Description says the property has been renovated and this is not the case. The upstairs bathtub doesn’t drain. We had no hot water in the evenings, a smoke detector that needed battery replaced (fixed during stay), cheap peeling furniture, filthy carpet on the stairs with terrible stains, dirty floors, and a broken washing machine. Maintenance apparently went in to fix the hot water issue (never resolved) and left the door unlocked all day. The townhome was dirty and needs a lot of attention. Not a good stay. The location is close to Universal Studios.

This is absolutely not the standard we aim to provide, and I understand how disappointing and frustrating this must have been. The concerns you raised regarding the bathtub drainage, inconsistent hot water, cleanliness, condition of the furnishings and carpets, and the broken washing machine are serious and unacceptable. I also apologize for the maintenance visit resulting in the door being left unlocked—this is a significant lapse, and your safety and peace of mind should never be compromised. While I’m glad the smoke detector issue was resolved during your stay, I regret that other problems, particularly the hot water, were not properly fixed. Your comments about the property’s condition and the renovation description have been noted and will be reviewed carefully so the listing accurately reflects the home and necessary improvements are addressed. I do appreciate you acknowledging the convenient location near Universal Studios, but I’m very sorry that the overall experience fell so far short. Your feedback has been escalated so corrective actions can be taken. Thank you for taking the time to share this—it helps us identify where urgent improvements are needed.

Everything absolutely exceeded our expectations. From the ease of check in, to the welcome gift of Oreo cookies to the check out with the instructions to leave any remaining food for donation to a food bank or shelter. I am already looking into more rentals with this company again.

Spacious and well maintained property with new furnishings. Very comfy beds, although the configuration described is wrong. There is one master with a King sized bed, second bedroom upstairs has two full size beds, and the third bedroom (downstairs) has a full and a single.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The only downer was the instructions said choose this internet address and this password. Neither worked and the office was not much help. I tried the entire list and none worked. One other thing, please put a cork screw in the condo ;-) Other than that, the place was perfect.

A functional but underwhelming place to stay

Unfortunately, this property is more dated than the online pictures showed. There were issues with toilets and showers working properly. The refrigerator was slow to cool. One of the hair driers did not work. The carpeting on the stairs was dirty and worn out. The condo was not very clean. We were in other units in Vista Cay that were more updated and nicer than this one. We enjoyed the resort and will definitely be back, but we will find a condo that is a better fit for our needs.
