Beachfront Villa Just Steps To The Water

Casa Paraiso is a beautiful beachfront villa located in Playa Potrero. With the stunning ocean view, the beach is just steps away from the backyard. Enjoy the gorgeous Pacific sunsets from your private pool or patio with a glass of wine or your favorite beverage. The house was entirely remodeled in 2021, offering over 4100 sq ft which includes 7 bedrooms and 7.5 baths. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs and 3 downstairs. Each bedroom includes its own private bath. Three of the upstairs bedrooms provide ocean views with its own balcony.

Within walking distance, there is a market, and several restaurants, including 3 beachfront restaurants. The calm ocean is perfect for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and other ocean activities without the threat of riptides.

Casa Paraiso is located about 50 minutes away from Liberia Airport. The house is also about a mile away from Playa Flamingo, and 30 minutes away from Tamarindo. It is the ideal location to spend a day out shopping or enjoying what the area has to offer! You also have your choice of fine restaurants, which are just a short drive away.

Here at Casa Paraiso we offer housekeeping service every day excluding Sundays. We also have a groundskeeper three days out of the week. We offer a concierge who is very knowledgable with the area that can assist you in booking any tours, fishing trips, private chef and outdoor activities of your choice. The concierge can also assist you with booking an airport shuttle which can be arranged prior to the day of your arrival.

Nothing short of paradise

The pictures do not do this house justice, even as amazing as they are. There were 13 of us staying in one house, with 4 kids, and 5 over 60 years old. There was ample room for all of us and never felt on top of each other. The kids ran out to the beach and we watched them from the gazebo and never felt unsafe. Jimmy was amazing and kept in contact the whole time. There was a cleaning service, security, and we opted for Donna, the in-home chef. They were all amazing! The beach was close to excursions and other beaches, and we walked to a local bar a few times. The sun sets at the beach and you can watch boats come in and out. It was clean, convenient, and everyone was so accommodating!

Spring Break 2025

We had an amazing time at Casa ParaĂ­so. We had 9 adults and 4 teens in our group. The house was gorgeous and more than big enough for our group. The most amazing sunsets every evening, everyone comes out to see! Our days were spent on the beach and enjoying the large pool. We rented paddle boards as well. Everything is within walking distance, no real need for car or golf cart unless you want to venture outside of town. Just a quick walk to coffee every morning at Nitro and smoothie bowls from Surfside Bowls, and a taco joint. Enjoyed many meals at Hemingway's. Also enjoyed meals at the tapas bar, the Shack, Diabllito, to name a few. Enjoyed an afternoon at Potrero Brewing Co too where they also had lots of food truck options. The market is also right down the street. Jimmy our house manager was great as was our chef Diana we had for 2 nites. Oh and don't forget the cows! They strolled the beach 2 evenings during our stay!

Best vacation!

We are Family friends that took our kids on a senior spring break trip. Just a small group of 11. Jimmy was amazing and booked EVERYTHING for us. From transportation to/from the airport to all the best excursions to just traveling to the town next door. The house was such a great location within walking distance to restaurants and shops. A couple great bakeries too! We would love to come back to this property or even try the sister property down the beach. Absolutely amazing trip!

Beautiful house in exciting area

We loved our time in Playa Potrero! The house is located in walking distance of several restaurants, shopping, and coffee houses. It has ample space for 12 guests, each bedroom having its own bathroom. The pool was great and the beach was and not overrun with tourists. Several of us got massages on the beach. Everyone was kind and communicative from the groundskeeping staff to security to the concierge, Jimmy.Would definitely visit again!

Perfect stay

Birthday Celebration

We absolutely loved this property and the concierge Jimmy was amazing! He was so helpful in helping us plan everything including transportation, coordinating the excursions, golf carts and our last night meal which was prepared for us at the property. The house was perfect and clean. Having the pool was a plus. Highly recommend for large groups. Having a bathroom for each bedroom was also a huge plus!! It was a great place to stay and the beach was terrific. We felt like locals rather than tourists with the accommodations. There were many places to eat and small markets nearby for groceries, although Jimmy also arranged for groceries to be there when we arrived. We would definitely stay here again or possibly try the other property this owner owns. Can’t say enough about this property it was perfect!!

Beach Villa Spectacular

We spent a week in this seven en-suite villa RIGHT on the beach in POTRERO. We could not have asked for anything better. The huge bedrooms and living areas all fit our needs, and the sunsets were spectacular.

Incredible Trip

This was an amazing trip from the time we arrived until we had to leave, which was very hard. Jimmy was WONDERFUL to work with and the housekeeper was EXCEPTIONAL!! Our chef that came for dinner, meals were DELICIOUS and plentiful. Every living creature we saw in CR was unbelievable-so much life here-Biodiversity need to return!!! Thank you

Amazing!!!

We enjoyed our stay. Great service (the staff is nice and flexible). The house has a good location, it is near to different beaches, restaurants and supermarkets. Bedrooms are confortable and each room has its private bathroom. We loved it.

Everything was fantastic. The house was in a great location. Close to grocery, restaurants, the marina, and a short golf cart ride to Flamingo Beach. I highly recommend renting golf carts. It was the preferred way of getting around and seeing things going on in the area. We had our family of 13 and it fit all of us very comfortably. Everyone had a private bathroom and the rooms were very big. The house was very clean. We had a couple of evenings with the private chef. She did a fantastic job cooking great food. The beach is a stone's throw from the house. I can't say enough wonderful things about this property, the owner, and the management.

Amazing place

This property was amazing! Great location near bars and restaurants. We had 8 adults and there was plenty of space for everyone. We used the private chef once and she was outstanding. Would definitely go back!

Family vacation

There were 14 of us ranging from 1-69. It’s the perfect place with pool just outside and the ocean at your backyard. Many walkable restaurants in town. We rented 3 golf carts that fit us all and were able to go to the close towns and beaches around us. We were there on July 4th and the local restaurant had a huge bbq and fireworks, easily seen from our yard. It was the rainy season, so mosquitoes were vicious. Bug spray needed wherever you go. Jimmy was great arranging tours even at the last minute. We had one night of a local chef cooking for us. It was delicious! Definitely a great place for a family reunion.

Family Vacation

We had an amazing vacation to this house in June. The property is well kept, the house immaculate with pretty much everything we needed. We did have a few problems with a couple of appliances but they were immediately addressed by both the property manager and owner. The maid service every day was perfect because we had 14 people in our group. The pool was very clean and the kids played in it for hours. We had Alexandra as our concierge and she was so helpful both before we went and during our stay. She hooked us up with Karen the singing chef who cooked up Costa Rican meals for us 5 or our 7 nights there. Amazing food! Karen has 2 helpers and our dinners were cooked and completely cleaned up in a matter of a couple hours. Very reasonably priced and much less than if we tried to eat out with our crew. I definitely recommend this property and Costa Rica! I only gave 3 stars for the neighbourhood because it is on a dirt road which got really muddy as we were there during the rainy season. Costa Rica doesn't have the best infrastructure so don't go expecting posh resort areas. There are some around but not in Potrero. Also it is quite a remote area with not much in the way of restaurants, shops or grocery stores. But we were able to find everything we needed in the little store in town. My sons are surfers so they were very content with the area we stayed in. Tamarindo is only about 30 min away and a great little town with lots of surfing. We loved our stay!

Beautiful Costa Rica

We were originally scheduled to stay at this property but because of some necessary renovations the owner moved us to his brand new property at the same beach, Casa Natalia. This review is about Casa Natalia. I expect after the renovations both properties will be exceptional. The staff (Jimmy and Isabella) were excellent. Communications with the owner and Jimmy was easy and they were always responsive. Karen our chef (the singing chef) provided two excellent meals with their recommended local fare. Alexandra was our concierge and expertly arranged all excursions (zip lining, wildlife sanctuary, rafting, and the sunset cruise on the Serendipity), and transportation. Having the golf cart was great for getting around town, This house offered everything we needed for our family of 14. The beach was uncrowded and the sunsets spectacular. The noise from the construction of a new house next door will be temporary. You cannot go wrong with this property.

Great House, Great Location, Clean, & Beautiful

My friends and I go on a group trip each year. There were 13 of us (all 30+) that stayed in the house for 6 nights and it was great! We rented golf carts to get around Potrero and Flamingo. It was easy to ride the roads in the area with a golf cart. The house is in walking distance to Hemingways and a few other restaurants and markets. It’s a quiet area at night, not too close to restaurants so you can hear everything, just a good close enough distance to walk. We felt extremely safe and everything was beautiful. This is a great house for large groups. The beach wasn’t crowded, the water is a lot flatter here than in Flamingo. 10/10 recommend staying in this house. I would be happy going back here with my family! Great house and great location! You can’t go wrong with staying in this house with your friends or family.

Wonderful stay for extended family

We had such a wonderful stay! My extended family of 14 stayed here for spring break - we had 6 kids (ages 10 months - 7 years old) and the house was perfect. There is a huge yard filled with lizards for the kids to run around in, quick easy access to the beach and a perfect size pool. There was plenty of room for our family. The house is about 45 minutes from the airport and only about 10 minutes (or shorter) from Playa Flamingo where we took two boat trips (estuary tour and dolphin site seeing tour). We had a great time and highly recommend!

We booked this accommodation to stay together as a family & have a vacation together. The accommodation was absolutely perfect! We had the luxury of each having our own bathroom & bedroom, a daily housekeeper & pool maintenance. Even though it was exceptionally hot while we were there we had lovely shaded areas to relax in & enjoy meals together outdoors. We all enjoyed the pool & having our own beach to enjoy the ocean as well. Super close to all amenities, groceries, pharmacies & great restaurants. Jimmy our host was amazing & helped our family immensely through some unexpected family emergencies. We can’t say enough about how wonderful our experience was here! Pura Vida!

Perfect Vacation

Beautiful property. Visited with 14 family members. 6 kids were under 7. We had the most amazing time. Sunsets were incredible. The yard & pool were perfect, the kids had lots of space to run around. The house was very nice with a gorgeous balcony & lots of bathrooms. Beds were comfortable, air conditioning worked well. It was very clean and the cleaner was great & reliable. Used the concierge to help book a few things along with the chef - all went well. Would love to return!
