If 10 stars was available, I’d give this a 10!!
This was by far the BEST renting experience we've ever had! Jim and Julie are wonderful hosts and the house was very comfortable and clean with amazing views and every amenity. The location is perfect for anyone who wants to be close to beautiful beaches and also a little off the beaten path. Upon our arrival, Jim & Julie met us at their street entrance to lead us to their rental home. They gave us tips about the area including private beaches, where to bring the kayaks they provided us with, good restaurants, and they were happy to answer ALL the questions we had. They live very close-by and it was comforting to know that if we had any problems they would be right there for us. We were very interested in the waterfalls so Jim and his son took us hiking one morning and showed us the falls (which we found again ourselves another day.) The gated community is beautiful in the mountains with a river running along the road. The roof provides amazing views - during the day you can see the gardens on the property, the surrounding forest/wildlife, and the ocean in the distance - and it’s all incredible to experience from up there. At night it’s a cool place to listen to the nighttime sounds while gazing at the stars. The home has EVERYTHING you need plus things that you don’t need that are just great to have. Despite everything they already provide, Julie and Jim go above and beyond with some welcoming personal touches. They're genuinely nice, warm people and we couldn’t thank them enough. We'll definitely be contacting them to rent from them again someday!
