Guests looking for exceptional Hill Country cabin rentals will be delighted by the authentic La Rouge cabin constructed from reclaimed lumber right in the heart of the historic district, only two blocks from Main Street. While the cottage's exterior will invite you to step back in time, the posh interior will remind you that this little gem is all about luxury!
At La Rouge, you will enjoy a spacious den with a comfortable sofa, rock wood-burning fireplace (wood provided), and a 42" TV with cable selections, plus ROKU to enhance your TV entertainment experience. Adjacent to the den is the kitchenette, complete with microwave and mini-fridge and a cozy dinette.
Just off the den, through a set of beautiful French doors, you will find the bedroom offering a comfortable iron King-sized with luxurious Reilly-Chance bedding and a vaulted ceiling. Your oversized bathroom includes a romantic two-person shower. And don't forget to step onto your back porch and into your private hot tub
When you add up the luxurious amenities you will see that La Rouge is the perfect place for your romantic escape!

- Quiet Time is from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am, per City Ordinance
- If we are called due to complaints violating Quiet Time:
1st Offense will result in a $250 fine.
2nd Offense will result in a $500 fine.
If police are called, you are responsible for any fines or fees issued with the citation or warning. If police are called there will be a $500 fine, even if no citation is issued.

The house was cute and cozy. The only downfalls were the lighting was terrible, there was only a mini fridge and the dogs next door barked all night where it was hard to sleep. Not sure if that’s also a rental, but definitely not the owners fault. It just put a damper on our sleep. Overall a good stay.

Hair in shower, front yard un-kept, hot tub area so dirty did not want to go out there. House is very dark and dungeon feeling, two people cannot get ready at the same time. The shower was great. Toilet leaking around base. Would not recommend this place.

We had a relaxing two night stay. The hot tub was ready when we arrived. The fenced in yard was a plus for our pet. We enjoyed sitting outside playing with our dog. We hope to be able to return someday.

My stay at La roug

Absolutely amazing. This little cottage was very cozy. Very clean easy to find. The king size bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in outside of my own. Definitely gonna rebook for my son and his wife to enjoy. And my husband and I will be booking another stay here. I cannot say enough nice things about this place. Absolutely amazing thank you.

2/10 Terrible

4th of July weekend

It wasn't any one thing but just a bunch of little things that made it not the best of weekends. Probably not the best weekend to come to Fredericksburg. The people around the rental must have had parties and company because we really couldn't park right in front of the house. We found a dirty washcloth in the shower. One of the bedroom lamps had a blown out bulb. Very little cold water pressure in the bathroom sink. And honestly the hot tub just didn't look that great. Plus it was very difficult to get the gate open. I would rent with Absolute Charm again but not this property. I think it would have been nicer in a more secluded rental. But your process was great and we do appreciate that.

Great Location and Cozy!

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was nice and cozy. I really liked the walk in shower, and hot tub! We also liked that is was super close to Main street for shopping and dining.

Wonderful little cottage!

This was a charming little getaway- we enjoyed the ambiance, and the outside area- even got to pet the kitties! There was definitely a lot of thought put into this cottage. Also very close to downtown Fredericksburg.
