When we say "location, location, location" we're not exaggerating. We are located in the heart of Historic Hyde Park in South Tampa, 1/2 a mile to Hyde Park Village (1st class dining/shopping), 1/2 a mile to the bar and dining scene of South Howard (Soho), 2 small blocks to the Bayshore Blvd promenade to walk/jog/bike alongside the Tampa Bay, and 2.5 miles away from Downtown Tampa.

Welcome to The Hyde Out Historic Stylish Apartment where modern comforts meet turn of the century architecture. Looks nicer online than in person. Washer and dryer outside was a turn off. Bathroom shower is so small you can’t hardly turn around and water goes all over the floor. Kitchen is the size of a boat kitchen. Burner on stove not fixed since last reviews online. The girls upstairs are very loud pounding when they walk. They had friends over who smoked out back on the porch and it came in our place . Highly annoying since we have kids that have asthma. It reminded me of a frat house. There’s only a couch to sit on and a baby chair and some other outdoor chair in the living room. Very old no water view and construction going on across the street which was annoying with all the trucks.

LOCATION WAS AMAZING!!!2 blocks away is BayShore Drive with miles of walking pathsAnd Hyde Park shopping is two blocks away the opposite direction.Very safe neighborhood, walked to local restaurants, and large indoor mall 5 miles away.I had to work a tad while there, excellent internet connection, desk to use!Beds comfy, plenty of towels, coffee pods provided, laundry detergent, plenty of paper goods, easy access in and out.Jay was a responsive host, and would definitely stay again!!

The property is clean and tidy. The instructions were a bit unclear on which set of stairs and was hard to see when arriving in the dark. The parking was also tight. For anyone looking to cook, one of the burners does not work and has a permanent note on it.

Perfect little get away!

This cozy and bright property was perfect for our anniversary adventure! We especially enjoyed eating breakfast in the dining room each morning. The host is very easy to communicate with, and he is kind and personable.The location is amazing! We were not more than 15 minutes away from any of our scheduled activities the entire weekend. 10/10 would recommend, my husband and I would stay at this property again.

Great location in Hyde Park

Great place, centrally located to restaurants, bars, shopping & bay shore! Can walk to it all! Interior was clean and well kept, cozy & comfortable. Will definitely stay again when we visit our daughter again.

Apartment was in great condition and in a very nice location in Hyde Park. Great communication with host. Building was a bit older, but unit was great for what we needed.

Family vacation with the littles

This was a great property for the price, it was very close to everything(still driving distance,) shops restaurants and a Publix in my favorite area of Hyde park! The king bed was comfortable, and there was enough room to set up a pack and play in the same room. The host was very good at communicating.. The only things you should know if you stay here that might be a drawback is that you only have one parking space and the unit is part of a multi unit apart so you will hear other people and they will hear you, especially since it seems to be an older building and it is a bit small, but it was enough for what we needed to just stay
the other tenants we’ve very nice, we met a few of them while we were there. The fireplace isn’t something you’d use bc it’s so close to the bed in the bedroom. There is a washer and dryer, but it is outside the unit and most of the time the other tenants are using it. Ac and heat worked great, we used both while we were there. Towels and sheets were readily available you could always use a pullout couch if you needed extra room but we did not. All in all a great stay!

Family visit and vacation

I was warned the WiFi was not working and told it was being worked on. It never did work. Other than that it was a very nice place. The neighbors were friendly. The location was perfect for us. I highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

PERFECT Location Filthy House Inside & Out!

Jay responded to each of my txt msg, he wasn't much help though, we were given the impression he lives out of state. He is under the impression his cleaners are "very thorough" his "newly renovated" super cute space was poorly constructed, filthy, and came with roaches ("It's Florida. They generally come out during weather change and of course during the summer.") no wash clothes and a broken closet door. The outside looks like the slums!!! It's a house split into apartments. Railings & beams decaying. In desperate need of pressure washing, paint & lawn care. Rusted old used paint cans (6) 1/2 stacked next to a grill, grill cover, and large cooler, a discarded bathroom storage rack leaned up against the stairs that lead you into the unit. There was a platform (a piece of wood) on the ground/gravel as you went up the 4 steps to enter the unit, it was not secured down, very unstable, slid & flopped as you stepped on it. Terribly unsafe. What a mess & disappointment.

Perfect location

Great experience and much easier than a hotel with two kids. Walkable to Hyde Park village, bay shore drive and close to all things in Tampa. Would highly recommend if you need a place in the Tampa area.
