If beautiful sound-to-ocean views and pet-friendly (2 dogs max.) suit your taste, then look no further than Memories By The Sea, a 3-bedroom condo in the Windswept Ridge section of The Currituck Club. This roomy condo has views to the north, east and west so it is always bright and sunny.

Beds: 1 King Master, 1 Queen Master, 2 Doubles; 8 Towel Sets provided

ONE LEVEL:
The living area is elegant and contemporary with comfortable seating and a large flat-screen TV. The kitchen is well-stocked and modern to facilitate meal preparation or simply enjoy ordering delivery from a local eatery instead! The kitchen bar counter can seat 3 and the dining table seats 6. A sitting area is next to the dining area. There access to the outside decks through sliding doors and an opportunity to relax on the deck furniture. [Note: gas fireplace is not available for guest use.]

The bedrooms include a King Master Suite with a shower and separate tub in its master bath; this bedroom has deck access too. The Queen Master Suite has a shower/tub combo in its master bath and the bedroom with 2 Double beds can use the hall bathroom (shower/tub combo). All the bedrooms have flat-screen TVs.

EXTRAS:
The elevator is located nearby to provide easy accessibility for guests while the limited number of units in these villas maintains a quiet sense of privacy. Adjacent to this building are tennis/pickleball courts, park-style grills and the Windswept Ridge Community Pool. Guests may also enjoy all the amenities of The Currituck Club such as access to the main community pool, the fitness center, on-site dining at the Clubhouse, seasonal trolley service to the Club's private beach access with beach valet service, tennis/pickleball courts, basketball and volleyball courts, and kid-friendly activities during the summer.

Great experience for our family

We truly enjoyed the condo! The views from our window & decks were great! Condo was clean. Kids & family enjoyed all the amenities. We would love to return!! Plenty of room, even with 4children!

Just Amazing

The pictures are on point and the sunrises in the morning overlooking the ocean is breath taking. The entire community is wonderful. The private beach, you know you are on vacation and all the accommodations are ready for you.

Overachiever!

Memories by the Sea exceeded our expectations! From the tasteful decor to the roominess of the living spaces for our family of six, Memories By the Sea is an overachiever. It accommodated my senior parents with the one floor living layout and the elevator is situated close to the unit. The balcony overlook is the surprise bonus. We loved the golf course view in addition to a view of the ocean in the distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful Property

The condo was very nice, beautiful location, well stocked in the kitchen. The deck was lovely and we appreciated the seating out there. Loved the pools that we used, three of the four. Wish there would have been some beach equipment other than what was there which was in poor shape. Baths were very nice and accommodating to the six of us. We did have ants on the counter when we arrived and unfortunately when we left. Might have been nice to have insect spray in the condo. Also, the swifter mop would have been nice but never having used one I was at a loss. A broom could have helped a lot. We also tried our best to keep the glass table clean but there were NO cleaning products at all! Condo was comfy, couch and red chair could be replaced. The shuttle buses were a perk to go to the pool. Didn’t use it for the beach. Overall we enjoyed our stay and loved the neighborhood!

The cons won

Place is nice but it has a lots of cons. Pros: I must said the location is excellent, near the beach and convenience stores. The parking spots for cars and bikes was a plus and check in was easy, big and spacious enough to accommodate all of us (8) Bikes rides are nice around the property, overall quiet. Having the pool at a walking distance was also a plus. Now I’ll try to summarize de cons. The place looked way better in the pictures, is bit outdated, not welcoming at all. We’re excited to have a porch with the view but we could only enjoy from the inside, since the porch was not prepare to have guests, it looked like it was not clean in years! (dirty chairs/tons of bugs and cobwebs) we were looking forward to enjoy our breakfast/dinner out there but was not a choice. What bothers me the most was the lack of cleanliness of the property, it was terrible! dust everywhere specially the master bedroom where you can see dust on the tv console, side of beds and end tables and baseboards same on the other rooms. The beds were made horrible, the couches look like the people before us just got up and left and nobody bothered to fluff up a bit (!) We were highly disappointed with this place.

Great neighborhood

Beautiful idyllic Carolina beach neighborhood and a well-equipped and family-owned unit. The trolley ride to the beach or pool is an even on its own to tour the development.

Memories by the Sea - May 2021

Very nice, comfortable, and well-equipped condo. Excellent layout for our group of five. Convenient location near shopping, but must drive to the beach. Beach valet services not yet opened for season, but they would not have offered any better options for parking. Glad I didn’t spend $300 for golf cart rental, since it too would offer no help to get people and stuff on beach. Lack of easy beach access is only consideration that would cause me to hesitate in booking a return.

Perfect Corolla Vacation

The property is exactly as pictured in the listing. Beautifully decorated, Very spacious and open, and the large porch was the perfect place to see the sunrise. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need ! We will definitely be back !

Miss the deck and views already!

Great property! Clean, looks just like the pictures, well laid out to allow privacy for 2 couples (1 with kids). Lots of privacy in the unit since it fronts the golf course but is on the second level -- unobstructed ocean views with nobody looking in. The deck was the best - comfortable furniture provided to enjoy the gorgeous ocean view. Well stocked kitchen, nice welcome bag with information for our stay. Easy to reach and convenient to everything in Corolla. Only minor inconveniences is the beach isn't within walking distance -- must drive ~3 miles to the private club lot which doesn't have a lot of parking space. On the PLUS side they offer valet service to assist getting your gear to the beach once there, so they really do try to make it as convenient as possible. We had a terrific time, found it really convenient and relaxing and would gladly return. Thanks!
