Perfect getaway on beautiful island <br>

“Blue Water Cottage” is a family owned 4-season cottage, provides comfortable living in the wild. It’s located on Deer Island at Honey harbour with deep clean and water. 1.5 hours drive from Toronto and about short 6 minutes boat ride from marina.
Cottage has 320ft long waterfront with breath taking view just like the Group of Seven’s art, large private dock for you to swim off, to dock your boat, fishing, kayaking and chairs, umbrellas for you to relax under the sun.
Cottage has spacious 1500sqft, clean, bright and airy:
•Great room area has cathedral ceiling with huge windows facing lake.
•Bedroom #1 --Master king bedroom with ensuite 3-piece bathroom.
•Bedroom #2 has 1 queen bed
•Bedroom #3 on loft, with two queen beds, share 2nd full bathroom with bedroom #2
•Open concept dinning and kitchen area, well equipped for you to prepare and enjoy meals with friends and family. Includes fridge, microwave, toaster, blender, gas stove/oven, rice cooker, water kettle, coffee maker, cooking wares, dishes, utensils, paper towels, dish soap, potable dishwasher. IMPORTANTLY: we have filtered drinkable water. We provide salt, paper & some basic seasonings, coffee and tea.
•Large dock wrap around the front of cottage, has dining table with umbrella and gas BBQ, chairs and hammock.
•We provide blankets, pillows, linens and towels.
•Also cottage has washer/dryer, detergent, iron and vacuum. Also has smart TV, board games, books and magazines.
•There’s a gas power generator, so you will not experience power outage at cottage.

Guests can access the whole property and you can use 2 kayaks, 1 SUP, 2 finishing rods, floating pad, noodles, adult size life jackets. For younger guests, please bring your own properly fitted life jackets.

How to get there:
Drive to Honey Harbour and park your car at Village Marina or Honey Harbor Boat Club Marina, parking cost is around $10-12 per day per car. Then take water taxi from marina, cottage is only 6 minutes boat ride away.

Water taxi information: Harbor Water Taxi (705)528 2539; Glenn Funston – (705)297 6787; Honey Harbor Boat Club – (705)756 2411. Taxi cost is about $60+ per ride, please call to arrange pickup time and to confirm the price with service providers, it maybe varies due to time, weather.

If you bring your own boat , you can launch it at marinas, call marinas to arrange launch time in advance and to confirm launching cost. Please consider marina’s operating hours (9-5) when you plan your arrival time, most marina will close for boat launching after regular hours. With your boat, you can explore Georgian Bay thirty thousand islands the world biggest freshwater archipelago, Georgian Bay Islands National Park is just minutes boat ride away from our cottage.

Fantastic spot

We had an awesome time at this cottage. Our dog was in heaven and the water is amazing. The cottage was perfect, clean, bright and had all the amenities needed for a quiet getaway!

Beautiful Cottage

This was a lovely cottage with everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The hosts were helpful, friendly, and it truly feels like you are their guests. Our family loved the waterfront and how private the cottage felt. The cottage itself was beautiful and exceeded our expectations in every way. We hope to make it a yearly trip as a family.

Georgian Bay beauty!

I was excited to show my family Honey Harbour and Georgian Bay and this cottage was the perfect place to do that. A short boat ride from Honey Harbour got us to the cottage that was nestled in a bay. We could easily boat around Deer island over to Beausolie National park and more. We enjoyed the little beach right at the cottage for swimming and kayaking. The cottage was just as it showed online and had everthing we needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you to our hosts it was a great vacation.

Family vacation

My family of five and I stayed at Roy and Tracy‘s cottage on deer Island for a weeks vacation. The location of the cottage is right on the water and has the most amazing view of Georgian Bay. The cottage was really clean and had a lot to offer. They provided 2 kayaks, a paddleboard, a floating pad and other fun stuff you could use in the water. Tracy and Roy were really helpful and easy to get in touch with. I would highly recommend this place for a vacation spot.

Fantastic!

The house… 10/10 The property… 10/10 The location… 10/10 The amenities… 10/10 Cleanliness… 10/10 Perfect spot for dogs & kids… 10/10 Snakes…. 0/10 (this was a non-issue for everybody in our group except for me as I have a snake phobia so if you do too, this wouldn’t be the property for you). A truly fabulous spot for a weeks vacation and 100% recommend! Thank you Tracy!

Lovely getaway island cottage

Overall a beautiful cottage with water activities such as paddleboard and kayaks. Great swimming. Cottage was spotless. Well stocked kitchen. Drawbacks were #1. the numerous steps up to the cottage( but keeps you fit), and #2.the two beds in the loft were not comfortable for adults. But the view, the location to the many bays in the area by kayak, and the pleasure of watching boats cruise by at a distance, made the experience so enjoyable. Hope to come back!!

Hidden gem in Honey Harbour

We adored our week at this gorgeous and restful vacation home. The location on the bay was perfect for swimming and enjoying the boat traffic. The cottage was lovely and had everything imaginable that you’d need. Tracy was an excellent host who responded quickly and efficiently when needed. The only drawback was the cost of water taxis. It prohibited us from leaving the cottage at all for the week. That’s not anything to do with the cottage or hosts, but something I would further research if we return next year / which we would very much like to do !

Beautiful lake house vacation

The lake house on Deer Island is amazing. Easy to get to from the mainland, the dock is in excellent condition with kayaks and all the other necessities you’ll want to enjoy your time on the water. The house itself is nestled away from the shoreline and perched up on a hill, giving you a beautiful view of the lake through the treetops. The floor to ceiling windows in the main living area provide sunlight and stunning views of nature all day long. Very private setting. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Modern kitchen and appliances, as well as a washer and dryer. The bedrooms and bathrooms are modern, but with a cozy cottage feel. The owners were gracious and very helpful. This is a cottage perfect for families and friends!
