Greast place to stay

We loved this place. Very close to beaches and downtown Venice. It is a beautiful neighborhood great for taking walks. There is a private beach (Golden Beach) that is only for the neighborhood and it is very peaceful and quiet. Excellent location and cute, comfortable rental.

Golden Beach Haven

This is our second year staying here and some of the same things from our first stay have not been addressed. Upon arrival the floor mats in the bathroom were disgusting. My wife immediately washed them as she did the year prior. There is no pull tab for the closet light in the bedroom closet (same as last year). Shelf paper in the kitchen drawers would be a good touch. The location is great and it works well for just my wife and I and our dog. The weather the first half of January was brutally bad (not your fault), so if we stay again we would be looking more like the last two weeks of January.

Great location! Walking distance and easy access to downtown, the beach, dog beach, parks and Publix. Suggest leaving more bathroom soap and shampoo. We thought there was a Keurig. Instead it was a coffee machine that required special coffee pods. Cleanliness could have been much better. LR looked dirty. Refrigerator on the outside needed to be wiped down. Suggest leaving directions on TV usage. TV in bedroom did not work. Some spiders were visible. Overall it was good.

The house is absolutely beautiful - the porch is lovely and our dog loved the back yard. Glad we could bring him. The floors were filthy - the first day I walked barefoot and my feet were black!! An ironing board but no iron - It took several days to get the TV to work and we are not used to streaming....Bedroom TV never worked. Radio did not work. Bed not the most comfy and high to get out of. However, impressive that a duplex and we couldn't hear anything - it is certainly well supplied! BUT, we will not come back - much more expensive than where we used to stay on Longboat (damaged by the hurricanes)
