Great house!

Great porch! Just a few blocks away from shops and the beach. Fun fitness park for kids just a few blocks away. We loved our stay at this house.

Adorable old cottage close to everything

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay in the cottage and on Catalina Island. The cottage itself is very charming and cozy, and well maintained. We were surprised how noisy the area is though given that there are few cars on the island. The golf carts come flying down the street!

Amazing cottage on Sumner

  • 5 of 5

What a perfect vacation house. It had everything we needed. The decor was so beachy and fun. The kitchen had everything we needed. We used the wagon provided to get groceries. The location is perfect. We had one repair issue, the shower curtain rod, and it was remedied quickly. The showers had lots of hot water.

We spent a lot of our time at the house on the wonderful front porch. There's also a back patio with a table and Weber grill.

We'll be coming back!

Super cute beach house!

  • 5 of 5

This house was perfect for our weekend stay! We had 6 girls for a beach getaway, bachelorette party and this house met my expectations and beyond. It had everything you could need and was located right up the street from bars, restaurants and shops, just a 5 minute walk. My personal favorite was the waterfall shower! We even had a cat that would come chill with us on the front porch in the evenings, which was "purrfect" for us cat lovers! The front porch was great for having breakfast in the mornings and sitting and chatting in the evenings. I definitely recommend this house and will hopefully get to go back one day!

Catalina Vacation

  • 3 of 5

The Sumner house has some great amenities, upgraded bedrooms, master bath, kitchen and very nice living room but it was hot while we were there and without air conditioning or adequate air circulation (ceiling fans) it was uncomfortable during the day. We had to open every window, that could be opened, and use the one area fan that didn't make noise. It appears the owners are in the process of upgrading the unit and adding AC or ceiling fans would be my next to do item (I understand that the ceiling lights are probably antiques, but). I also should mention that it would be much nicer if the washer and dryer were inside the house. There is a very nice mud room off the back of the house that is more than roomy enough to install the washer and dryer in that area vice outside in a tight little shed. The steps out the back door are very steep and make it almost hazardous to negotiate with a load of clothes in your arms. All of the beach stuff was very nice to have too as was the very nice porch on the front of the house (very comfortable).

Bright cozy beach house, close to everything.

  • 5 of 5

Perfect place for a girlfriend weekend in Avalon. We spent most of our time on the porch, when we were at the house, with coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. Great location, within walking distance to bay. House has the charm of Old Avalon. We loved our stay. Vacation/property management service what smooth and efficient.
