Great place

Family was very happy with the place. It has everything you could ask for when travelling with kids. One tip for other renters, be careful parking on the driveway. Low rise cars will have issues with the slope.

Enjoyable stay

The house is nice, the neighborhood is nice. Only reason to knock off a star is the house needs a deep cleaning. Other than that, great house and location.

Stay to Play

Property was perfect space for what we needed. Host was extremely accommodating. We were in town to play in a local football tournament and this property was perfect for hosting families with kids!

The house was clean on the surface but could use a deep cleaning. Blinds, ceiling fans, woodwork were all very dusty. Outside area was full of dead leaves. Even the house rules book could use a wipe down or be replaced. The house itself is a little worn down but serve it’s purpose. The pool with heat was a nice asset for our grandson. Thank you for the wine and sharing your home with us.

Just as advertised!

Great place for a family. Games, pool toys. Stocked Kitchen, Close to everything we wanted to do. Would suggest lamps and 2nd nightstand in main bedroom, but we had a blast. Thanks to host for sharing your home.

Amazing vacay in San Diego!

My family of 4 (husband, 10 and 7 y/o boys) and my sister's family of 3 (sister, BIL, 3 y/o girl) all stayed at this amazing house for our spring break trip to San Diego. The house was spacious, well appointed and has a gorgeous backyard with a firepit and heated pool. The main floor has two living areas, each with their own TVs, one powder bathroom, a dining room and kitchen. The appliances work well and the owners have left a lot of dishes/pots/pans/appliances, its really convenient to make your own meals. We even did our easter meal here! The upstairs has 4 bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The only downside to the upstairs layout is the master suite has 1 full bath attached to it, leaving the other 3 bedrooms to share the other bathroom most of the time. The back yard has a gorgeous patio with a fire pit (we did smores almost every night!) and a heated pool. The house itself is very conveniently located to the zoo, the beach, seaworld and not too far of a drive to legoland and the safari park. We never really had to deal with traffic, it was really nice! We had a fantastic vacation and would stay here again in a heartbeat! I highly recommend this rental!!!

Great place!

Really loved the pool - heated made it perfect for slightly chilly early March days. Lots of space, great place. Could use some updated pots/pans and nightstands by the bed, but everything was comfy and I'd gladly book again.

So much fun!!

We had a wonderful time! The home was clean, the beds were comfortable and the kids had a blast in the pool and the hot tub was lovely. I definitely appreciated that there was a gate around the pool to keep the littles out.

The property was wonderful very clean and in good condition. The manager got back to us immediately about any questions we had. Most everything you need to know is included in the white book on the table. The only thing you need to do is make sure you have something you can use to start the outside fire pit like matches or lighter to get it started. Everything else was fabulous.

Oldie but goodie

This is an older, loved home. There is wear and tear, but things are functional. We loved the location! 20 min or less to just about everything! Pool/hot tub (once you figure out the levers to heat each appropriately) are an amazing experience. Quiet and private. Beds and pillows are comfortable but firm. If we return to San Diego with the entire family, we would stay here again!

Great Stay

We enjoyed the house and location for our family vacation. The house was perfect for our party of 6 people. Ample room for everyone. Nice pool and outdoor area. Easy location to get to and from all the great places we went to in the San Diego area. Easy check-in/check-out.

Good place to enjoy San Diego

We love San Diego , The house is a central location so easy to go everywhere. Perfect size for families. Backyard is our favorite place we made s'mores almost every night.

Sejour super sympa

Belle villa, conforme à la description, belles chambres. Bien située par rapport à tout ce qu'il y a voir aux alentours. Piscine un peu fraîche à notre goût. Une suggestion : pas assez de vaisselle pour 7, de verres à pieds pour le vin, de couverts et poêles vieillissantes. Échanges avec l'hôte par emails et sms: très bien, livret d'accueil dans la villa avec beaucoup de détails

Great house in central location

Very large house - all bedrooms upstairs and big living space downstairs. The pool was great, the firepit was gas and easy to light, and we were only about 10 minutes from Pacific Beach.

Family vacation

Great property in an awesome location. It was so nice to come home to air conditioning after a long day in the sun. The house has everything you need to be comfortable and relaxed. The house did have a few ants that is my only complaint. We would return for sure.

Great Backyard

Great back yard. Run down neighborhood. Not the owners fault, but wouldn’t feel comfortable taking a walk around at night. Kitchen needs a remodel, adult forks and new fry pans. Difficult lighting in master since light is not connected to switch.

Overall good place in a nice location

Overall a good place to stay, but this house did have some drawbacks. Overall cleanliness could be better (dishwasher and fridge specifically). Only allotting two trash bags for the kitchen trash was kind of annoying. Running out of hand soap in the downstairs bathroom on the second day of our stay was also not great. The shower head in the upstairs (not the master), is so low that adults have to bend down or lean your head really far back to wash hair. Plus, the three knobs in the shower was super confusing at first. The beds and pillows were more firm than we would have liked. On the plus side, The neighborhood was very nice and quiet and felt very safe. The pool was a big hit for the three children on this trip. We had a group of 8 and had plenty of room in the house. We did pay extra for pool heating, but failed to read the entirety of the house manual and assumed the pool heat was turned on prior to our visit. Turns out, we needed to turn it up ourselves, so we didn’t get to experience the heated pool until the last night. Still enjoyed it and ultimately it’s our fault for not reading everything, but more clear communication to read the home manual for these instructions would have been nice.

Absolutely perfect!

Very clean, spacious and comfortable. House was perfect. The pool and pool area were a great spot to hang out and relax. The kitchen had everything we could possible need. Locate close to most things we were looking to see. I loved the hosts book that had everything you might need to know about the house and the surrounding area. Host had games and beach toys for us to borrow. Thank you for the use of your home.

Paradise vaca

Love the location of this house it was ideal for everything we wanted to do. The pool was a hit and I appreciated it didn't cost an arm and leg to heat. I also loved that the house was simple in the fact I didn't have to worry breakable things everywhere with my children. Pletty of pool towels. Could have used even just 1 extra roll of tp. All in all totally recommend and would stay again in a heart beat!
