This adorable coastal cottage is by far the most comfortable and fully equipped vacation rental in the Coastal Bend. Grab a cold drink, sit back and unwind on the big covered front porch or under the outdoor kitchen patio. The long driveway allows plenty of room to park your boat or toy hauler. Ask about booking a guided fishing trip or eco -tour ( skiff or kayak) with the world renowned Captain Dean Thomas owner of Slowride Guide Services. Come stay, fish and play with us. Very nice , wall plug in bathroom does not work , I realize you cant fix it if you don't know about it , bottom of freezer looks like something was thawed out . It wasn't us! lol I really enjoy staying there when we go fishing . We plan an oct trip and I am trying to talk my wife into a kayak trip for a day. Thanks

The house was perfect, the beds are so comfortable. We are planning another stay soon, you are close to an H-E-B and restaurants.

I purchased Happy Hour House in 2015. All of the fish mounts on the walls are replicas from released fish my late husband caught in the Gulf offshore from Port Aransas. The elk mount he harvested on a trip in South Dakota. I have hunted and fished all of my life. I'm proud to have this cozy cottage for anglers and hunters visiting Aransas Pass, Texas.

What makes this property unique

Happy Hour House is perfect for the single traveler, two couples with 3-4 children, or 4 single adults. It is located 5 minutes from Redfish Bay for the best trout and redfish on the Texas Coast. Lighthouse Lake Paddling Trails are 8 minutes from cottage. Kayak enthusiast and anglers from all over the world visit these trails every year. Aransas Pass has 2 marinas at Conn Brown Harbor and San Patricio Navigation Distict. Both are 5 min from the driveway that fits several cars and boat/kayak trailers.
