Jaw dropping views! Flamingo Casa Miramar est une belle et grande maison sur la crĂȘte nord de Flamingo, au Costa Rica. Les vues sont INCROYABLES et inoubliables! Un endroit populaire est sur la terrasse donnant sur la piscine, le jacuzzi et la vue imprenable sur la baie de Potrero, les montagnes et les couchers de soleil. C'est une propriĂ©tĂ© parfaite pour la famille, les amis, les retraites de yoga, les mariages et les Ă©vĂ©nements spĂ©ciaux. Il y a plusieurs zones sur le patio et la terrasse pour manger dehors et griller.
Accueillant confortablement 14 personnes, la maison et la terrasse sont spacieuses, bien meublées et relaxantes. Donald et Martha sont les gardiens à temps plein offrant un fort sentiment de sécurité à la maison et travaillent dur pour rendre votre séjour relaxant, amusant et mémorable. Martha s'occupera des tùches ménagÚres et veillera à ce qu'elle fasse ses fameux tamales! Donald entretiendra la piscine, le jacuzzi et tout autre besoin que vous pourriez avoir.
Casa Miramar est proche de la ville pittoresque de Flamingo et de la belle plage de sable blanc. Il y a environ 50 restaurants dans un rayon de 8 km et une vie nocturne active Ă  proximitĂ© de Potrero. Vous pouvez ĂȘtre aussi paresseux ou actif que vous le souhaitez! Tyrolienne, Ă©quitation, tubing, rafting, circuits VTT, voile, plongĂ©e sous-marine, kayak, croisiĂšre au coucher du soleil en catamaran et bien plus encore.
L'allée du Flamingo Casa Miramar est fermée et dispose d'un grand espace pour garer les voitures ou les voiturettes de golf.

My family of 8 had a fabulous stay! Jennifer was amazing with answering every question we had in a very timely manner making our trip so easy and comfortable. The house, views, beaches are all amazing. Martha's cooking was also amazing and so convenient! We rented golf carts to get around town and to beaches. Perfect! Highly recommend!

Amazing stay!

We had a group of 9 ages 8-50 and everyone loved the house! It was clean, beautiful and a perfect location to explore surrounding beaches by golf cart. Jennifer and Chip were great to deal with, responsive and informative. Martha and Jasmine were wonderful. Dont miss Martha's Gallo pinto and huevos rancheros for breakfast! Would definitely stay again.

We had an amazing stay. Jennifer was available to help in every single aspect she could from where to eat, entertain and transportation. Martha and the other staff went out of their way to make sure we had to great time on our vacation and it felt like home. Our meals were cooked fabulously and at the exact time we wanted them. Our laundry was done daily and the house was always cleaned. If we had a concern we addressed it was taken care of immediately. I would recommend this place and would definitely stay here in the future bringing others to join us and experience such a wonderful time. Thank you Jennifer, Chip, Martha and the rest of your staff.

Christmas in Costa Rica

My husband and I wanted our entire family (4 children, spouses and their childre- 17 total) to spend Christmas all together somewhere fun. This place was magical. We enjoyed the scenery, family time, spaciousness of the home, ease of getting to the beach and eateries, and one of the best highlights was Mrs Martha and her staff. Mrs Martha helped us with her fabulous cooking and hospitality. Jennifer arranged travel and excursions and was so easy to work with. We will definitely be back.

First, Martha was outstanding
 a real blessing to have prepare meals for our group from our menu. Much better that shopping and cooking for ourselves while on vacation, and very economical and equally tasty vs dining out. View was breathtaking, as good as pictured on home ad. Jennifer was super, very helpful communicator to help organize all we needed door our stay.

Wonderful experience!

We stayed for a week with a group ranging from 6-81 years old and this was a perfect place. I’d say the whole house is even more lovely than the VRBO photos. Jennifer was so helpful answering our millions of questions and arranging tours for us. She even supported us thru a quick visit to urgent care. The food was great, especially Marta’s tamales and red snapper. AC in each room was much appreciated in the February heat. Can’t say enough!

Paradise Unparalleled

Flamingo Casa Miramar is a beautiful home with a gorgeous view! My family of 5 adults, a two year old and a four year old all had a fabulous time. The house is clean and well cared for by Martha, Jasmine Jahn. Martha also prepared some delicious meals for us. Don't miss the stunning local beach. If you go during the week you may well have it to yourself. The house is also managed expertly by Jen who was a pleasure to work with, responding to all questions quickly.

Beautiful house with a great staff and all the amenities needed to have a great time

The house is even more beautiful in person. It was very clean and everything worked perfectly! AC in all the rooms worked great, Wi-Fi, refrigerator was very cold. The grounds staff and maid were great. The house, pool, and jacuzzi were cleaned daily and Martha did a ton of laundry for use, we had 12 people doing tours daily coming back with wet/dirty cloths. Out of the 3 homes I stayed in this trip to Costa Rica this was our favorite. Thank you Jennifer, Martha and Donald we had a blast and would not hesitate to recommend this house!!

Amazing and unforgettable

Jenn was the best host. She was prompt and very informative in all of our communications. She made the entire stay a smooth and easy process! The photos do not do the property justice. It’s clean, spacious, and has stunning views! The pool and hot tub were perfect for chilling, along with the bbq area. The local private beach was the best part and we spent everyday there. Martha and Jasmine were super sweet and wonderful caretakers. Book this house. You won’t regret it!!

Not happy with how steep driveway is and no steps

Great house, would consider for next year with our kids and grandkids but driveway and access to house is not friendly so it is limiting. I think the driveway should be disclosed. Martha was great and she cooked a great dinner for us. Which we still are talking about.

An Absolutely Beautiful Home!

Our family of 16, ages 7-81, spent 4 nights at Casa Miramar. It is a beautiful property inside and out and even more spacious than it appears in the pictures! The outdoor area with the pool, hot tub and beautiful views is fantastic! There was nothing we would have changed in any way! But equally amazing is the personal attention from Jennifer the property manager. She made restaurant reservations for us, arranged a wonderful private catamaran trip with Zafira through Deb Goode (who is also wonderful!) and was always available on Whats App to answer questions! And being first timers to Costa Rica we had lots of them!! She and her husband own Amigos a "Taco Bar" near the house. We got take out from there the first night when we wanted to chill by the pool and it was delicious! Be sure to try it! If you are staying in the Playa Flamingo area, do yourself a favor and be sure to check out Casa Miramar!

Playa Flamingo Villa / Casa Miramar Flamingo

You walk in the door, up the stairs to the main level and an amazing view greets you. The terrace off the main room faces the ocean, has a nice pool and hot tub. a couple shaded areas (depending on the time of day) and gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Large house that suited our multi generation family group of 10 very well. Due to the very steep driveway and equally steep hill down to the nearby beach we recommend people to be relatively fit to stay here. The pool deck can be slippery with wet feet. No Running was the refrain of the day. The 3 ensuite bedrooms on the main floor were very nice. The downstairs had one large king bdrm, with a nice large bathroom, it was the quietest, partly because it had no window. the 2 queen bdrm was nice, had an ensuite bathroom but the laundry alcove, used by guests and staff alike was directly off this room. The bunk room worked well for our youngest grandkids, no ensuite for that. Jennifer and Chip were extremely helpful, arranging golf carts, and airport shuttles, recommending outings and quickly responding to any questions we had. Martha made us delicious guacamole and tamales. It was a great family vacation.

Stunning view

Casa Miramar is a beautiful home with a stunning view but the view comes at a price. It is located on a steep road with an even steeper driveway. Our group all 60 and up needed transportation - car, use of a taxi to get around. One of our earlier cab drivers refused to drive up the driveway.. That said the property manager connected us with an excellent taxi cab driver Walter who helped us get to many different restaurants in the area. The food here is excellent . We also utilized Martha for several meals breakfast and dinner and we were not disappointed. Martha and staff keep the home pristine. Jennifer and Chip went out of their way to make this a great trip for us. One of our couples had to leave early and Jennifer and Chip were very supportive and helpful during that difficult time. Shoutout to Amigos, Tacos y Beer ! Their food and staff were excellent!

Lovely Home with Awesome View and Privacy

Wonderful stay for a mixed group (70-11 years old) of 12. Located on a ridge up above Playa Flamingo with a great view of the ocean, trees with many birds and animals, nice pool. We spent most evenings by the pool watching the wildlife and the boats and jungle in the distance. We spent most days at the nearby beaches, some awesome surfing. The area feels like Tamarindo 20 years ago. The kids ziplined at 2 different places. Grocery stores 2 miles away, many good dining options within 4 miles, several within a mile. The house is large, 3 large bedrooms each with baths on the main floor. 3 smaller bedrooms in the basement with 2 baths, washer/drier. It fit our 4 couples and 4 kids very well. The driveway is a little steep, intimidating the first time up and down, then no problem once acclimated. Martha made breakfast for us each morning and a couple delish dinners, her Costa Rica tamales are fantastic. We also bbq'd on the grill. While it is close to the ocean on all sides and you can hear it, walking/driving access to the beach is 1/2 mile away, the nearby ocean is inaccessible due to very steep slopes and dense vegetation. Thank you Jennifer for a great place to stay.

Summer stay!

We just left from our stay. I stayed for 7 days with a total of 16 people! The house itself was very spacious. The house was easy find on Waze however it is somewhat of a hidden entrance your bound to pass it the first time. I highly recommend renting a 4x4 in general not just the big hill to get to the hill. The bedrooms themselves were big and comfortable. Cleanliness I was say just to improve around bathrooms for example shower heads were clogged just from being dirty. Overall though the house was very cleaned and Martha did well maintaining it! The kitchen comes with about everything you’ll need. House comes with beach towels, and bathing towels. Martha will help with providing clean ones daily and ensure the house is mopp, swept, and toilet paper and paper towels. She assist with cleaning the kitchen however we tried to not give her much left over! The view of the house from top area is great! Pool was good and clean! Hot tub was warm but not super hot. Prepare for mosquitos there’s a TON!!! The location around the house is great! Places to eat, grocery store, bakeries! Overall we all had a great stay! Oh and get Martha to cook for you completely worth it!!

We moved from Greenville, NC (home of the East Carolina University Pirates, Arrrgh) with an undaunted spirit to successfully transition into a new culture and mind set.
We landed in Costa Rica August 15, 2015, our 28th wedding anniversary! Cheers to us. Our dream/bucket list item of living in a tropical foreign country became a reality after years of research, planning, selling our home, cars and chunking way too much accumulated junk.
We successfully reduced our belongings down to 10 x 20 storage unit, resigned from our careers and booked our flights!
(well, I'm making it sound easier than it was but you get the point)
Our original plan/dream was to own and operate a tiki bar on the beach (more Chip's dream) but for a variety of reasons that didn't work out so once we got here and made new friends and contacts, we found out about and managing Casa Miramar for friends that live in the US.
We love our new home, new minimalistic lifestyle, new perspectives on life, new golf cart business and thoroughly enjoy sharing our experience with friends and family.
We have 2 super cool kids, Trey(26) and Johnson(23). We're so very grateful to them for their approval, support and encouragement that made this life changing dream a reality. We're truly blessed!
