Cottage was clean and well-maintained. Uneven flooring between kitchen and spare bedroom could be a hazard. Suggestion for improved guest experience - bath towels for adult-sized people. We did enjoy our stay here.

HI Linda, My apologies for the towels......we were delivered the wrong size and the cleaner did not notify me. We have corrected the issue by having extras in storage, just incase this happens in the future. As far as the flooring, it is an old quirky place, that we have plans to rip up all the florring and joist this coming winter!

Clean, Chic, and Cared For Cottage

Perfect!

We were in town for a weekend for a wedding in Newport. This rental was perfect. A short drive to the much pricier Newport. The cottage is adorable and perfect for 2 couples. The beach at the bottom of the street is beautiful. The place was exceptionally clean. Also really nicely equipped if we had been staying longer.

Perfect location near Pebble Beach

We stayed for a week in July, 3 adults/2 dogs, and had a wonderful time. We walked to Pebble Beach often with the dogs (it's not a swimming beach and you need good shoes for it) and loved the location. The house was in a quiet, gorgeous residential neighborhood, just a short drive to the swimming beaches. The house was the perfect size for us. We loved the decor and the layout of the house. We had a couple of issues which Lisa resolved quickly and efficiently. We made a couple of suggestions to her for the future renters and she took care of it immediately. We will definitely stay there again. Thanks for a great stay!

A Perfect Winter ( or Anytime!) Retreat

So Clean and Even More Comfortable than the Pictures Indicated! I felt immediately at home!! The Layout of the Cottage is Perfect with the Bedrooms and Baths affording Privacy and the Lovely Dining Room such a sweet surprise in the sunshine and openness of the room! The little deck, too, opening off the Living Room affords easy access to outside! The Owner has thought of everything as far as I could see! I especially liked the room in the kitchen for any and all groceries that you bring with you - Kudos on great storage all around the Home! The Cottage is in a little conclave of other cottages and homes but you have your parking & privacy the way the homes are set up! The Neighborhood is Perfect for walking and catching a glimpse of the Ocean! I can't wait to go back!

The property was clean, comfortable, and located in a quiet area with beautiful gardens. The house was equipped with the basics plus a few extras, like a furnished patio with grill, large screen tv (larger than I am used to), access to a local beach that seems to be popular for fishing, and close proximity to the tourist attractions in Newport. The host was very communicative and responded to questions promptly. My dogs enjoyed walking around the neighborhood, and seeing the wild turkeys on their daily stroll. If you want to walk your dog at night, best to bring a flashlight as there are no street lights nearby. All in all, my family had a wonderful stay at the cottage and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay with pets.

We lived in the Newport area in our early 20's and still have a lot of family in the area. Upon retiring we wanted to be close to the beach so decided to buy a property in Newport again. We have spent the last few months renovating and furnishing this cottage. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Quiet and private location and so close to all Newport has to offer! This cottage is charming and spans one level! Easy place to share with friends or another family! Bike to Third and Second Beach and just a quick couple of miles from downtown Newport! The two wineries and a brewery are within a mile and the international POLO grounds are just down the street! Grab a hot pie from Sweet Berry Farms! You will not be disappointed with this cottage! One level and over a 1000 sq feet, charming and fully stocked........outdoor dining, deck, gas grill, beach chairs and towels!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Tree lined, peaceful and serene.....wake up to the birds chirping! Close to the fun of downtown Newport, but still able to escape for some peace and quiet!! Bike to beaches, close to wineries, nice yard space and deck!! Part of a private compound and can rent the whole compound for large family gatherings! Just ask!!
