Why Janis Klein chose North Bay Village
The property has an idyllic water view that stretches south to The City of Miami and north to The City of Aventura. Enjoy spectacular sunsets over the water. If that’s the kind of vacation view you’re after, then look no further than Bayshore Yacht and Tennis Club. Enjoy the amenities and more of an expensive hotel without the costs. The views abound and you can purchase and grill delicious freshly caught seafood in the comfort of your own apartment. Lay by the pool until 10pm, BBQ on our pool deck, rent a recreational water vehicle and stop by our 24 hour concierge service with friendly multi-lingual attendants. This property is located on North Beach with wide open beaches, spectacular turquoise waters, and waving palms on the coastline. Although nearby South Beach, this area is less crowded, but more perfect. The pace is more casual, and the vibe is mellow. The area is soothing, restorative. Relax on the peaceful balcony or head east to the sandy beaches or west to the City. Stroll down to the North Beach Bandshell with international Food Trucks and listen to live music in the evenings and on the weekends and soak up the sunshine and ocean breezes. You are centrally located nearby the newest trendy spot in Miami known as MiMo (Miami Modern) which has fabulous architecture with just the right amount of funk. MiMo houses newest bars and amazing unique restaurants. You will be near deep sea fishing, luxury yachts below balcony, speedboats available, dining cruises on Biscayne Bay and sailboat charters. You can hop aboard a boat or rent some equipment for a water sports like jet skiing or paddle boarding. The apartment is newly renovated with new paint and new furniture. The sound proof sliding glass balcony doors allow you to hear the lively bustle of the easily-accessible causeway or close off to silence. You will overlook the "Magic City." Enjoy Direct TV Cable and free WiFi.
What makes this Condo unique
The area has an international flavor with nearby renowned multi-national restaurants: Argentinian, Brazilian, German, Peruvian and Cuban. Presidente Grocery Store is 1/2 mile away. Downstairs from the apartment is a waterfront exercise path and playground for children. There are lots of nearby beach souvenir shops, small boutiques, beach bars and pharmacies. Booked it for the balcony and view
The view was beautiful and the sunsets were amazing. Janis was very helpful when I requested a mattress pad - she immediately bought a brand new one and delivered it. The bed was much comfier after that. We didn't sit on the balcony as often as I hoped because it's not very private. There is only a low wall separating the patio from the occupents next door and the other balconies are close by and visible too. People were often outside smoking. It wasn't always cigarettes either. It's not a smoke free hotel....The parking lot construction blocks access to the foyer so you just have to knock on the door and hope someone is there to let you in when you first check in. The concierge is usually there and is friendly and helpful. Only one elevator was working and even though everyone we saw usually spoke Spanish, we gathered that no-one expects the other elevator to be repaired soon. I just hope their only elevator doesn't quit too. The building and apartment are showing their age. It's not new so I didn't expect it to be spotless and it's a good thing because although this unit was surface cleaned and the bathroom was clean, the rest of the unit really could use a deep cleaning. The view from the shower made up for it all. You can actually watch the city of Miami across the water light up during the sunrise while you shower! Stunning! There's quite a lot of noise from the bridge traffic during the night. We ran the fan and wore earplugs which helped a bit. Whatever you do try not to buy any necessities from the little grocery store on the ground floor of the building. We paid $6.99 for a gallon of milk! The beach, restaurants and main grocery stores are too far away to walk so plan ahead. It's a challenge to find affordable accomodation in Miami and this one comes with easy and free self-parking so this may fit the bill for some people. Next time we'll pay a bit more and stay within walking distance of restaurants and shops.
We are pleased to boast that this apartment is in such demand that it is continuously rented on a regular basis. It's accessibility, location and suitability for international and U.S. visitors keeps our guest-flow continuous. We are local accessible owners who play an active role in our rental procedures and can attend to any questions or requests immediatly.
For our guests to fully brouse...we have posted an abundance of photos of the apartment and the full view of the building from all sides demonstrating what the building looks like as well as all balconies and view. The apartment has hurricane sliding doors which, as indicated in our description, are soundproof eliminating any noise from outside. For our guests ease there is a "convenience store" within the building but, as indicated in our description, a full supermarket is 1/2 mile away. All guests are provided with an electronic key FOB to allow entrance into the building; our concierge service is a courtesy included. All mileage to all amenities, beaches and tourist spots are fully posted in the description so that guests can determine their capability to access via transportation, metro transit, Uber or walking. The nearby budget hotel has a typical rate of $245 per night, which is quite fair for the area, but far in excess of our modest rental fees. We have a No-Smoking policy in our apartment only and a licensed cleaning service who maintains the apartment when guests check in and out.
Great location helpful owner and staff! Loved having coffee with dolphins every morning and watching beautiful sunsets!
Thank you for your kind words, your care of our apartment was deeply appreciated. The dolphins miss you!
LOVELY APARTMENT. VIEW AND LOCATION
Denis an her husband welcomed us upon arrival. The apartment has everything you can ask for and more. We loved the balcony and the view of Miami's skyline as well as the bay. Watching the boats roll in was great. As we also host we have a few constructive comments we would like to say because if guests don't mention them sometimes you don't even notice them. Small things but that can make a little difference. Check your light bulbs as many were burned, no remote control to turn on the living room air conditioning, lovely view from the living room but with clean windows could be better, must leave a key to the front door as we all have our minute of stupidity and the front of the microwave was very greasy. We're sure that both of you can take care of these small things in the blink of an eye. Thank you Denis we really enjoyed our stay at your place. Best regard and all the best, Susan & Cecil
Beautiful view. No parking bad bugs
The view was breath taking. There was not enough parking you have to park in the tennis court and there isn't enough for everyone and if you don't get a spot you will have a ticket the next day. The front yard is torn up and you have to drive thru it to get to the tennis court to park and it messes your car up. The build has bugs they say because the yard is torn up. The bugs are flees ticks and ants. I was covered in bits my whole stay. The condo as nice and I loved the view seen dolphins everyday swimming in the bay
Because of its positive reputation, Bayshore Yacht and Tennis Club is a top recommended apartment leasing facility on all Internet vacation rental sites and promoted heavily on the social media nationally and internationally. This apartment building is located on exclusive Harbor Island surrounding by luxurious million dollar condominiums.
Because of its rental popularity, my apartment is in high demand with a constant flow of pleased guests from all over the world booking through various vacation sites. Except for this one review, all our comments on every site, have been superlative.
As viewers can see from actual photos, the building is on the bay and therefore has no “yard” nor wooded, grassy area where bugs, ticks and fleas are spawned. In fact, considering this apartment is on the 5th floor of the high rise 10 floor building, exposure to insects has never been expressed by any of our guests.
Every employee Bayshore Yacht and Tennis Club is accustomed to professionally servicing countless worldwide guests from rental services all over the world. Therefore, our concierge was alarmed by these negative guest’s loud abusive foul language badgering and disregard for proper decorum during their registration. We have a professional licensed inspected cleaning service used for all apartment stays. This housekeeping service was dismayed to find these guests left a large collection of empty liquor bottles and an aged smelly 5-pound bag of rotten potatoes left decaying under our kitchen sink; leaving the apartment with a pungent odor requiring extreme cleaning.
As indicated on our site, our parking lot is being renovated, therefore rather than halting parking, guests are invited to park on the building’s 2 full-size paved and surfaced tennis courts that are not in service. No guest has ever reported any damage or displeasure from parking on the courts while we await a new parking lot.
We are happy to report all past guests have been pleased with their vacations at our apartment. In fact, many request return stays. Despite this one negative review, we remain focused on continuing to please our guests so that our apartment continues to be a mainstay for all visitors from all parts of the world.
It was perfect for family vacation!
It was clean, nice, and very convenient location. My family and I were so happy to stay here! I can recommended it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It was a pleasure to host Kris and her family. We hope they return soon.
Would stay here again!
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this property. Great view from the balcony (a little traffic noise from the causeway but we still enjoyed the view)! Excellent communication with Janis and when our flight arrived even later than originally expected she was able to leave the key with the concierge (Omar) who was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Since we came in after dark it was a little hard to figure out where to park and also to find where to enter the building. All of this would have been easier if we had arrived earlier in the daylight! The condo was as pictured, and was a great size for the 2 of us. The bed wasn’t great and I did go purchase a pillow after the first night which helped. The area seemed safe for walking which we did daily. Very nice beach but I would say it was probably over 2 miles away which would only be a problem if you were planning to walk there. We had a car and parking was cheap so this wasn’t a problem for us. There were many restaurants nearby and I would recommend Shucker's which was probably only a half mile away! The tennis and basketball courts were being used for parking while we were there (probably because of some construction). Once again, for the price we were very satisfied with our stay!
North Bay Village is historically a haven for vacationers. This area is home to the most popular nightclubs and restaurants of South Florida. Bayshore Yacht and Tennis Club and Harbor Island was once the vacation spot of famous stars Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr and Dean Martin. Beyond the radiant sun, surf and sand, you can discover Miami Beach’s rich history as an entertainment and cultural destination. From world-famous Art Deco architecture to renowned nightclubs to designer fashions, there’s so much going on in Miami Beach. Miami Beach, Florida's picturesque winter playground, has blossomed into a sophisticated community that’s full of visitors no matter the season. Read a book or chat with your travel companion on the edge of the beach. Later, visit museums and take a walk, or a jog, in a park with 360-degree views of the Atlantic Ocean. Shop at your favorite stores and discover unique boutiques with the perfect clothes, accessories, or home goods to take home and remember your trip by. Play eighteen holes at a nearby golf course. The food is spectacular; the seafood caught daily. If you're ready to turn in early after a day at the beach, we understand, but if your night is just starting when the sun goes down, there's a party every night. This location has it all. This area is close to an urban metropolis with all the amenities of a beach-town and a big city, a thriving arts scene in Wynwood (Wynwood Walls) and a busy business center in The City of Miami, surrounded by natural wonderland with turquoise waters and skyscraper palms. This area will provide a dream vacation. The nearby North Shore Park & Youth Center is a state-of-the-art recreational facility provides fun for the whole family. Amenities within the center include a computer lab, fitness center, sky box, a dance room, auditorium with a complete sound system, pristine athletic fields, gymnasium and a world class tennis facility.
