Sit back and enjoy the view of sunsets and moonlit nights along with the privacy! Observe dolphins, sea turtles, and other marine life from this bird’s-eye view of the gulf. A quick trip down the elevator leads you to tropically landscaped beachfront lagoon pools and direct beach access.

The Calypso Resort and Towers is conveniently located on the quiet west end of Panama City Beach. Calypso is adjacent to the County Fishing Pier and directly across from Pier Park, a Simon 'Signature Project', where you will find shopping, restaurants, entertainment, and an outdoor Amphitheater offering free concerts throughout the summer.

Minutes away are other fun family activities including the Gulf World Aquarium, golf and miniature golf, restaurants, shopping, entertainment and much more. The Frank Brown Park Sports Complex is just 1.6 miles (3 minutes) away.

This unit is professionally decorated. The master bedroom has its own private bath, where there is a second full bath for additional guests. There are twin beds in the bunk area and a Queen sleeper sofa in the family room. The fully equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and breakfast bar. Kitchen, entryway, and bathrooms are all tiled. A special feature of this penthouse unit is spacious 9 and 10 foot ceilings.

Sorry NO PETS, NO SMOKING. We do not rent to singles under 25 years old.

A $300 reservation/security deposit will hold your reservation with the rent due 30 days before your arrival. We accept major credit cards (Visa, MC, Amex, Discover) or personal checks. Rentals are weekly during spring/summer months with a Saturday check-in. There is a 3-night minimum stay during other rental periods.

Not an enjoyable trip!!!

Carl was great when booking the condo and everything went smoothly. When we got to the condo dishes were left in the dishwasher . We had towels and sheets left in the dryer. I texted Carl about these things and he said he would ask house keeping. I informed him that I would just put them away no big deal. We then noticed that the Bathroom and Bedroom the air was not coming out of the vents and it was extremely too hot in there to get ready or anything . He acted like it was more of the design of the condo . But my husband has been doing heating and air for over 20 years. and when he looked around and noticed water damage in the other bathroom coming from above and mold in the corners on the base board he told me and I told carl that his duct work must have some damage or damage to the damper this is why there is no air in the back and its so hot in half the condo. But we bought a fan to move the cooler air to the back of the condo.. When I left I informed him of all my concerns. He told me that he was coming down in a few weeks to do some repairs so I'm hoping that these all get fixed. I would also say that is the hardest bed I have ever slept on. My husband one night said he thought the sofa sleeper would feel better. But besides all of that we had a Great Time at the Beach. One of the elevators was stopping and people were getting stuck inside so that was also kind of scary! The calypso use to be one of our favorite places to stay and I'm not sure we can say that now! I think a good cleaning and maintenance would do a world of good. The hallways were extremely dirty by the elevators and the parking garage is a mess. But if you love the beach as much as we do then relax on the beach and enjoy the sun!!

Owner's Response: This review is out of character compared to the remaining 105 5-star reviews and a single 4-star review. We go out of our way to make our guests comfortable before, during and after their stay. We welcome feedback and respond to it appropriately. • The dishes left in the washer were clean and were a result of the previous guest not starting the washer before departure. • Clean bath mats and sheets for the sleeper sofa were left in the dryer. The dryer, as of late, is taking too long to dry and the housekeeper had to leave them drying. The washer/dryer combo is being replaced this week. • It is rare, but elevators do at times experience problems which the association addresses immediately. • I monitor the A/C system health remotely and the system always responds to the temperature set point as long as the condo doors remain closed. • Other issues will be examined on our upcoming visit. Edit: The walkway by the elevators is stained from a maintenance accident while working on the roof. The stains cannot be removed until after peak season as repainting the floor requires shutting down the floor.

Great location.

Beautiful condo and the owner was very responsive! He made sure we had a great stay. It was great being walking distance from Pier Park and the beach was perfect and clean. Overall a great place with a fantastic location!

Beautiful Condo, Beautiful Beach!

The condo was as pictured and very comfortable for myself and two teen daughters. Having two full sized bathrooms is such a bonus. The girls loved the proximity to Pier Park, I loved the beach. Carl was very responsive and easy to work with, answering any questions promptly.

First Class Host with Carl. Amazing Facility and Staff. Excellent Private Beach. A short drive East to Wonderworks, Ripley's Believe it or Not, and about a million putt-putt courses and Go-karts. Calypsos location couldn't be anymore perfect. I'm still in awe of how a resort right in the middle of it all was still able to feel like a resort, I assure you it does. Totally Recommend*****

Wonderful Calypso

We found the condo had terrific views - both north and south. The condo is comfortably furnished with all the utensils and kitchen-ware needed for an extended stay. All manner of shopping and dining is a short walk away, and living right on the beach is our idea of perfect location.

You could not ask for a more understanding and accommodating owner than Carl !
