Whiteface has everything you want for a large group or family trip to Lake Placid: 4-bed, 2- bath and 2800sqf, only a few min. walk to downtown, short drives to skiing Whiteface or hiking the High Peaks, and a beautiful interior. Consisting of two floors of living with a fully equipped kitchen with walk in pantry, there is everything you need at this property and more! Feel like cooking out? Enjoy your own private grill. Whether you are a large family, corporate group or wedding party, this is your perfect escape to Lake Placid!

Great Stay!

We loved this place! Only thing missing was a deck off the condo, or an outside sitting area. There was a yard for the kids to play however.

Great Property

We had a great stay at Placid Peaks. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. Less than 10 min walk to town. Will be back again next summer.

Perfect location, very spacious

We had six adults for a girls weekend in early fall. The accommodations were in the perfect location where we could walk to shops and restaurants in under ten minutes. Our rental was clean, had everything we needed and our host was responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful As Always

We've started here quite a few times and it's always wonderful. The property was clean and spacious. Location is just a minute walk to the Olympic Center and The Pickled Pig BBQ restaurant. Host was responsive and courteous as always.

Ironman Lake Placid

This is a great location for Ironman Lake Placid. Just a couple of minutes walk from the oval. Property was very comfortable and spacious for our group. Kitchen is very well equipped. Very responsive owner.

This house is amazing!

Love this house. Every room was spacious with a lot of beds for a large group. We had 8 people and still had an extra bed. The house is conveniently located by the town. You can walk pretty much every where.

Beautiful House

This is our third time staying at one of the Placid Peaks locations and our first time staying at Whiteface. The unit was clean, beautifully decorated and spacious. It was a quick walk to town and our communication with Mike was seamless. We appreciated the stocked kitchen/pantry and we had a wonderful time! We can’t wait to come back!

Everything is new!

The Whiteface unit is brand new and very well-stocked. Everything we needed was included. The location was great, walking distance to Main Street and the lake. Having Netflix was helpful with our 3yr old roommate. Bonnie was a pleasure to work with.

TV in living room didn't work as advertised. Bedroom TV worked much better. Upper rack on dishwasher was missing a stop - lost a couple glasses. Otherwise, great place and convenient to walk to town.

Great location/Spacious for large number of people

We had a group of 9 family members. There was plenty of space for everyone. Some of the benefits were the size of the unit, the two sitting areas, pullout bed, large kitchen, large and many closets, and 3 parking spaces. Recommend adding hooks for towels in the bathrooms and bedrooms - behind doors, etc. as it was hard to hang towels. We also didn’t know where to find extra paper supplies. We ended up buying more toilet paper as we ran out within a few days. We didn’t know the protocol for obtaining more. And finally, some parts of the unit were very warm. The air conditioner only hit certain parts. The building sits on a sharp curve. Have to be careful when in the parking spots.

Perfect Getaway!!

We spent the weekend in Lake Placid enjoying the fall foilage in the Adirondak's - and this was the perfect location for our family to spend time together, enjoying dinners and playing games when we were not outside enjoying the trails and the village. The property was great - just as described - with the added bonus of a grill in great working condition. Loved our time there. :)
