This house was perfect for our family, I'm so glad we gave it a chance. Lots of updates have been done to it, easy to access, only a few minutes out of town and very quiet. It is stocked with pretty much anything you would need, including extra dvds and board games in the game room. And best of all, it was way more affordable than I ever expected to find in this area. Will definitely be back.

Lots of space to spread out, and pricing was reasonable for a large group. About 30 min away from Copper Mountain, and 15min to Cooper. Overall, the home has a strange layout, like fireplace in a different location than the living space and tv, and the home shows it's age in many of the spaces. It appears that the owners rarely use the place, since some things were in need of repair, and some things weren't as clean as you'd expect. If you need a lot of space at a more reasonable price, and close driving for skiing, this would be a good pick.

Great Leadville 100 home base!

Really great set up and bigger house than the pictures made it seem. Very quiet and in the woods, but less than 3 min to town. Also very easy to get to Outward Bound for your crew.

Perfect location close to town but feels like you have some privacy. Communication was non-existent when asked questions but check in email was easy to follow. Lots of space to spread out. Bathrooms aren't ideal as one is really too small to shower in and Master shares with the hot tub (there is not lock on this bathroom door). Needs more blankets provided for that anount of rooms. Kitchen was well stocked. Would stay again but not with as many people (we had 7).

Great vacation rental!

Beautiful 360 views of snow covered woods. The house was absolutely amazing and specious. It was more room than we needed. I could have spent the whole vacation at the house.

Spring break get away

We enjoyed staying here for our spring break. Close to Ski Cooper and the sledding hill. Great location near town but not downtown. The house backs up to a horse pasture so you didn’t feel like you are on top of your neighbors. While the house is older it was perfect for our needs and great for kids with a tv/game room. The hot tub was fantastic after skiing all day. The Evolve team was very friendly to work with and very helpful with our questions.

Clean & comfortable

The house was clean and conveniently located. We enjoyed the hot tub. It’s very spacious. We really enjoyed the game room. The only things I would recommend would be to update the showerheads, get bigger and heavier, blankets and comforters and add at least 1 extra tv as there is only 1 tv. Thank you

Nice cabin.

We were a group of four old friends staying in Leadville area for a week of climbing, fishing, and friendship. The cabin was a great home base for us. We cooked meals in the kitchen, enjoyed the hot tub after climbs, and enjoyed the rec room foosball. Families with school age kids will especially love the place. Our kids are all now grown, but we also had a great time. Thanks!

Leadville 100 MTN Bike Race Group

We were there for the Leadville 100 MTN bike race. The garage was perfect for working on the bikes and the layout of the house with all of the space was perfect for gathering to discuss strategies, etc.

Now I know how the shire feels

This property brings you out of the loudness of the city to a place of serenity. Could not help but walk outside and take in the fresh mountain air and sun. On top of that the surrounding neighborhood felt friendly and safe. Would love to come back during when the aspens change colors

The location of the property couldn't have been better. Close to town, yet felt very private. It was just a short drive to Turquoise Lake for hiking and watersports. Beautifully surrounded by trees and wildflowers. The house had a ton of character, was very clean and had all we needed. The mattress in the master bedroom was so comfortable! I loved sitting in the comfy living room to have my morning coffee and look out to the picturesque scenery. This place is perfect for family gatherings or just time away with friends. Plenty of room for all.

Needs updating

Excellent location in a mountain subdivision close to downtown Leadville and Ski Cooper. This property however was full of disappointments and was overpriced. (We stayed in other Leadville properties for less with much better accommodations). On arrival the snow had not been shoveled, the cabin had a stale musty smell and we found mouse poop in one of the beds (the gave us a very small refund and changed the sheets). The property is spacious, however extremely choppy with additions. The access to the the hot tub is only through the master, which for a big group is inconvenient. The master shower pan is cracked and spongy. The 3rd bath off the kitchen is so tiny only a child and smaller women can use, the ping pong table was broke, the lights in the garage we’re burnt out and the hot tub was low on water. The kitchen is a galley style, which also for a large group is tight. Overall, this property and furnishings need to be updated and is simply over priced for the quality.

Hi Maria, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We shared your feedback with the homeowner who'd like to clarify the following: - The snow is plowed regularly, and we have a snow removal contract that removes the snow anytime Leadville gets 4 inches or more of snowfall, which is the typical action limit for mountain communities. - This trip was over a holiday weekend which accounted for the slightly higher nightly rate, we're sorry to hear that you were not able to find the value here! - We are deeply sorry about the mouse droppings and immediately responded accordingly. We believe this to be an isolated incident as we take the cleanliness and upkeep of the home very seriously. - We use professional photographers so we can be sure that our images accurately reflect each property and guests can decide before booking if the setup of the home meets their expectations. We do encourage guests to thoroughly review the listing details before booking to ensure that they find the perfect rental for the needs of their group. - We investigated the home after your departure and found the ping pong table to be perfectly functional, and the lights in the garage working properly. The hot tub has a slightly lower water level to accommodate six to eight adults in the tub without overflow. - The furnishings are new and the house has only been available for guests for about 6 months so there is no wear and tear. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to providing future guests with the 5-star service we are known for!

Host was great, location was great and the house size was great. Family rooms were especially nice for a house full of people to spend time in. House could use some updates notably to the master bathroom. Shower was pretty much not able to be used due to setup and water temperature control issues. A solid door between that room and the hot tub would be great to cut the chlorine and must smell out of the master bedroom.

Great house & tons of parking

We loved this house and it was just what we wanted. House was clean with plenty of room & the 2 large living rooms was really nice to separate the kids and adults when needed. An exceptional part of this place for us was the huge amount of parking. We usually bring 1 or 2 18 ft trailers with 4x4s and parking is often difficult. At this place we could easily have parked 3 and 3-4 cars as well. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and the hot tub was a real hit after bouncing the off road trails all day. Now, the house IS listed as non handicap accessible and this is true. I am handicapped and use a wheelchair or scooter to get around but I’m able to walk short distances with canes. There are 2 steps from garage into living room and 2 steps from there to bedrooms & kitchen level. Then 2 steps down to master bath and hot tub. I was able to put my scooter on the bedroom level and move around fine in this roomy area and get to the garage area by foot with no problems. The bathrooms have no safety rails but are generally not hard to use if your able to stand & step 2-3 steps. Again the listing does say NOT ACCESSIBLE but after looking at the photos we took a chance and it worked fine FOR ME. Leadville is over 10,000 ft elevation and we’re flat landers so if you are like us I’d recommend going on Amazon and buying a couple cans of Boost O2 supplement. It really helps especially if you have any breathing issues at altitude. But get it before you come if possible. We forgot and only found 1 can in Leadville, but that was plenty for us. We plan on staying here again. Lots to do.

QUICK TRIP / HUGE HIT!!!

We made a last minute decision to UTV in the mountains. We chose this property and I am glad we did.. The house is huge and spread out nicely. The boys loved the Gaming area, ping pong & foosball table. The hot tub was a hit after being on the mountain all day. The master bedroom is huge.. The area is super quite and beautiful as well. We will be staying here again in the future.. THANK YOU!!!!!
