This is a very comfortable & well maintained house on a very walkable & charming street in old Palo Alto. It easily accommodated our family group (6 adults & 1 child). The kitchen, dining room & sitting areas (inside and out) were just right for us. There are shops and parks nearby and easy access to main roads for going longer distances.

The house is amazing. Comfortable and easy to use as a home base but might have been even more amazing if we had spent more time in the house. Lots of beautiful seating areas inside and out. Antique stove was both beautiful and functional. Close to California Ave restaurants. Easy parking and quick access to area freeways. Nicest place we have stayed yet.

Family Wedding

What a fabulous stay in Old Palo Alto in this gracious house. We were there for a family wedding and wanted a cozy sanctuary to recharge between events. We found it at this house. Can’t recommend it enough!

Roomy and Airy

This very roomy and airy home is comfortable, nicely decorated, and situated in a lovely and quiet Palo Alto neighborhood. It is ideal for up to six adults or a family. There are several well-landscaped private outdoor areas for relaxing and eating. The photos of the property are accurate and the kitchen is perfect for preparing meals and eating in the nicely appointed dining room.

We’ve stayed here before and will continue to return whenever we’re visiting Palo Alto. Clean, comfortable, and host is very responsive and accommodating. If you’re disappointed with this home, then you’re one of those individuals who is impossible to please.

Beautiful, well equipped home. Great location.

We were a group of friends returning to Palo Alto for our Stanford class reunion. Angela’s home is lovely and well equipped. We had a full schedule of activities so never cooked a meal at the house, but it would have been perfect for meals at the house, with lovely outdoor seating areas. Instead, it was an easy walk to California Ave for bagels, coffeee, etc and easy to get to the Stanford campus. We would love to return if it’s available for our next one.

Pretty Palo Alto

Angela has been wonderful with helping us get checked in a tad earlier due to a surgery I had the day before…Also, was not insistent on the 10a.m departure but gave us a little extra time again due to my surgery and time needed to gather…The gardens here are incredible. I would go back just to sit in this yard…Beautiful location…a stroll down these streets is just what the doctor ordered….you should immediately decide on Angelas home over others…

Could not have been more pleases

I have stayed at several rental properties. This one exceeded all of them. It is a beautiful well stocked house. The living space was spacious, bathrooms updated as well as the kitchen. The location is perfect for anyone wanting access to downtown Palo Alto, Stanford, and/or Los Altos. We will definitely try to get this house for next Christmas holiday season.

Beautiful space! Property matched property photos. Small insects like ants, silverfish, spiders in the house. Would have been nice if exterior patio furniture could have been cleaned/maintained. Lots of dust, debris, stains, and cobwebs.

The room on the top floor is spacious with very big closets and powder room. Ground floor doesn't have much natural lighting. The house is conveniently located, very nice and cozy and the host is very fast in replying when you have any questions.

A lovely oasis

We lived in Palo Alto decades ago and this stay brought back such fond memories of a quiet town that still has a lot of the flavor of its past as well as new, more upscale Silicon Valley vibe on California Avenue. The house is tastefully decorated, with organic neutral earth colors that are restful and serene. All bathrooms are updated and the kitchen could be a showroom for an appliance store, with a beautiful Wedgewood-paneled oven that we found intimidating but loved its visual elegance! Will definitely stay here again. Also, the host--Angela Pryor--is so responsive and cheerful with answering our questions about the television streaming. Couldn't ask for anything more!

Amazing stay in great location

We stayed here for a week in July while our kids attended Stanford soccer camp. The home was perfect for us--has a great layout and perfect master suite upstairs. The home had everything we needed, and Angela was very responsive when we had questions. The home was charming and in a wonderful location in Old Town Palo Alto. We are already planning to return next summer!

Lovely home in Old Palo Alto

This was the perfect place for our family to gather for a few days around Thanksgiving. The house are gardens are beautifully done and it is very comfortable place to stay. Highly recommend.

I don’t want to leave such a positive review because I selfishly want the property to be available to me for future trips. I suppose I’ll just have to plan months in advance because I’m sure other visitors will book this perfect home when they are in the area. If you have the opportunity, don’t pass this one up!

Wonderful place.

Excellent house and location. It is 6 minutes walk to Steve Jobs’ house, 1.2 miles to the nearest Trader Joe’s.

Wedding hang out

Six adults stayed for a week to attend out son's wedding in Menlo Park. Beautiful and clean property in a quiet residential neighborhood but close to shopping and downtown Palo Alto. Knockout master bedroom suite. Very nice backyard with gazebo and outdoor dining space plus shady porch when it got warm. Angela is a very responsive owner and clearly takes pride in maintaining an exceptional property.

Beautiful Home

The home is in a beautiful neighborhood. Very close to everything. There is no air conditioning downstairs and it was hot during our stay so it did get a little uncomfortable. The fans helped. The yard is really pretty but having a grill would have been a nice addition. Overall we enjoyed the home. It is well appointed and very nice.
