Girls getaway

I rented the place for a weekend getaway with 6 friends. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The property is beautiful and so peaceful. Would definitely rent again.

Perfect for a large group

Nice, large property with plenty of room to spread out and relax. While we couldn’t use the fire pit due to a burn ban in the area, the game room, lake and evening chats on the balcony kept us busy. We had a blast!

Chasing Waterfalls

We had a great time! We only found one waterfall in July but we still had an amazing visit to Arkansas. The accommodations were so perfect! The Grandkids loved the beds in the loft. The downstairs shower was large and perfect for my handicapped grandson. I’ll rebook in the spring!

Stellar Stay

We loved this lakefront home. Our favorite spot was the incredible back deck. We sat outside morning and evening, enjoying the birds. We appreciated the kayaks and firepit. We played corn hole and ping pong. It was a bit of a drive to town, but we brought what we needed...and were surprised to find a welcome basket with treats.

Best stay yet! Perfect for our family

The property manager was very helpful and friendly with any questions we had. We gift basket was a nice surprise. Our children did not want to leave. We have children ranging from 9 month olds to 10 yrs old and they was all entertained and happy the whole trip. My husband and I both agreed it felt cozy and had that "at home" feel to it. It was in a quiet area. The deck was amazing!! I loved sitting out on it drinking my coffee and soaking up nature. It truly was a dream weekend for our family. We love the outdoors. My husbands favorite part of the cabin was playing air hockey and basketball with our kids down stairs. It was very clean and well maintained!

Spacious but Neglected Lake House with Multiple Issues

The lake house we rented on Vrbo was spacious, and we appreciated the bird seed box that attracted birds to the porch. However, we encountered several issues during our stay. The seams of the linoleum floor were damaged, making it uncomfortable to walk on without shoes. The upstairs loft had a beam and loft ceiling fan covered in spider webs, along with a spider. The closets, blinds, ceiling fans and tables in the bedrooms were dusty, causing my family to sneeze. The downstairs porch was also covered in spider webs, making it difficult to stand there or play ping pong. The view of the lake is disrupted by the in maintained trees and brush. There was no hose available to clean off the kayaks or the fire pit chairs, both of which were dirty and dusty. At the top of the metal stairs leading to the loft, five metal bolts on the first step scratched my son’s heel. We had to hang a trash bag midway down the spiral staircase to prevent anyone from hitting their head on it. Additionally, the pillow shams in the basement bedroom had long white hair stuck to them, raising concerns about cleanliness. Most of the mattresses were uncomfortable, except for the queen bed on the main floor. The main floor bathroom lacked counter space and could use a small rectangular table. Finally, the lake access had no dock, although there appeared to have been one previously. The property also had overgrown vegetation and fallen trees, with significantly more ground coverage than the neighboring propert

Hi Michelle, this homeowner works hard to provide an ideal stay for all guests, and they would like to clarify the following:-The feedback provided does not align with our established record of guest satisfaction. Over the past two years, we have consistently maintained ratings of four stars or higher, as demonstrated by numerous positive reviews.-In this particular case, the guest initially reached out via text three days before their arrival, indicating they hadn’t noticed our property’s “no pets” policy and requesting to bring their two dogs, identified as emotional support animals. We responded promptly, reiterating our no-pets policy and respectfully declining their request.-On the day of check-in, the guest sent us a screenshot from a different listing labeled “pet-friendly” for a cabin on Lake Ludwig, mistakenly assuming it was ours. We clarified that it was not associated with our property. At that point, the guest offered to pay a surcharge to bring the dogs, which prompted us to contact Evolve, our listing partner, for guidance. Evolve communicated directly with the guest to reinforce that, per our property rules, pets would not be permitted.-Additionally, we hold our property to the highest standards of cleanliness and readiness. Our home is professionally serviced after each guest stay, ensuring that it is thoroughly cleaned, prepared, and inspected for the comfort and enjoyment of all future guests.-We hope this clarifies the matter and reaffirms our commitment to providing a well-maintained, welcoming space for each guest.As highlighted by other guest feedback, the owner consistently delivers exceptional 5-star experiences. We are confident they will maintain this high standard moving forward.

The serenity of this home was everything we wanted and more!

Couldn't have asked for a better stay, far enough away to get some quiet and enjoy the outdoors, but close enough to enjoy some of the area with our kids! Clean, plenty of room, and just all around fun to stay at! Hosts were amazing and just the sweetest people to meet! The basket of goodies was amazing to find! We'll be back for sure!
