When we decided to look for a second home, we looked no further than NOLA. My husband is from the area, we had our first date here, and were married here 6 years later. We wanted a neighborhood that had close proximity to all the city had to offer, that was safer than the French Quarter and where we would have a true New Orleans experience. So if that sounds like what you're looking for- look no further. Our home was completely renovated and completed in Oct. We have worked tirelessly to create a home where we love to visit and you will too. You can walk to City Park, Jazz and Voodoo fest from our house along with Whole Foods, Cafe Degas,Swirl Wine Bar and much more. There is a Streetcar 4 blocks away on Canal, you can rent bikes and use the LaFitte Greenway, or the French Quarter is a quick 5-7 min. Uber ride. Our home is great for singles, couples, groups , or families. There are 3 bedrooms ( 2 with Queen beds and 1 with a king, an airmattress, a couch, and a pack n play for babies and toddlers.) We welcome short or long term stays. If you are visiting for a special occasion or have any special needs we are happy to do our best to accommodate you. We love Nola and hope you will too!

Spacious and comfortable
The area made me a little nervous but the house and garden are beautiful, spacious, comfortable and worth it. It’s very close to all of the attractions and areas we wanted to see.
Awesome Stay! Beautiful home.
Came to NOLA for the first time with my brother, son and a friend to see the Saints. Had a blast from the moment we arrived. Rented a car, but pretty much Uber everywhere! We really didn't care for bourbon street. Went to Frenchmans Street. The bands were amazing, it's where the locals go. The home is beautiful and well stocked. No complaints, and we would definitely recommend this location and home to anyone. Thanks for the opportunity to stay in your home. Who Dat, Go Saints!
we were a family of 7 and the home was very comfortable and gave us a lot of room to spread out. The kitchen was well stocked and bathrooms were clean and had an ample supply of towels and washcloths. I would recommend this home to anyone visiting New Orleans. Close enough to the French Quarter, but far away from noise and traffic.
Kevin and I want to send you Nick a heartfelt thank you. Your home was all we hoped it would be. Became of you our trip was memorable from beginning to end.
We are looking forward to returning next year. Kevin and I would love to rent the house again.
We were a party of seven and stayed at NOLA GEM for four nights. The house was immaculately clean and well decorated. It provided all the accommodations that a family would possibly need for cooking, resting, entertaining, and relaxation. It was so close to everywhere we’d like to visit yet offered a sanctuary from busy and loud city life. Kitchen was well equipped with all the appliances for preparing a gourmet meal. Bathrooms were so modernized that having a cool shower or a warm bath either before or after a busy day truly revitalize your body and soul. No more toss and turn at night when snuggled in soft and comfy bed beneath 12ft high ceiling with state-of-the-art air conditioning system and woke up in every morning completely rejuvenated. Drenching in warm morning sun or cool evening breeze while sipping French coffee or tea under the enormous oak tree on the fenced back yard, all we could hear was chirping of birds. NOLA GEM was indeed a gem embedded in a city full of life and fantasies. Cara was so quick to response and truly kept us worry free throughout the entire trip. Kids left iPad in one of bedroom drawers and Cara immediately made arrangement for shipment. There was so much that city of New Orleans and NOLA GEM could offer and we would be back. Cara, thank you so much for everything!
Great house in a convenient location.
The pictures of this house online don't do it justice. When we opened the front door we were surprised at the size of all the rooms, all the great artwork and the wonderful backyard area.
This house couldn't have a better location. Close to City Park, where we went for a walk or run each morning. I used to live in New Orleans and was pleasantly surprised at all the upgrades to this park. Close enough to walk to the French Quarter on the Lafite Greenway, or an easy, fun Canal Street streetcar ride away. Not too far from the airport. We loved the neighborhood and the fact that you can find parking is a big plus over other, more crowded areas of New Orleans.
Having Whole Foods and Winn Dixie in walking distance are other perks of this location. We found the neighbors welcoming and enjoyed our interactions with them.
This house has plenty of space for three couples to stay together and still have privacy. A large well equipped kitchen and full size dining room give you the option of eating at home. We have stayed in many rental houses, and this is one of our favorites.
