pool and plenty of spaces to both sunbathe and also find shade when required. The BBQ area we used most days, we needed some tools for us to use the BBQ and Paul very kindly found them and dropped them off. I would happily recommend this villa as long as peoples expectations are managed :) The villa was very tired, when we arrived we found several door handles and bathroom rails either missing or hanging off, when I queried I was advised they would be done when Paul got some screws, they were still the same when we left. Overall the villa just needs a little love, everything is very old and worn. I read a review prior to booking this villa that said the same, however the comments had said it had been refurbished, unfortunately it hadn't. The villa could also do with a good clean, when we arrived the pool had not been cleaned, they said they could not do anything re the leaves, however we could tell they had been in there for a good few days, but on the upside they had left equipment so we could do it ourselves, and the villa had just had a basic sweep and mop and linen change, not what you expect for a change-over clean . With reference to linen we were surprised that there was not a change of linen or towels after the first week especially in the heat, we would suggest they leave 2 sets if they do not want to come in and change as most people change their bedding weekly.

Finally made it to Villa Golden Coral!

After booking the Villa in 2019 we finally made it! Villa is excellent, private and secure. Beach, pubs, restaurants and small supermarket all close by and Coral Bay strip a short bus ride away ( or 15 min walk). Villa is spacious and a great pool a lovely place to relax and enjoy the great sunshine. Big shout to Paul Foxon for maintaining the Villa and for all the information he passes on - thank you. Thanks also to Chris for continuously moving the booking during the Covid pandemic. 3 x small tables to go with the sunbeds would be good. The Rattan furniture outside needs replacing as damaged and there are things that need fixing when the materials become available ( discussed with Paul)

Early season Easter Holiday

Weather was good, no rain but a couple of days overcast, 20-25 temp Good holiday villa, everything you need and in good condition. Clean and tidy inside and out. Paul the management/maintenance guy was very helpful and quick to respond. Also gave us some good recommendations for places to eat and places to go up in the hills. Hot water took a bit of getting used to as its heated by solar but once we were organised it was perfectly fine Kids thought the wifi wasn't good enough but that's normal for teenagers. This is perfectly positioned for a short walk to the strip and the beach. Would recommend this property and we will probably go back again.

Nice villa near to the beach

This is a nice villa centrally located for beach, shops & restaurants, however it backs onto shops and a farm so you get noises from there early in the morning and dogs barking through the night ! The villa had a lick and a promise so we had to clean bathroom and flooors ourselves . The outside furniture was a little tired and worn as was most of the villa . Nice villa but could do with a little TLC to get it back to its best .

Property was very central to everywhere facilities were good only downside was no lights working in downstairs toilet mentioned to Paul nothing done shower doors hanging off had to fix myself oven was never cleaned outside furniture ready for upgrade bits hanging off settee chairs pool only cleaned once in a fort nite if a bit of talc would stay again

Enjoyable stay

The villa is lovely, but does need some updating. I do know that the owner is working with the current Management Team to make sure everything is kept in check so I'm sure it will continue to improve. All in all, we had a great stay, my only negatives are the cut-off times for the air con units, especially in the bedrooms as we had to get up 2 / 3 times per night, sweating, to switch them back on. Also, the quality of the mattresses aren't the best, we slept better on the sun loungers outside. I do want to thank Paul though for his quick response when we first arrived and he did keep the pool spotless.

Absolutely beautiful villa

We stayed at the villa in August for 7nights - our only complaint is that we didn’t book long enough!! The villa was perfect for us. Very well equipped, really clean, beautifully furnished - literally everything we had hoped for - and more. 1. Outdoor areas were perfect, plenty of places to eat, relax, sunbath, cook, play - and in a beautiful setting 2. Not overlooked. The house is slightly elevated at the rear so we could sunbath uninterrupted 3. Air conditioned - though the air con does click off at night after 2 hours so you need to put it back on if it is a hot season (we actually bought a standard fan from the supermarket for €20 which did the job perfectly 4. The directions to the property could have been better. We arrived at night and it was pitch black. If the directions had said “once you reach the crest of the hill, you will see the Dive Centre, turn left immediately in front of it and after 150yds turn right into an unmade road - the villa is the one on the right, directly facing you”, we would have found it straight away 5. The villa has a washing machine and a dishwasher - so take a few washing pods for each, with you 6. There is a supermarket less than 5 mins walk away, walk out of the villa, turn right at the end of the road and follow the path down towards the Coral Beach Hotel. There is also a much bigger supermarket a 5 min drive away which literally sells EVERYTHING including English brands like Sainsbury’s and Tesco! 7. The property maintenance guy, Paul, visited every couple of days and was very approachable and helpful 8. If you have a late flight home, book an extra night, it will be worth it. We didn’t and ended up booking somewhere in Paphos to get showered - it was a hovel! 8. Hire a car if you can - we didn’t use ours much because the villa was so awesome we just cooked there nearly every night, but it was nice to have it for trips to the supermarket etc 9. When we arrived there was water, fresh juice, milk and coffee/tea - as well as just enough washing up liquid etc - a great start when you’ve been travelling all day and just need a cuppa. 10. You can buy big bags of ice from the supermarket and there is a full size freezer in the house so no need to risk freezing the local water. We absolutely loved this house and would fully recommend it - there were only two of us but it is easily big enough for 6 people and an infant. We would love to come again if the opportunity arises!
