Honeymoon trip

It is in a great spot on the beach. Location is great for food and activities. Marathon is great. We enjoyed the property and the location. Great sun rises and beach view from the patio.

Week in paradise

Truly amazing. Nothing beats an oceanfront view on the beach with a pool for a great price!! So clean, great location and easy check in/check out process. Absolutely everything you need right in the middle of the Keys where so many activities and restaurants are accessible. I’ve grown up vacationing in the Florida Keys with my family and this was by far my favorite trip. The manager Kevin was incredible sending out tons of great restaurant and activity ideas. The residents we came across were so kind and this was overall such a peaceful experience. I would definitely come back and will be telling everyone about it!!!

Loved it

First time to the Florida Keys and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. Pool is great and the beach is to die for. It’s a perfect place to get to and from all the Keys. It’s also very quiet. We loved that. Beautiful property.

Coco Plum

The location was wonderful. We had a lovely view of the ocean and pool. It is an older building and so that comes with a few small issues, but it was very cute and cozy.

Wonderful views

Wonderful views from nice screened in porch. Condo located in quiet neighborhood but close to restaurants and stores. Facilities are nice with extra touches and full of people who rent here year after year.

Great View!

Just as listed, ocean view with comfortable accommodations. Nothing fancy, homey feel, with great views. Kevin the property manager is and always has been very attentive to any needs. We had a great stay!

We loved our stay at this property. The beach was great and not crowded. We loved spending time at the pool There are so many other beaches you can visit close by. So many great restaurants super close by. The condo was clean and comfortable with comfy beds. Great view from the balcony. We would definitely stay here again. by

Vacation

This place is in a wonderful location. The best beach we saw while visiting Marathon was right outside our door and with the pool right there it was a win-win. The unit had everything we needed for a weeks stay. Everything in the unit and on the proper was clean and neat. Very well kept. If we were to return to Marathon again, we would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful condo

This is our 2nd year staying in unit 14 and seventh stay overall. Love Royal Plum ! Meghan and Kevin are awesome and the property is beautiful. Pool always at perfect temp ! Our go to happy place in Marathon!

Summer vacation 2019

Condo was great. Property manager was very friendly, helpful. Grounds /pool were very nice. Had loud neighbors late at night but can't help that. Worse part was the seaweed, very bad smell so that you couldn't enjoy sitting on patio along with the property owners 2-3 doors down the beach were raking it up every day making the smell unbearable because it was wet....

Grounds are beautiful and well maintained outside.

The Royal Plum is a very beautiful complex. The grounds are very well maintained. Is just a beautiful place. Our unit this time was a little dated and not well cared for. But it was ok. We don’t spend much time inside anyway. A few of our favorite restaurants were closed for vacation but we ventured out and found new ones. Sparkys Landing is an all time favorite as well as Franks and Burdines. Grands and Burdines were closed but we found the overseas bar and grill....amazing and no name bar and grill.....both very good. We will definitely be back in the Spring.

“Homey” vs Lack of cleanliness and routine upkeep

Not good. The property does not have elevator access; beware—nowhere was that advertised. So many rules; notes all over the place (unit 14). Non working ceiling fan in living room with a strict rule of A/C not being set below 72.; the unit was extremely warm. The unit was dirty and had water damaged bathroom cabinets that were falling apart. They tell you the stains in the tub are a chemical reaction. If that he the case—why aren’t all of the condos in the Keys experiencing this? The tub was old and it needed resurfaced or replaced—and CLEANED properly. When contacting the Manager after leaving—being there only 24 hours—they did provide a partial refund for the week we booked. They will respond with its “homey” not a resort. A home should be clean; this was not. They allot each person one towel, one washcloth, and one towel for the entire week (they do disclose that in the long list of rules and contract they ask you to sign). If you use more—you will be charged a fee. They do have a coin-op ..but we found that to be a very cheap way of taking care of your guests; more towels is such a simple, inexpensive thing to provide. The site won’t allow us to upload our photos for proof. We cannot recommend this place. Remember—“homey equals NOT cleaned or maintained”-they will respond otherwise. Don’t buy it. Thank you

Nice place excellent view of sun rise

We stayed 8 days and it was great we would go back to enjoy the area. I marked the housekeeping down because there was a lot of dust buildup behind bed tables and dresser and I’m have allergies so it was a little unpleasant. The area is great for exploring the keys and the people are very friendly. If you go enjoy yourself and use the beach in front of the condo it may look bad but once you get in a little it’s worth it.

Keys getaway

This is our third time staying at Royal Plum, our fourth time to the Keys. We love this location-amazing pool, super friendly staff, great beach. Nothing less than a fabulous week. We’ll definitely be back-hopefully sooner than later!!
