Enjoyed long fall weekend here with family who were in area for a wedding. House had plenty of space, comfortable beds, nice decks. Owner was responsive.

Excellent Location!!

The property was very clean. We had a total of 8 people and still had room for 2 more. Location was excellent !! Property has beach chairs wagon and boogie boards if anyone is traveling from a long distance. Will definitely come back.....

Excellent location and easy access to amenities and attractions. Easy access to the beach and our granddaughters love the hot tub! Upper and lower levels ensured everyone had plenty privacy and comfort in their own spaces. Will most definitely look into staying here again in the future.

Spring Break for the kids

Great spring break for the little ones. Conveniently located close to the beach so the trip is walkable, even carrying all your toys. Event the trip Food Lion is very doable. House was very clean, presentable and updated. Great stay this week!

Early summer vacation

Arrival was easy for everyone and the house was immaculate! Nice views from the pub chairs on the 2nd level and chaise lounges up top. Very restful and reasonably quiet area, noise from kids in a nearby pool not a problem. Great location and an excellent experience!

Love this property!!

This property is wildly accommodating!!! The walk to the beach is very short. It EASILY housed many people. They owner was great as well. He let us keep the cars parked in the driveway for our last day of fun while the cleaners worked. He also allowed for early check in. We would stay here again!!

Great House!

Great vacation house- ideal for a family vacation. Clean and well stocked! Plenty of seating for lounging and eating. Definitely a step above any other rental- super soft sheets, thick, absorbent towels, plenty of pillows and extra blankets. Great decorations, attention to details, and extras- games, boogie boards, giant beach wagon, beach toys- had everything we needed. Less than a minute walk to the beach. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

New Year's Eve Stay

We met up with long time family friends for the end of the year and have never been to Emerald Isle. This home has been nicely renovated. It's bright and cozy and was spacious enough for the 10 of us to gather all together and not be crowded. Great location to the beach with ocean views and listening to the waves. Perfect Beach Rental

Everything was perfect. Close walking access to the beach. Everything else was within a short driving distance. Loved relaxing in the hot tub. Loved sitting out on the deck first thing in the morning drinking coffee/tea, eating breakfast and making our plans for the day. Our grandchildren loved the adorable bunk beds and playing with the availables games. We will definitely stay again.

Beautiful Views and Relaxation!

We checked in for Labor Day weekend and loved every second of our stay! This location is the perfect distance from the sand (about a 1-2 minute walk from your bedroom), and has so many amazing amenities! From the hot tub to the incredible upscale décor inside, and the third floor deck overseeing all of Emerald Isle... this is the place to be!! 10/10 will be returning. Our hosts, Lori and Matt, were awesome!

Summer 2025 Family Vacay

We had an amazing stay at The Sandbar on Emerald Isle from July 13th–19th. The house was spotless and extremely well-stocked with everything we needed—from household items to beach gear—which made our stay comfortable and convenient. The location was spot on—just a short walk to the beach and close to shops, restaurants, and ice cream, which made it easy to enjoy everything Emerald Isle has to offer.Matt, the owner, was fantastic to work with—friendly, responsive, and accommodating. He even worked with us to allow an early check-in, which gave us an extra full day to start enjoying our vacation. The home was perfect for our family and made for a relaxing, memorable trip that we’ll cherish for years to come. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back again!
