Hytta ovenpå har 3 soverom og 2 bad. Den vakre nede leiligheten har 2 soverom og 1 bad. Den store bakgården er utmerket til bryllup, grilling og å ha hele familien sammen for en fantastisk tid. Kos deg på brygga og få en flott brunfarge, lek i vannet eller fang deg litt fersk fisk.

Hvis du vil gå på strandkamling, gå en tur i solnedgangen eller ta den neste beste bølgen, er det bare en kort spasertur til stranden. Inne kan du glede deg over alle hjemmets bekvemmeligheter med et pent innredet kjøkken, 5 soverom, utmerket stue og fantastisk utsikt over Bogue Sound! Slapp av i stuen eller de myke plysjsofaene i solrommet mens du nyter lydene, lukten og utsikten mot den maritime kysten.

Great vacay

Perfect location, easy walk to the beach. Loved the pier with beautiful views and fun times fishing. Great pool. Overall great vacation.

House met all of our needs and in a great location on the sound with very short walk to public beach access. Had a minor mechanical issue but the PDL team was very quick to respond and correct the situation which was much appreciated.Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect soundside home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sounds Great! The home is well taken care of, clean, and a great location for a beach trip. The part of the island where the home is located is only three houses wide, with a beach access a couple hundred yards away. We enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets over the sound, and being able to come back to the pool after being on the beachThe house is well stocked in terms of pots and pans, utensils…. Plan to bring your paper products and kitchen staples (oil, salt, pepper…) but otherwise unpack and enjoy.

Cozy sound front

This house is great for a family stay, especially if you have adult children. They have a private apartment downstairs. They have everything you need for cooking and to make coffee.

Nice quick getaway!

Wonderful stay

The house was perfect for a large family with two small kids. We brought our 28ft boat down with us and we’re able to take it out daily with the ease of keeping it on the pier. Everything about our stay was amazing. Perfect house for small kids who love to explore all rooms and cabinets

Husband’s Dream

This house was perfect for my husband’s dream beach trip. He loves to fish and with the house having its own private pier and covering, he was able to fish everyday. He caught his own bait as well. We loved the pool as well. The only con was the downstairs looked bigger in the pics than it actually was. We would book this house again

Great Location

House is very close to the beach access and the dock is awesome for fishing. The house setup is a bit awkward, the downstairs and upstairs is not connected and you have to go outside to get to the washer/dryer (not ideal during a tropical storm). Kitchen is small and needs updating.

Excellent!!

My family and I adored everything about this place! The house was very clean and exactly as advertised. Communication was so easy- we had an issue with a broken umbrella when we arrived to the home and they had someone out with a new one less than 15 minutes after us reaching out!! This house meets all of your water needs with the great pool, private pier right on the sound, and such a fast/easy walk to the beach! I would definitely recommend staying here to anybody!

Excellent Family Vacation Spot

The cottage was clean and comfortable. The downstairs apartment was great for our young adult children. The view of the sound from the back deck was peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed the pool after spending time at the beach which is a very short walk from the cottage. We would definitely recommend this place for a good family vacation spot. The property manager, Joyce was very nice to work with and the maintenance guy Mike was very quick to respond to a slight issue we had and had it resolved right away. We will definitely stay with them again on our next trip to Emerald Isle.

Perfect spot!

My husband, two sons/fiancés, and myself thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is in a perfect place! The beautiful view of the water and sitting out on the pier is very peaceful and relaxing. The beach is right across the street, walking distance. We enjoyed sitting on the Sun porch when it was cool outside because the windows allow you to see outside with a beautiful view. The house cozy, clean, and perfect for a family or a group of friends. The property manager was amazing!!! Great communication, no hassles at all, gave perfect instructions. We hope to stay again next year! SG

Ideal place for family or friends get together

With ideal weather to only enhance our stay, we couldn’t have asked for a nicer vacation home. Five queen bedrooms, one of which had its own bathroom, a dining area to seat 7 or 8, incredible view, our own pier, tons of seating areas all over the house including outdoor areas, a pristine pool—I could go on and on. Fishermen were catching shrimp right at our dock and sold us shrimp at a dollar a pound! We had shrimp scampi one night and shrimp and grits to die for another. We stayed there in the early Fall which made for easy access to the ocean a short walk away, and driving was a snap because hardly any cars were on the road. There are two Dollar General stores one 1.4 miles East and one 2.8 miles west. At both ends of the Isle were Food Lions and Publix.

Family vacation

We usually stay oceanfront while on vacation. We decided to stay here because we liked the options of a private pool, sound-front, and also the ocean. We’re so happy we rented here! The home was very clean and the views of the water are beautiful. Our older kids stayed in the lower level and enjoyed their own space. The walk to the ocean is very short. The pool was clean and used often. We had an air conditioning issue but it was resolved within hours. The maintenance crew is very friendly and prompt. We are already talking about coming back and renting this house again. We only wish there was easier access into the sound from the land or dock. We had a great week, we’ll be back!

Beautiful Location and Home

We had our Vow Renewal Ceremony at this lovely home right on the sound front. This home has it all great view, fishing off of pier, pool, beach across road, privacy, spacious deck, front porch and patio below. Home is very clean, split bedroom plan for extra privacy, well stocked kitchen where I prepared our reception food, enormous sun room which was my favorite place to be with a magnificent sound front view where I could watch dolphins each day. Plenty of out door furniture and pool furniture in great condition. Pool was very clean and well maintained. Property Manager Joyce and her staff was always available for any assistance from the time we made the reservation from the time we left. We loved the home and all it had to offer our stay was perfect and everything we imagined it would be and made a lot of keep sake memories. Thank You for sharing your paradise with us.

Gorgeous sunsets over the sound !

Cute cottage on sound with beach access a short walk across the road and down the neighborhood. The layout is odd but worked well for our group of 3 families. The downstairs apartment area was great for myself, my husband and teenager. My elderly parents took the upstairs master bedroom, and my sister,her husband and teen took the other bedrooms with their own bathroom. There is no interior staircase so the downstairs is only accessed by going outside but it was really no problem. You can enjoy views of the sound from the outside deck or from the comfort of the carolina room with its big windows, comfortable furniture and AC. There is so much space in this cottage! It also comes with a gas grill, a nice washer/dryer and a wonderful pool area. You are right in the middle of the isle so either direction will take you to stores and gas quickly. Would definitely rent again!

Best of both worlds!

What a wonderful time and wonderful place to stay! Our family of 9 (8 adults and one toddler) thoroughly enjoyed our week at Sounds Great. Turns out, we had the best of both worlds being on the Sound and 3 minutes from the ocean! My favorite place was on the dock at the end of the pier...by myself, with a book. In fact, I may have taken a nap there! :) The continual breeze was so refreshing. My 26- yr-old daughter and her two Aussies LOVED fishing from the pier. She and her fiancé brought their kayaks too! My husband LOVED the sun room facing the Sound and spent many hours there reading and napping. Our oldest daughter and her toddler and fiancé said the pool was the best--clean, pretty, well located and convenient, etc The decor was especially fun and colorful, and the kitchen was well stocked. Food Lion was 8 miles away, Dollar General down the street, Aquarium one mile away, and jet ski rental literally a walk down the street. But QUIET and PEACEFUL. Emerald Isle was a pleasure and so relaxing! Our family spent a ton of time on the deck overlooking the pool and the Sound. Yes, the weather was beautiful...but even if it had rained, Sounds Great would have been a great place to hang out with family. The owner Joyce was very responsive to anything we needed...although the place was so well kept that we really needed nothing. (I had asked before we arrived about a crock pot and a high chair...and they were sitting out for me when we got there! Joyce also had provided us with free t-shirts. Those little extras meant a lot.) We WILL BE BACK!! Jay & Lisa Charlotte

Bay side paradise!

We've always stayed ocean front when we can, and this was our first bayside home. But it is located in the narrow part of Emerald Isle, so you're literally just crossing the street and the ocean is basically right there! The pool was awesome the dock was awesome, the walk to the beach was super short! Absolutely we will be back! Some suggestions for the home owners. Additional dishes would be good for the upstairs kitchen. I didnt even check or use the downstairs kitchen so maybe they're all there. Just more bowls and cups. Some TV upgrades needed as the roku devices didnt like the older flat screens very much and were super difficult to select a movie or show as it would double or triple jump with every push of the button. I think 2 different TVs were doing that. It would also be good to have TVs in all the bedrooms. I understand not everyone cares about that, but my family definitely does and room selections were based on the TVs. Last one. The steps on the dock (we rented kayaks and paddleboards) has a missing step that you cant see unless it is low tide and there were long screws sticking out that someone could get really hurt on. We pounded them downward to help, but didnt really have the right tool for the job, so just making you aware of that issue. These are all minor issues does not change my 5 star review! I listed them for others to read to know this was a legit 5 star property. The owner was super friendly and easy to deal with. Great communication!
