Wind House Review

The stay was all in all nice. Close to family, good location to multiple places. The only thing I would say is all the rules can be intimidating as yes the house is nice, but all the "fees may occur" was kind of nonsense. Blinds were broke, shower and stairs werent exactly the cleanest, the house itself needed a good thorough scrub. There are notices everywhere of them having "top notch professional cleaners" but they definitely missed a few things. The internet also does not show up nor can you search what is left, so make sure you have hotspot enabled devices. They also request ID to stay which is a little odd. All in all, we would stay again, however I wont be so intimidated by all the rules, the house needs a facelift.

Advertised sauna - not working. No overhead lights or lamps working in the lower leverl bedrooms. No remote in the master bedroom. Took 3 days to get someone to help with TV issues. They didn't address the lack of remote or lights. No propane in the outdoor heaters. Out door area dirty.

Filthy, cobwebs, mold in bathrooms, would not recommend

Several problems, sauna did not work and asked host several times to help and he just kept saying it works. Then lied and said he was at the house and sauna worked when we were still in the house. Mold in shower curtain downstairs bathroom. Cobwebs everywhere in the house. Pool was dirty and full of leaves and dirt and green. Lights did not work in bedrooms and TVs were missing removes and batteries. No screen on patio slider, could not let in fresh air. I have photos of everything I am stating if your interested. The photos were sent to host as well.

Great Setup - Would Stay Here Again

Came for an Ironman event. Place was great. Excellent proximity to downtown, airport, grocery stores, etc. Small hiccup with some lighting issues were remedied quickly by the property manager. Would stay here again. Oh, and in contrast to some previous reviews, we experienced no ghosts. 😆

The worst place to stay.

The place was basically falling apart, the cabinets were falling apart, and very spooky things were happening at the property. Doors were closing by themselves, things were falling by themselves and it was a hassle trying to shorten our stay, they weren’t trying to refund us the rest of the days we didn’t want until we told them who we were and then that’s when they called headquarters to “override” the reservation. Overall would NOT recommend this property to stay and i strongly believe they pay people to write the “good reviews” under this property. Just terrible, never staying in this house or with this company ever again.

Noise from airport was not diclosed prior to booking. A/c was not working part of our stay.

The kitchen supplies was very minimal. No instructions for the TV. Outside TV was not working. Towels and wash cloths poor. Property was not available at 4pm as promised. We did not get in until 5:30pm. We will never rent the property again. If you are professional property managers you will take these comments in a positive way and give us some discount. Regards. Downhill from the start.....although check in is four o’clock..cleaning person was on site till 5:30. Barf in one bedroom found later that evening. Broken kitchen cabinets sparse utensils..... next day maintenance returns to repair air conditioning. Broken mirror vanity in master bath. Horrible creepy noisy air conditioner had to be turned off . Won’t mention the broken sauna. Otherwise house good..would not select it again

Spacious and unique home

We rented Teya’s home as a place to sleep after spending all day with our relatives. It was a large and interesting space. We would have loves to have more time there. There were only one or two very minor issues during our stay that the team was very quick to respond to. Overall, an excellent experience. Some interesting features were a dipping pool, nice backyard patio, infrared sauna and bidets. We also enjoyed the cute themed rooms. Thanks Teya!

Has great potential

On the day of arrival we kept waiting for an email or something to go out with the front door code. We tried calling multiple times and messaging in Facebook. Finally while we were on hold with VBRO 25 minutes after check-in the listing person returned our call and we finally made it inside. The small pool is larger than it looks. Maybe 4ft by 8-10 feet. Perfect for kids to splash around in or adults to sit and cool off. We did have to pick up some broken glass and a beer bottle cap as well as clean the sliding door track (dirt, grime, and dog hair build up made it next to impossible for kids to open and close.) As it is a rental there obviously has been some damage from others. Broken kitchen cabinet, cracked microwave, broken window shutters, cracked medicine cabinet. The forks and spoons were not sufficient, but there was an abundance of knives. Also an abundance of spices left by others. The house has high ceilings and high windows which lack window coverings, therefore the air conditioner has a habit of blowing a fuse even if you keep the house cave like. Have the person show where that is the first time they come to repair it. The outdoor seating area and BBQ are great. The outdoor TV works well with a Nintendo switch or whatever you bring from home, but has no cable or remote. You are close to an airport to expect the occasional interruption while having an outside conversation. Inside, airport noise is very muted. The master shower lacks lighting. The bidets on the upstairs bathrooms are very nice. The house has nice useable and flexible spaces. The garage currently has things in it that would make it difficult to accommodate 2 vehicles, however the neighborhood is very safe so parking in the driveway or on the street should not be an issue. While we did get off to a rough start, we did have an enjoyable time and I would consider renting this home again provided it is well cared for in the future.

Best backyard ever

Overall very nice stay. Issue with A/C, someone responded, but it was still not working. Luckily, weather was good enough to open windows and cool down the house. Really enjoyed the outdoor space - very comfortable and relaxing.

We were moved to different home a few weeks before our stay. The paradise home is where we stayed. Great location to get to Sacramento Convention Center. House was beautiful. The master shower leaked into the downstairs living room the very first day so the master bath could not be used . That was a big bummer . There were stains on the ceiling so this was not the first leak. House was very large and very clean. Pool was nicely kept but very cold (not heated) the home was decently stocked with items. All the electrical outlets in one bathroom did not work. Overall a nice home but needs electricity and plumbing fixed before anyone stays there again

Spacious home but lacking essentials

The home is very large and spacious. Accommodated our family of 8 people very well. There were minor issues that bothered us such as a few light fixtures that were not working (bathroom and bedroom). We called for them to be fixed which was also a hassle bc the maintence guy was on vacation. He said he would then send someone else to fix it the following morning, but no one showed up. He didn’t even call/text me to tell me that they were not coming. It wasn’t until I messaged him that night and he told me the guy had a family emergency. I understood there was an emergency, but couldn’t he have had the courtesy of calling to tell us? We could have just tried to fix the bulbs ourselves. (Probably with chairs and hoped we didn’t fall) Another thing that was a negative was missing essential items such as toilet paper, kleenex, paper towels, dish detergent, and laundry detergent. We had to buy all of that. We paid a lot of money for our 5 night stay, at least they could have made sure to give us toilet paper?!?! Despite it all, we still had a great time during our holiday stay. It was cozy and welcoming. Didn’t get to enjoy the bbq area outside bc it was too cold. The beds we comfortable and clean.

House was nice, spacious and exactly as described in the property details. We reported issue with bathroom lock and a technician was sent over within few hrs to fix it. Directions to use Sauna could have helped. Heating and cooling was not consistent throughout the property with central heating system. Few rooms were little warmer than others after we turned the heaters on. Our overall stay was pleasant.

We had an awesome Family Reunion and a Wedding!

Overall the house was adequate for our family. However their were many things that were damaged before we got there. I took photos and forward to Stefan. All he said was he new about the damages to have a good time. We loved the back porch and small swimming pool. The back porch table was dirty and may trees are dying from no water. It makes the area not care for. I have asked twice when will I get my deposit with no answer.

Comfortable and convenient location

We enjoyed having plenty of space for our family. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked several meals. Parks are walkable and the neighborhood was accessible to freeways and downtown. We would have liked to use the hot tub but it wasn’t heated.
