Immerse yourself in the soothing sounds of the Atlantic, just steps from your door. Recently remodeled (2017-2019), "WaitnSea" features a stylish and functional interior. The open dining and living spaces showcase a gorgeous white kitchen with granite countertops and updated appliances, complemented by a calming neutral décor and continuous LVP flooring. Thoughtfully furnished throughout, the home provides both comfort and elegance.

The layout includes a convenient first-level bedroom and full bathroom. Upstairs, you'll find three additional comfortable bedrooms, including two oceanfront rooms with direct access to the expansive upper-level covered deck. Imagine unwinding each evening with breathtaking ocean vistas. A second full bathroom is also located on this level.

Enjoy the coastal breeze and stunning scenery from two levels of covered oceanfront decks – ideal for morning coffee, afternoon relaxation, or evening stargazing. Situated in the quiet Shell Cove neighborhood, "WaitnSea" offers a peaceful ambiance while providing easy access to local conveniences. Located directly across from the NC Wildlife public boat ramp, it's a prime spot for boating enthusiasts. Enjoy daily walks (or rent bikes for your visit from a local shop for leisurely bike rides) along the Emerald Isle bike path that connects you to the shops, restaurants, and amenities of the town center.

Welcoming Your Well-Behaved Dogs:

Up to two well-behaved dogs may join your stay for an additional fee ($150 for the first dog, $75 for the second). We ask that you crate your dog if left unattended, ensure all waste is properly disposed of, and keep them off of the furniture, beds and the dunes. In accordance with local regulations, dogs must be leashed at all times.

Lovely relaxing getaway. Our second time renting this property for family vacation. Love the beachfront porches and rocking chairs. Well equipped kitchen--I cooked for 3 kids and four adults every night. Outdoor shower super helpful. Never tired of the view.

The communication was five star! We had a couple of questions during our day which were responded to ASAP and with kindness. This place has all the dishes and utensils you need, it even had happy birthday decorations, which we enjoyed if the owner here also has a closet with extra supplies and even a kite, which we also enjoyed, wrapped up and put back in the closet. The open floor plan allowed plenty of space for our giant playpen. Tons of beach chairs, washer and dryer, including detergent and dryer sheets were ready and waiting for us. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Welcome to "WaitnSea," our little slice of paradise on beautiful Emerald Isle on the "Crystal Coast"! Our families' love affair with this enchanting beach stretches back over five decades. Growing up in Winston-Salem, siblings Bryan and Beth spent countless summers here with their extended family, creating cherished memories that have lasted a lifetime.

It wasn't long after we met our amazing spouses – Mandy, who hails from England, and David, a proud Ohioan – that we introduced them to the magic of Emerald Isle. They were instantly captivated, just like we were!

Over the years, this special place has been the backdrop for so many wonderful moments: sandy toes and giggling kids, refreshing dips in the sparkling ocean, peaceful beach strolls at sunrise and sunset, dolphin watching, charming antique finds in nearby Swansboro, delicious local eats, and breezy boat rides on the sound. The list of things we adore about Emerald Isle goes on and on – but the soothing rhythm of the waves crashing on the shore will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Now based in Raleigh, NC, when we're not soaking up the coastal charm ourselves, we're thrilled to share our treasured "WaitnSea" with you. We've poured our hearts into making it a welcoming and comfortable retreat for you and yours, and we sincerely hope you fall in love with Emerald Isle just as much as we have!

What makes this property unique

There are no homes on either side of this property, so the view is unobstructed! Also, because the home faces south, you get to see beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the comfort of the decks or on your beach walks!
