This is an ideal location for a person that is traveling alone or a couple. It’s very close to downtown and in walking distance to many places. The designated parking spot is ideal since it is located right next to the unit. The unit is well appointed with plenty of amenities to enjoy your visit. It is worth knowing that there is a staircase cut right into the floor of the living room. Something to consider if you’re traveling with small children.
Consider the fact that the staircase is open into the living room, if traveling with small children or others that may be susceptible to this type of issue.

Bed sheets not nee or clean. Battery operated door lock used up power before it was due. The owner was on site and gave us a key Fire alarms not operational contacted caretaker on several occasions With photos.

Place is exactly what you need for a quick weekend in Denver! Place to park, sleep, shower, do laundry! Place is near the botanical gardens, parks and the neighborhood came across as very safe with lots of families and folks out walking their doggos. Place was very clean, instructions were sent in advance for easy check. Only wish was that checkout was at 11 vs 10. I was cramped for time trying to get in a long run in the am (I didn’t want to run in the dark in neighborhoods I didn’t know so I started after sunrise and cut it short). Bed was comfy and the neighborhood was quiet so I slept great! Nice place! Thanks for having us!

It’s much smaller than the pictures make it seem. The sofa bed is in very poor condition, and when it is open, it makes the rest of the property unusable. I do not recommend this property for anyone with children or mobility issues; the staircase is basically a gaping hole in the floor. Even the adults worried about falling in. We also struggled to get the lock to work on check in. Mattress in the bedroom was comfortable.

Reviewer Comments: This compact upstairs carriage house unit was well appointed and perfectly located for our week in Denver which centered around a nearby medical facility and the wonderful Botanical Gardens and parks. Beautiful neighborhood and lots of interesting places to go and restaurants nearby. A few things to note : Stairs are narrow and steep, and there is no place to hang out outdoors at the rental. Also, the bedroom is small and bed is up against a wall which might be challenging for some couples. Private parking spot was a little tight but definitely beat having to find something on the street. (The VRC has a taken good care of detailed management but some things just can't be fixed...)All in all a good stay!

The place was neatly decorated and clean. Nicely condensed apt. Lots of windows (5), giving an airy feeling. Only issued we had was operating the TV to get regular channels. Bryon (owner) came right away, worked on the issue and everything was solved within 15 minutes. YAY! I would stay here again.

It is small but it was perfect for two people, very clean and attractively decorated and had all the amenities we needed. It's in a great neighborhood, an easy walk to Cheesman Park, which has a beautiful walking/running trail, and the Botanical Gardens. There are lots of restaurants and a few microbreweries within walking distance (we are big walkers). We particularly enjoyed Jelly for breakfast, Blue Pan Pizza for delicious Detroit style pizza, and the Wild Corgi Pub for drinks.

Excellent location!

Thank you for a great stay! As a FYI for future guests, the electronic keypad is located on the handle of the physical door to the unit. There is a key box and an electronic keypad on the garage, both are not associated with the rental but are much more visually obvious.

Week before Christmas.

Quiet, convenient, loved parking. Place is clean and stocked with essentials. I would add a coffee grinder and some tea, which we were happy to purchase. Stairs are manageable with care. I would suggest adding another bar at top on right for last 3-4 foot climb. We had a great stay and it was very quiet at night.

Just Right

We were in Denver to visit our son, who luck would have it lived just down Vine from the property. The property itself is very small but, incredibly efficient. Everything you need for stay if any length; kitchen appliances, a comfy queen bed, and a very good shower. (Are the floors real wood? Just one be “aware” high staircase to get to the living quarters. We are active seniors and navigated them easily though. Would return on a heartbeat.
