My family of six visited from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia and spent a week here. We had a wonderful experience! Staying in a renovated church sanctuary was quirky and delightful. The unit was extremely clean... one of the cleanest we've stayed in. The space was quite comfortable. It was also well-stocked with essentials. We were pleasantly surprised with the snacks and coffee station offered by our hosts. For our purposes, the location was convenient to the things that we wanted to do: a day trip to Cooperstown and short excursions to Ithaca and Binghamton.No concerns. Highly recommended!

Graduation weekend!

We booked our graduation weekend stay at this very unique, cute, clean VRBO! This place was beautiful as soon as you walked in. They thought of even little details as k-cups, a few snacks in a basket, creamers, tea, extra bathroom essentials just in case you forgot a toothbrush/tooth paste, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion. I feel like they thought of everything! Those little things really make you feel right at home. A notebook with a little history of the church and area. You won’t be disappointed with this place!

I loved the ambiance this place had. The gorgeous church really made us feel love upon seeing the grandeur upon first entering. We continued to love it with the nice air-conditioning, snacks, coffee, and comfortable beds. I love that the integrity of the church had been maintained in the remodeling, too. The porch with lighting was a nice place to sit with our friends in the evening and chat. Parking was a breeze. Our host was easy to contact and cared about us with each contact. I love that we were far enough from Ithaca and Seneca to avoid exorbitant pricing on a stay, yet close enough for multiple trips to see waterfalls, gorges, breweries, and wineries. We definitely want to stay again and bring our other daughter and our son next time as well! Thank you for this opportunity!

Just as perfect as the photos!

My family of 4 stayed at the Church Mouse Apartment, as it was the closest "decent" place to stay while we visited with my father, who is ill, and lives 30 minutes away, where there are no hotels, rentals, etc. This rental exceeded our expectations on so many levels and made our stay, which was under bad circumstances, enjoyable. This is a beautiful, relaxing place to stay and everyone we met, from the next door homeowner, to the people at Arby's and at Aiello's Restaurant were so friendly. One or our family members stayed for only 3 days and then my sister and her 2 children joined us for the next 3 days. So, we had 6 staying at the same time and there was plenty of room. The property owners thought of everything... we had never stayed away from home in anything other than a hotel, so we didn't know what to expect, but when I tell you they thought of everything, that's no joke! The full kitchen allowed us to prepare a dinner and bring our dad & his wife for the day (so, 8 people at one time & still PLENTY of room). Preparing meals here was more enjoyable than in my own home! Even the spices needed to prepare dinner were readily available and take out containers were provided for us to pack up the leftovers for the ride home (genius!). If I had to be negative about anything, it would just be that sound travels greatly in this building (it actually has great acoustics), so, you can hear every sound. You can't watch tv or converse if someone is trying to sleep. It's great if everyone goes to sleep and wakes up at the same time though. The bedding and towels were all top notch and you can see that a lot of thought and effort were put into making this unit aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. Not only would I recommend staying here to my friends and family but it is my first choice when returning to visit with my dad again! Thank you for providing such a great place to stay!

Enjoyed our recent stay in this beautifully renovated church. The space is large with vaulted ceilings affording much space and comfort. The rental is tastefully decorated and well equipped with multiple spaces to dine and relax. Our young children enjoyed exploring the rental and playing the provided board games. Availability of Keurig coffee pods was an appreciated touch. Note that road noise can be louder inside the upstairs bedrooms and light comes in through the understandably uncovered stained glass windows. This makes sleeping in a bit of a challenge. The downstairs bedroom is somewhat darker, but is open to the central living space so sound travels if anyone else is up and about. All in all, an excellent stay and we hope to return in the future to further explore what the surrounding areas have to offer.

When we first pulled up to this property we were a little worried since it was surrounded by buildings that were a bit run down. It was not of any concern at all - this was a very safe place to stay so don’t let that stop you from this staying at this lovely home. The owners were very responsive and have totally renovated the inside of a beautiful old church. You feel you are in a special space with the wood work, the beautiful stained glass windows and open living area. We enjoyed learning the history of the building from the great information left by the owners. They have created a super comfortable home that was a pleasure to stay in. Great shower, great beds and the whole place was sparkling clean. Kitchen had everything you needed. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We enjoy the stay very much!

20 mins from Greek Peak ski resort. We love the large and open concept of the kitchen and living room. Good space for kids and adult. The house has a lot of thoughful touch. The bathroom is spacious with very nice H20 brand toiletry. Bed room on first floor has a open top design so sound prof is lower.
