The Penthouse overlooks a spectacular ocean front view and you will have daily visits by exotic animals such as monkeys, sloths, birds , right on your balcony. This Modern apartment comes fully furnished with all of the luxurious qualities you can imagine, from cotton linens, to a fully functional kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, Italian leather couches, 55" Led T.V.s, and exotic finishes all through out. Although we offer private parking you can save money on a rental car and conveniently walk the strip or take the local bus and enjoy a tour around Manuel Antonio and Quepos. The Manuel Antonio National Park is just a 5 minute walk where you can enjoy seeing Monkeys, sloths, frogs, and many species of birds that call Manuel Antonio National Park their home, so bring your camera for unforgettable wildlife photographs. The park also contains beautiful beaches that offer kayaking, snorkeling, and surfing. And if you are Feeling more adventurous? Try rappelling down a waterfall .

This was a fantastic spot for our short stay in Quepos! Great location - walked to Manuel Antonio National Park, local restaurants, and of course the beach across the street. Everything was well-appointed and very clean. Communication and check-in with Raul and Steven made everything super easy - thank you!

Fabulous location, super clean, comfortable and well stocked. One of our best VRBO experiences! Raul made check-in super easy, Pablo was a fantastic surf instructor for me and my kids, Luis kept us beachfront with chairs and shade and Baldis kept us well fed. Walked into Manuel Antonio easily but had a great nature show from the balcony with capuchin monkeys, sloths, and macaws. Would definitely stay again and again!

STAY HERE! You will be right across from the beach and within walking distance to Manuel Antonio. There is a restaurant underneath, next door and two doors over! There are also a couple of small groceries in the area. Across the street is the main beach and you can get a canopy for the day with four chairs for less than 30. STAY HERE!

So so so much goodness at the Elephant Castle...I don't even know where to start! Our host Raul met us in person for check-in...a really nice touch! The place was spotless, and so beautifully appointed. Kitchen was well stocked and the extras linens were wonderful. The laundry was great (big w/d!). The beds....ohhhhh so comfy! The patio was a favorite of ours, AND the monkeys too! I really don't think we could have asked for a better location either....beach directly across the street; there is a restaurant directly below the apartment with delicious food and drinks; there is a grocery a few steps away; and it is walking distance to the Manuel Antonio national Park. The place has a private parking spot which was a tremendous value-add in an area that is very limited on parking. While all of the aforementioned were superb, the stand-out benefit to the Elephant Castle was Raul's recommendation/introduction to Pablo, one of the surf instructors at the beach. He was genuine and kind and took such good care of us...he made our stay extra special.We cannot wait to return!

The apartment was spacious and well equipped. The air conditioning was adequate for us. We enjoyed the monkey show on the balcony in the afternoon. The parking was perfect and access to the beach was excellent. Raul was so helpful in recommending and setting up excursions for us. A very nice additional service with this property.

Exceptional. You even have your own parking place in a very limited area for parking. We had extra cleaning service at no charge. The Host was perfect. The beach is in front of the place and the visiting monkeys were free!

Great beach place!!!

We would stay here again!! Great walkable location to many activities and places to eat. Both our kids(12/17) had a great time taking surf lessons from Pablo. The place is beyond clean and had everything we needed. Loved having coffee in the morning and watching all the activity on the beach.

The location was wonderful! We walked to the National Forest and to dinner every night. We were directly across from the beach and rented chairs and umbrella for 20 a day. There are 2 stores just down the street so we were able to purchase drinks and snacks. Juan was our contact and he helped us book a fishing trip, get taxi’s and answered every question we had. Home itself was very nice and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Our host Raul was amazing - he was super responsive and helped with many of our dinners and excursions!! The penthouse was perfect for our family of 4 - spacious, great location, had a few monkeys visit and a great restaurant right below us was a bonus! Ronald and staff at Baldi Plus were so nice and food and service amazing! If you want a surf lesson, beach chairs, etc. Pablo is your man! He will introduce himself to you - fabulous trip and back soon.

Hard to say whether the place or Raul was more awesome! He took care of everything from grocery orders to planning our favorite excursions. This place is uniquely closer to the beach than any other places you can stay on this strip. We saw monkeys, sloths and iguanas here when we thought it was required to spend time in the cloud forest. My only regret is we didnt stay here longer. If you are interested in surfing Raul will hook you up with Paublo and get you up in no time! If you love great food and drinks simply walk downstairs to Baldisplus. Click the button now and rent this beautiful place for an amazing costa rica experience!

We had a fantastic stay. This is a clean, clean, clean unit. It is fantastically located right across from the beach. The restaurant Baldi‘s directly beneath the unit is a phenomenal stop for anybody in the area. We ate there multiple times. Raul, the property manager is A. He was a tremendous resource for assistance with excursions and beach service recommendations, including Palo (surfboard surf lessons, boogie boards, assisting with chairs and umbrellas). Spent a lot of time talking with all of these people …just fantastic folks to deal with. The host was incredibly responsive as well. We are already working on booking a return trip-without any hesitation!

Fun, vibrant, friendly

We had an amazing time at the elephant Castle. The location is right in the hussle and bustle in front of the beach (which we loved), and walking distance from the park. We were well taken care of at every step—our concierge helped plan excursions and gave us tips. Thank you! We would definitely stay again.

Absolutely perfect

The apartment is a block away from the park. The restaurant downstairs is great and they will bring food upstairs for you. The beach is great. We saw monkeys walking on the wires across the street. You can’t find a better place to stay in Manuel Antonio.

Perfect Location

The place reminds me of a speakeasy. The entrance is right on the strip across from the beach. You entry through an unassuming door and immediately step into a different place. It was super nice and very convenient to the beach, groceries and the national park. I used the host to help book our excursions and I feel like I got better deals than booking them myself.
