Gateway Grand 502 is a gorgeous south-facing , three bedroom, three bath side unit on 48th Street in Ocean City, Maryland. This deluxe oceanfront building in midtown features sought after amenities such as a large indoor pool, outdoor pool, exercise room, large oceanfront sundeck and more. This condo is decorator furnished and offers luxury and comfort for a fantastic vacation including sizable balcony with ocean and bay views, beautifully appointed living room, fully equipped kitchen with a separate dining area and breakfast bar, and complimentary cable and wifi. Accommodating up to 9 guests, the bed sizes include a king, a queen, a double and single, plus a queen sleep sofa in the living area, if needed. Guests must supply all sheets, towels, paper products and soaps. An optional linen package is available for purchase for this property and would be delivered to the condo on your day of arrival and picked up on your day of departure. The package would include sheet sets for each bed and towel sets equaling the maximum occupancy of the condo.
This owner provides guest access to their storage locker on the mezzanine level, plus a luggage cart which is stored in the laundry for guest's use during their stay. Please note the cart must be returned upon departure or a $200 charge will be incurred.
The Gateway Grand requires a minimum stay of 7 days and rents Saturday to Saturday only in season. The Gateway Grand charges an $151 non-refundable registration/parking fee with reservation.
Non-smoking building except in designated areas. No pets, please. Property owner does not permit group rentals to guests under the age of 25.

Overall great stay

Lots of noticeable carpets stains in most bedrooms and clothes were left in one bedroom from prior rentals Living room sofas and chairs could use good cleaning and food sweeping under sofa prior to arrival would’ve been nice

Not as much bang for your buck

Our family was not as happy with the stay at this property as we were expecting for the amount of money we spent. There were several issues that made the stay unpleasant. For starters the condo was not clean, there were dirty bath mats in all bathrooms, the couches were gross they had a blood stain on one and looked like they had never been cleaned. The hot water kept going in and out throughout the week when we tried to shower or do dishes. Cooking was difficult the oven had something burned on the bottom and smoked up the entire condo. The tub in the one bathroom the drain was broken and the water would not drain. There was a lot of food left in the cabinets. And most annoy of all the nest thermostat was locked half way through the week and it was hot in the condo. We just figured for the amount of money we spent we shouldn’t have had to deal with all these issues. On the other hand it was a great location and close to the beach and entertainment.

The property was not up to the previous condos in Gateway Grand

The kitchen cupboards were worn and ill fitting and one drawer was broken. The walls in the main rooms had black smudges, appearing to be handprints on the walls. There were not enough glassware and the dryer either was malfunctioning or the exhaust vent was plugged because drying a wash took three cycles.

Perfect Getaway!

Lovely week spent with my little ones and hubby. Apartment was extremely comfortable and clean and walking distance to the beach. There was plenty of space for our little family of 5. Amenities on the building were fantastic. Boys enjoyed swimming in the pool and easy access to the beach from the building. Looking forward to coming back. Thanks so much for hosting us.

I enjoyed myself

It's a nice spacious place! I wish we could stay longer because that week flew by. It's right next to the beach with a beautiful view. I will be definitely coming back
