The Prevelly Beach House es ideal para familias, con dos salas de estar y está al otro lado de la carretera desde el medio de la impresionante Bahía de Prevelly. A visit to Margaret River from Canada

We have made a habit of visiting Margaret River every time we are in Australia . We all love being in Prevelly to walk the beach trail, coffee at the White Elephant Cafe and watching the amazing sunsets. Our stay would not be complete without a visit to Leeuwin Estate for the most delicious wine pairing lunch.

Great stay for friends with babies!

6 adults with 3 kids under 18 months. Stayed first week of December. Fantastic location, halfway between Riflebutts Reserve/Sea Garden end and Gnarabup Beach/White Elephant end. On the main road which runs along the beach but no sea views due to sand dune. Comfortable beds, nice linen and very clean property. Inside dining area way too small and in the way, so we always had to outdoor dine which could be challenging in cooler weather. 2x living spaces was great. Renovated kitchen has drawers and cupboard with no handles (soft closing) which was so helpful with 3 babies toddling around. Well equipped kitchen with everything you would need and appreciated the bin bags, dishwasher tablets, oil and dishwashing liquid being supplied. No kitchen mishaps or backyard mishaps. Grass had no prickles despite earlier review. Everyone raved about the shower heads :) Recommend a fan being provided for the house, we had mild temperatures and we still required the use of our fans which we brought down on a couple of nights. Locked ourselves out at one point and Swell Stays were extremely responsive. Highly recommend for a beach style getaway!

Great place in a great locatiob

The house is across the road from the beach. It is modern and has high quality beds and other equipment. An excellent base for a visit to the Margaret River region.

Amazing Location

A lovely, spacious home that has been newly refurbished. Loved the claw bath and retro tiles. The beds were very comfy and the position of the house perfect. No sea views but a 5 minute walk across the road to Prevelly Beach. We visited and ate everywhere. Great spot.

Loved it!!!

Where to start.... absolutely loved this house. Location is perfect, across the road from beach and easy walk to cafe and river, kitchen very well equipped, lounge chairs super comfy, outdoor shower with hot water so convenient, lots of grass and parking, beds great. What is not to like??? Very minor constructive criticism (but only to make house perfect in every way), only hanging storage in the two minor rooms. Could do with some shelves or drawers. Prickles in the grass! Kids did not like that! And no air conditioning. Could be remedied with pedestal fans for the hot days (which I know are pretty limited down south). We will definitely be staying again!

We had a great family time. Loved having our dog with us and walking over the road Directly to the beach was excellent. Plenty of lovely comforts in the house and out the back. So nice to have the big bath, the big comfy beds and the coffee machine with pods provided! Heating could be better for winter would be my only suggestion, saw the pile of wood , thought there might have been a potbelly somewhere inside! Not sure what the wood was for. Even a gas heater? Anyway would love to comeback in summer. Thanks for being an owner who allows dogs, made it a great holiday to have her along too.

Great family property

We had a fantastic week here with my family - 2 young boys and our dog. Despite the weather we had a great time. Stormy beach walks and even a swim or two. Excellent location and great house and backyard. We’ll (hopefully) be back again

Cosy Winter Getaway

Headed to Margs for our Babymoon so was looking for a relaxing week away just the two of us before we become three! That is what we got! The house was equipped with everything we needed and was very clean and tidy. We took our two dogs with us so having a secure backyard was also important to us. The fireplace was just the icing on the cake as it made our stay cosy and romantic. It also heats the majority of the house well if needed. Prevelly is a great spot and not too far from Margaret River and all that it offers. The weather wasn't overly on our side so didn't get down to the beach however the property is just across the road from a beach entrance.

Great property

Excellent house for a group. Very well equipped with an excellent kitchen and bbq area and great location across the road from the beach. It was nice having a selection of board games and two living areas. The house was also very clean- highly recommend.

Very disappointing

House was unclean, beds were very uncomfortable and kitchen is not functional. Overpriced. Management very unhelpful.

Hi Megan, Thanks for your feedback. Our team works very hard so it’s a shame to receive our first negative review. I do admit, we weren’t very helpful when you contacted us on Boxing Day when you had already been at the property for 4 days. The cleaning issues you mentioned, for example: cobwebs under the outdoor furniture could have been rectified by our team in less than 2 hours, which is why I offered you a refund of $100 and a bottle of local wine, but you insisted on a refund of $1900 which we think is a bit unreasonable. You also mentioned the beds are uncomfortable. 2 weeks ago I spoke to a guests who said she loved how comfortable the beds were so I guess we can't win :) I am also still waiting on the photos you said you would email me. Next time you stay somewhere, contact the staff immediately and give them a chance to rectify any issues you might have. Glad to see you give the location 5 stars. I feel very luck to call this place home! Warm Regards, Dee

Fantastic accomodation!

We loved staying in this wonderful home. Very spacious, well equipped with games, DVDs etc & great that it has 2 lounge rooms & 2 tvs! Also king bed was very comfy & the backyard was a great size for our fur baby! I'd highly recommend this property.

Excellent beachside property

Fantastic quiet location, literally across the road from easy access path to beautiful Prevelly beach with dog exercise area. House was spacious and accommodated our family of 5 giving everyone their own space with 2 lounges and 2 bathrooms. House was very clean and recently renovated. Warm and cosy with the woodburner and plenty of wood. Games and books were well used. Comfy couches and room for everyone to relax. Attractive furniture. Nice aspect and back yard, big enough for the dog to play and fully fenced/secure. Overall a great place, comfortable and well equipped and maintained. No aircon so unsure how it would feel in Summer but presume the sea breezes would help...

Had a excellent week at the beach side house . Weather was cool with scattered light rain . Had the weather been hot and humid would like to have have Air Con . in Master Bedroom . Also would suggest a couple of screwdrivers so as to tighten loose handles on pots & pans

Great location and value for money

We spent the weekend at The Beach House and it exceeded our expectations. House was in a great location opposite the beach, really well presented with adequate kitchen and living facilities. Great back yard set up for the beach lifestyle of Prevelly. We'll be visiting again for sure.

We love our region and enjoy getting involved in all that our community has to offer - you will often find us visiting the local Farmers Market on Saturday mornings, drinking coffee at one of our favourite local Cafés (Egberts or White Elephant), joining a Walk Talk Taste Tour of our town's best restaurants & bars, visiting one of our many cellar doors to purchase some local wine or spending a whole day at the beach with the kids!
We want our guests to be able to relax and enjoy all our great region has to offer and at Swell Stays we understand the importance of cleanliness and customer service, which in turn creates the perfect holiday experience for our guests.
