Snug Harbour View #8 is a charming 2 bedroom, 2 bath, second floor canal front condo in a peaceful residential enclave off Grand Cayman’s Seven Mile Beach Corridor.

Recently renovated in January 2023, it features new appliances, modern fixtures, and contemporary furnishings for a fresh, comfortable stay just minutes from the island’s best beaches, dining, shopping, and nightlife.

Typically about a 10–15 minute drive from Owen Roberts International Airport in George Town, it offers a canal front pool, private dock, and easy access to North Sound by boat—an ideal base for couples, solo travelers, or remote workers who want a quiet home close to the action.

• The property’s canal front setting gives you quiet water views and breezes while still being only a short walk or quick drive from the famous Seven Mile Beach shoreline.

DOCK & WATER GEAR NOTICE

Guests are welcome to enjoy the canal front setting, but please note there is no ladder or steps on the dock. This means getting a paddleboard or other gear up from the water onto the dock can be challenging and may require good balance and strength. Most of the time the canal is calm for paddling, with occasional boat traffic passing through. Paddleboarding or using any watercraft from the dock is strictly at your own risk, and the owner/management cannot be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury.

CONVENIENT LOCATION

• Located on Palm Heights Drive in the Snug Harbour area, in the heart of the Seven Mile Beach corridor.

• The world famous Seven Mile Beach is roughly a 15 minute walk or about a 5 minute drive away (depending on traffic and exact beach access point).

• Camana Bay, with its shops, cinema, restaurants, and waterfront promenade, is about a 15–20 minute walk or 5–7 minute drive.

• A car is recommended for maximum flexibility, but guests who enjoy walking will appreciate being able to reach many restaurants, bars, and beach spots on foot.

Snug Harbour View is ideal for guests who want a quiet, residential feel but still be within a short walk or quick drive of the Seven Mile Beach corridor’s restaurants, bars, and cafés. It works especially well for:

• Couples or solo travelers who like to walk to dinner and drinks.

• Remote workers or longer stay guests who want easy grocery access and plenty of dining variety.

• Beach goers who plan to mix self catering with eating out most nights.

WALKING DISTANCE OPTIONS (APPROX. 10–20 MINUTES ON FOOT)

From Snug Harbour (Palm Heights Drive), guests can walk out to West Bay Road and reach a variety of casual and mid range spots along the Seven Mile Beach corridor:

• Coconut Joe’s – About 15–20 minutes on foot; laid back open air spot for burgers, local dishes, and cocktails right on West Bay Road.

• Peppers Bar & Grill – Roughly 15–20 minutes’ walk; popular for jerk and BBQ, grilled meats, and a lively bar scene in the evenings.

• Chicken! Chicken! – Around 15–20 minutes’ walk; casual counter service with excellent rotisserie and jerk chicken, great for takeout back to the condo.

• Island Naturals (The Grove) – Walkable with a slightly longer stroll or a very short drive; good for smoothies, vegetarian/vegan options, and healthier breakfasts or lunches.

These make it easy for guests who don’t always want to drive at night but are comfortable with a 15–20 minute stroll.

SHORT DRIVE – SEVEN MILE BEACH & CAMANA BAY (APPROX. 5–10 MINUTES)

Within about a 5–10 minute drive, guests have dozens of options from casual to upscale along Seven Mile Beach and at Camana Bay:

• Peppers, Coconut Joe’s, XQ’s Pizza Bar & Grill – Casual, family friendly spots for grilled meats, pizzas, burgers, and cocktails.

• Casa 43 Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Bar – Lively local favorite for creative Mexican dishes and an extensive tequila list.

• Macabuca & Cracked Conch (West Bay) – Roughly 10–15 minutes’ drive; casual tiki bar vibes at Macabuca and more upscale Caribbean fusion at Cracked Conch, both right on the water and great at sunset.

• Ristorante Pappagallo (West Bay) – About 15–20 minutes away; destination Italian restaurant by a bird sanctuary with a romantic, special occasion feel.

• Calypso Grill (Morgan’s Harbour) – Similar 15–20 minute range; colorful waterfront setting, excellent seafood, famous sticky toffee pudding.

• The Wharf (George Town) – Around 10–15 minutes by car toward George Town; classic oceanfront restaurant on the water’s edge

Nearby activities include beach days on Seven Mile, shopping and events at Camana Bay, and easy access by car or tour to island highlights like Stingray City, the Turtle Centre, and Dolphin attractions. GROCERIES, SUNDAY CLOSURES & PRACTICAL DETAILS

Foster's and Kirk Market supermarkets are short drives away and offer all the necessary food and supplies as well as a large array of international food.

Supermarkets are closed on Sundays in Cayman, though most restaurants and gas stations remain open, and some gas stations sell liquor on Sundays. Grocery items can also be pre-ordered and delivered before arrival.

TRANSPORTATION

• A rental car is highly recommended for this area so guests can easily explore Grand Cayman at their own pace.

• Many guests book directly with trusted local providers such as Marshall’s Rent-A-Car, Andy's Rent-A-Car, or compare options through Kayak.

• Due to limited public transportation in East End, having a car offers the greatest convenience and flexibility.

PROMOTIONS

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT

After booking, you’ll receive detailed arrival information by email, and your unique door code before arrival.

Check in is any time after 4:00 PM with keyless entry; early check in may be possible depending on cleaning schedules and can be confirmed with the property manager closer to arrival.

Check out is self service at 11:00 AM, with clear instructions provided; late check out is only available if pre arranged, as time is needed to prepare for incoming guests.

Beautiful location & condo was perfect.My husband had an unfortunate fall on the deck which limited what we could do but it meant we spent more time at the condo relaxing to the peaceful sound of the canal.

Beautiful property

Lovely property with an amazing outside view. After a long day at the beach sitting outside in the screened in back porch is this best way to relax.

Great spot for the family

Upon moving to Cayman with my family, we found this was a great location and size for the first month as we got settled. There was staff onsite a couple times per week and she was always helpful. It’s a quiet location with nice pool and great screened patio. The rooms were a bit dated and musty smelling, but overall good value considering the average cost of accommodation in this area.

Fantastic property. Very clean, quiet, and peaceful setting. We would highly recommend staying here. Would definitely recommend having a car if you stay here as the walk is quite long and there’s no nearby convenient store - walking 30 minutes from the closest shop with food and water was very difficult. Could do with more instructions on how appliances work, WiFi, and taxi numbers in the welcome book as currently it just gives you restaurant and beach recommendations.

Enjoyable time in a great place

Comfortable. Nice location for a quiet and relaxing stay. Shelley checked in on us. She found a bar pan to bake with. Seven mile beach just a 10-15 minute walk. Easy access to all the attractions in Georgetown and the west side. It needs some better knifes for cutting and some grill tools. It is perfect for 2 couples. The screened in lanai was the best to sit in at night.

Absolutely Perfect

We would absolutely stay here again. tucked away in the back of a quiet nighborhood with easy access to Caymana Bay, Georgetown and West Bay. Unit was exactly as the pictures and description stated. Beds were very comfortable, AMAZING showers, and lovely bug free screened in deck!! Fully stocked with everything we needed and MORE. Communication was fast, easy and super friendly!! Shelly was SUPER nice and we enjoyed talking to her. Thank you!!!

There are a lot of positive things about this property- it is clean, great view of water, big screened patio, lots of towels. I would recommend four beach chairs (not three) and a small cooler. I would recommend upgrading knifes in kitchen and adding a few more basic items such as a strainer and extra storage containers. I would also leave extra items like Foster bags so when a guest goes to the store the first time you are not surprised you need to buy them. I would add a few more pictures to give it a more comfortable feel. I would also add a vacuum, especially a portable one as we had to sweep out of car before returning it to the rental company for our days at the beach. Those are just recommendations as the property was clean and safe.
