Beautiful Bass Lake Rental Home! Full Lakefront and pier access.

Relax in this spacious home-away-from-home with a covered front porch deck with full lakefront and pier access*. Sleeps up to 10 guests with a king size bed in the master bedroom, double bed the second bedroom, and 2 double size bunk beds and a twin on top in the 3rd bedroom. Two full bathrooms with softened water. Fully stocked, spacious kitchen, dining room, living room and laundry room with washer and dryer. Free WIFI and cable TV so you can stay in touch while away from home. Close to Notre Dame, Culver Academy, Maxinkuckee, Winamac, Tippecanoe River and Starke Hospital. No smoking or pets allowed on premises.

*Please note the pier is removed the weekend after Labor Day. Boats and other PWC will need to be augered in the lake after Labor Day week.

Beds were so comfy, place was clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything you may need to cook. The owners were very understanding of my special need. Very nice people. The view was great, we could see all the way across the lake. A really great area to relax and play!

Amazing Stay on Bass Lake!

Jill and David were fantastic to work with and the house was exactly as described! Very clean and plenty of room for everyone. We really enjoyed the front porch and the view it provided! Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Bass Lake!

Wonderful home & host!

We were in town for my daughters graduation and had down time Saturday night and Joe built a fire in the pit by the lake for us to enjoy! It was an awesome experience!!

This was a great getaway and place for family to come together. The hospitality was awesome!

We had a great time with our 3 daughters, our son-in-laws, and two grandchildren. The rental was just the right size for our family. The property was clean, had cute decor and amenities were great! The hospitality was awesome. It was a pleasant relaxing weekend. We would definitely rent again and Rex this property.

Bass Lake stay

We loved the house. Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep and there were open spaces for us to gather. The lake was nice but the small beach area was not clean enough for children. Not really a nice swimming area unless you go out past the pier. Parking was an issue but if it was just one family it would be fine. The owner lived next door so if we needed anything it was easy to find her. The house was well equipped with dishes, pots and pans and towels and pillows, that was very nice. Overall it was a fun vacation and we would love to go back.

Wonderful house and lovely community

We loved staying in this spacious, up-to-date lake house. Not a "make-do" camper's cottage, but a proper house, with a smart TV, dishwasher, laundry, kitchen with cookware, charcoal grill, big living/dining room, and a wonderful porch. Lakefront area included a firepit & table with umbrella as well as dock access. We rented a boat from the marina (make sure to call the marina several weeks in advance for a weekend rental) and were able to pull up to the dock easily. Owners live nearby and were super helpful about everything, explaining how to pull in to the dock (we are newbie boaters) and making sure we understood the rules of the property and how to find things in the community. Lake is well stocked with fish, and the folks at the marina, bait shop, bakery, and convenience store were all helpful and friendly. This seems to be a community where people live year-round and get to know each other, not just a weekend haven. Everyone was kind and welcoming, even when it was obvious we were there on a short-term rental. It's a good area for walking and biking - the road goes right along the lakefront in the area that this property is in. Stores and restaurants nearby in Knox will have what you need for provisions and meals, as long as you're not set on your favorite brands of everything or blessed with a picky eater in your family. I ended up taking a longer drive to Plymouth to get some things my child particularly wanted, at the Wal-Mart over there. Drives in the area are all very pleasant, if you like farmland scenery, and not busy. We loved our stay at this property and in this community and we plan to come again next year. Highly recommended.

Peaceful Retreat

We spent a long weekend here. What a peaceful community and beautiful view of Bass Lake. We had everything we needed and the process was simple and straightforward. Thanks for hosting us. We will be back!

Clean, comfortable, and cozy

Cottage was just as the pics showed. Really cutely decorated and cozy. We loved having the big porch to sit out on and the view of the lake was great. They even have a book with the history of the lake that was really interesting and made us like the lake even more. The fire pit was really nice on the cooler nights and there was a band on Saturday night at one of the restaurants across the lake that we could hear clearly and really enjoyed. We would definitely stay again!

Fantastic, as usual

Owners are very hospitable, and responsive. The property is clean and comfortable~ great location right at the corner of the lake. Right in front the house is shallow enough for my kids to play but deep enough to tie a boat to the pier. Bass Lake is a quiet, calm place to enjoy “lake life” during the week. We love it!! Thank you!!

Host was amazing!

Jill and David were amazing host. Went above and beyond. The house was very roomy and ample. Perfect kids room, kitchen was full of supplies and beds were comfy! Lake access was amazing. Easy for fishing and kayaking. Great place to stay!

Great House by the Lake

Jill was a great host. The house was spotless when we arrived and set up like a professionally managed vacation villa. It was our first time at Bass Lake and we enjoyed the views and the friendly community. We would definitely stay here again.

Bass Lake Weekend

in regard to accuracy in listing, I would eliminate the Bass Lake Marina info and insert, owner has info on renting pontoon. Our stay here was delightful, Jill is the most gracious hostess. early morning coffee on the large porch with the great view of the lake was the best way to start the day. We would definetly stay here again. Clean and inviting, we enjoyed a wonderful weekend.
