Modern, new fully renovated home in Mid-City. Close to it all!
When we decided to look for a second home, we looked no further than NOLA. My husband is from the area, we had our first date here, and were married here 6 years later. We wanted a neighborhood that had close proximity to all the city had to offer, that was safer than the French Quarter and where we would have a true New Orleans experience. So if that sounds like what you're looking for- look no further. Our home was completely renovated and completed in Oct. We have worked tirelessly to create a home where we love to visit and you will too. You can walk to City Park, Jazz and Voodoo fest from our house along with Whole Foods, Cafe Degas,Swirl Wine Bar and much more. There is a Streetcar 4 blocks away on Canal, you can rent bikes and use the LaFitte Greenway, or the French Quarter is a quick 5-7 min. Uber ride. Our home is great for singles, couples, groups , or families. There are 3 bedrooms ( 2 with Queen beds and 1 with a king, an airmattress, a couch, and a pack n play for babies and toddlers.) We welcome short or long term stays. If you are visiting for a special occasion or have any special needs we are happy to do our best to accommodate you. We love Nola and hope you will too!

Beautiful home in great neighborhood!
My family stayed at Cara & Nick’s home for a week while exploring New Orleans and we loved their place! It’s beautifully decorated, cozy, was large/spacious enough for my family and well-stocked with essentials. Every morning we walked to City Park, were able to walk to Willie Mays chicken, Dooky Chase, Bayou beer garden and just strolled around the scenic neighborhood. We walked to French quarter one day, took about 30mins, but house is also close to the streetcar for access to bourbon st, costs $1.25.. We felt safe and comfortable in the neighborhood, even at night. Friendly, helpful neighbors. Would definitely stay there again, perfect place to be off the beaten tourist path in order to experience a more authentic New Orleans!
Great stay and would do again.
This was a terrific property and we enjoyed the stay. All check in plans went as described. I would say technically this house is walking distance to the French Quarter it is not realistic. I will say it is very affordable to Uber back and forth though.
Great location for NOLA visit
Our stay was Feb.17th to the 23rd. The property was everything we had hoped for and expected. The house was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and there was more than ample linen. The kitchen was well equipped and everything worked well. We can highly recommend the location which was situated in a quiet residential area. The house is conveniently located within a couple of minutes walking distance from 2 bus routes that will take you to the French Quarter. The area appears to be undergoing a continuing process of renovation and recovery from the flooding. We found local people to be friendly and helpful when we asked questions about shopping and attractions to see in NOLA.
Cara and Nick were always responsive and helpful to our inquiries.
Great house- lots of space
This is a great house in a very nice location for seeing NOLA. The house is very roomy and has great appliances. The backyard is very nice with a big live oak tree. The neighborhood is a little rough but in transition. Neighbors were very nice.
Loved the house.
We had a group stay at this house and it was perfect. It’s in a quiet neighborhood and a close drive to Bourbon Street. Such a cute set up and within walking distance of a few things, we went to a cute coffee shop and looked at all of the cool historic homes. I would definitely stay here again!
Perfect location! Fantastic NOLA Gem!!
We had a fabulous time celebrating my 40th birthday. I couldn't have picked and better city and place to call home while we experienced New Orleans for the first time. The house was recently renovated, so it is modern, clean and inviting.
