This property is in a beautiful, safe and quiet family neighborhood. Our charming, two-story guesthouse is on a five acre property and features white stucco exterior with red roof and spanish accents inside. Fast Wi-Fi allows for remote work or relaxation in a quiet country setting with privacy from the Main House. Abundant opportunities to watch deer, hummingbirds, and butterflies.

A cozy living room, bright clean kitchen with full size appliances, and comfortable bedrooms make this the perfect place to relax and unwind. The master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed, two closets, a TV with ROKU, a small desk and chair. This room has an incredible view of the distant hills. Secondary bedroom has a queen size sleigh bed, nice size closet and dresser. Sit outside at the picnic table and eat under a canopy of oak trees.

We are only 18 minutes from lovely Main Street in Boerne and the grocery stores that are in town. We are also close enough to enjoy the famous Riverwalk or explore other fun Hill Country towns.

We have many incredible restaurants to suit any taste within a 10 to 25 minute drive! Beautiful wineries, parks, nature trails, golf courses abound. Just ask and I can make recommendations!

This is our best experience with any rentals in the past. The house was very clean and had daily items normally needed that we have not seen in any other rental. And our host Sharon was amazing!!!We will definitely go back again when we visit Bourne.

They have thought of everything. So very accommodating as well . Such a quite cute spot . Very isolated super private yet it’s right off the main road in the subdivision. So easy to find . Amazing Hostess

Sharon was a great hostess. The house was beautiful and clean. The area was so quiet and much appreciated since this was a vacation away from the children. Sharon made herself avaliable for anything we needed and was very helpful at giving out suggestions for things to do in the area. Clean and Comfy!

We stayed for the weekend to explore and drive into Fredericksburg for peaches. The place was very clean and comfy! Enjoyed our time on the porch with the pretty views and seeing all the deer as we drove through the neighborhood. Sharon was a great host and offered some wonderful restaurants for us to try. We drove into Boerne and enjoyed dinner at Las Guitarras Cocina and then drove to Tiny Schnitzel the next day for German food. Will definitely stay here again!

Very nice, clean and pleasant. Lovely views great location in a subdivision. Well equipped kitchen. Provided amenities needed. Nice outdoor space for friends to gather. A little playground as well. Comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend.

Great stay!

Excellent place to stay and explore the Hill Country! We stayed for 2 months and found the Antler House to be very clean, comfortable and peaceful. Sharon and Steve are excellent hosts. The only time we saw them was when they drove in or out of the driveway. The only con we have is the entrance to the driveway is rough, but it would not deter us from staying again. Thank you again Sharon and Steve!

We loved staying at this location. It was exactly what we needed for our weekend get away. From arrival to departure the host was always very communicative and accommodating. She provided recommendations on food and activities on the area that would appeal to our 9 year old. As soon as we entered the home, we had an immediate "at home" feeling because it is such a cozy little house. One of the highlights was our "breakfast guests", a couple if deer were visting one morning and people from a big city, that was very exciting to us. We will be booking again when we are in the area.

Amazing!

This little guest house was perfect for us! We were just there to sleep and wish we had time to stay in and enjoy the coziness of the house. Christmas decorations were fabulous. The kids loved them! Everything was super clean/sanitized. Plenty of space and very well kept. The location was safe and we absolutely enjoyed watching the deer roaming the area on our drive back and forth to town. And having a working washer and dryer is always a plus!

Perfect!

This guesthouse was the perfect place for us to relax outside of the city for the week we were there. You have beautiful views and a playground for the kids. Then San Antonio and Beorne are just down the road so if you don't feel like cooking, there are amazing dining options a short drive away. The hosts are fantastic and tell you to call them with any concerns or if you want any suggestions for activities and dining. I highly recommend this property.

Panoramic view in serene setting

It's a real treat to escape to this peaceful location, tucked away in the rolling hills and surrounded by wildlife. The deer were plentiful, and there were caves to explore and trails to hike. The home itself was very clean and tidy and updated, with cozy beds and relaxing living areas. The kitchen contained all you needed to make yourself at home. I appreciated that the rental cost was relatively affordable. The hosts were easygoing and helpful, eager to suggest where to go and what to eat. It was like staying at the family compound =)

Haven in the Hill Country

This guesthouse was a perfect haven for exploring the Hill Country sights, in addition to enjoying nature and outstanding views while at the house. The house is lovely, immaculately clean, and comfortable, tucked away on a hillside where deer visited us daily. It is so peaceful and restful and was a perfect place to come back to after our treks north to Fredericksburg and south to Boerne and New Braunfels. Sharon and Steve are great hosts! They were so gracious and accommodating and really exemplify Texas hospitality. My sister, niece, and I would definitely love to stay in this house again—-just longer!

Cozy Cabin

I just want to thank Sharon for her wonderful hospitality. We were in town to help make long term care arrangements for my aging mom, not a easy task at all. The cabin was very nice and clean and perfect for what we needed. Sharon was so accommodating and sent me weather updates because a freeze was hitting. She allowed us to extend our stay twice due to the weather and made sure we had all the essentials. Great communication and kindness. We will definitely stay here again when in town. I highly recommend.

The view outside property was stunning. I do wish it would have been closer to Boerne. Very good idea to stay here with a spouse or date like weekend. Lots of winding roads that lead to property which is something I'm not used to. Hints why they call this the Hill Country.. About an hour from the San Antonio River Walk. Closest Wal-mart was about 25 minute drive. Loved the covered parking. This lot is feet away from the owners own property. This would be perfect for getting away and not wanting to do anything but sight-see and relaxing! 2 bedroom and 1.5 bath with 1.5 bath downstiars. The only thing I would change was more comfortable seating in living area. We had 3 stay over night and we ended up sitting in the floor or just going up to master bedroom to watch TV. Clean up was also easy peasy. Beautiful location.

So glad you loved the area and scenic views! I'm not sure what you mean by the guesthouse being "feet away from the owner's own house". We have 5 acres here and made sure to build the guest house out of the direct line of sight from our main home which is way down a very long curved driveway with trees. We did this purposely for lots of privacy for ourselves and our guests. Everyone that stays here comments on how private it is Also not sure what you are saying about the seating?? Three of you spent the night and the living room has a recliner, a love seat, and a club chair. It has comfortable seating for four. I know what is happening, you texted and told me you had extra friends come over, which is something that is not allowed. It is unfair to say that I didn't have enough seating for your group when the truth is, I didn't have enough living room seating for your group plus the extra people you invited over. Perhaps you are upset that I said that the extra guests were not allowed. I was super nice about it. My furniture is very clear in the pictures of the living room and very accurate. There would have been no reason to "sit on the floor" or have to go upstairs to watch TV unless you had extra visitors there, which you did. I have set up my place for the number of people I have on my listing. You can't expect me to know how many you would invite over. I've never had anyone say that the living room seating was not sufficient or that my home is feet away. I'm saddened that you chose to put these inaccuracies, despite me doing everything I could to make sure you guys were comfortable and even checking you in early, but regardless, I am glad you had a good time!

A Real Gem

Just finished a 2 month stay at the Antler Guest House. Everything about this place is perfect! The location is beautiful, quiet and an easy 20 minutes to Boerne and Comfort. The guest house itself is amazing. I have stayed at quite a few VRBO’s, and this place was by far the cleanest and most well furnished homes I have rented. I do not eat out a lot, so everything I needed for cooking was available and of great quality. Wildlife is abundant and morning coffee and evenings with a glass of wine on the front porch were so enjoyable. Sharon is the perfect host. She communicates enough to know she is available if needed, but gives you the privacy you want. Thank you Sharon for sharing your beautiful guest home with me, and if I am in the Boerne area again, your place will be my first choice.

The Serene and Enjoyable Antler Guesthouse

We just returned from a one week stay at the Antler Guesthouse! It was by far the VRBO we have had - the hosts were exceptional, the home was exceptional. It was comfortable, well appointed, everything we needed for a home away from home. The kitchen was well supplied so that we could make our own meals, sitting on the front porch was a quiet and peaceful, with a few deer and roadrunners scurrying about, our hosts Steve and Sharon were available when we needed them, had good suggestions for restaurants and other things to do in the area, but they left us alone to enjoy our time away. The home is close enough to get groceries (20 minutes) and other things, but far enough away to be out in the hill country. The home is located near the end of a dead end street, so the traffic was minimal. WIFI was great, the view from the front bedroom was quite nice,and there was a carport to park your vehicle to keep it cool from the Texas sun. We are already looking at our calendar to figure the next time we might go back.

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE

It doesn't get any better than this. Sharon is a delightful and responsive host. The house was exactly as represented and pictured. Check-in was a non-event as we just walked in the property when we arrived around 4pm. This is a guest house and the Owners live on the property, but are out of sight. I had no complaints and only 1 suggestion, I recommended a bit larger TV in the living room. On this stay, we never even turned the TV on as we were too busy filming a video at Fletchair Fleet Support. I can't imagine anyone being anything but thrilled. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
