Bohemian Cottage - Steps from ocean and bay

Your laidback beach escape begins here. Just steps from the sand, our one-of-a-kind beach cottage in Old Lonelyville embodies the spirit of Fire Island and aims to give guests an authentic local experience.

With eclectic finishes & a laid-back vibe throughout, the cottage is a short walk from the ocean and the bay. Enjoy your morning coffee on the private deck in the shade of a beautiful cedar tree. Soak in the sun and cool down in the ocean waves. Hop on a beach cruiser bike and set off to explore the historic Fire Island Lighthouse. Cap off the day at the dock with a glass of wine as you watch the sunset over the bay - It’s all in a day’s work.

Cottage Includes:

⁃ A beautiful private deck to enjoy your morning coffee, a good book, or a grilled meal under the canopy of a cedar tree. 

⁃ Three bedrooms with plush bedding: Queen, Queen, Full, 

⁃ Brightly lit living room, including two comfortable sofas and an armchair, opens into the dining area with a table that can comfortably seat 6 people.   

⁃ The checkerboard kitchen includes a new refrigerator, gas stove/oven, toaster, and coffee machine - along with good knives and basic supplies like olive oil and spices.

⁃ There is a half bath within the house with a large newly built outdoor shower on the deck a few feet away. The new washer and dryer are easily accessible but out of the way in an outdoor shed

⁃ The cottage is also well equipped with a Weber Gas Grill, bikes, a wagon, beach chairs, and beach umbrella. 

Please note: Suffolk County recently implemented a 5.5% occupancy tax on all short-term stays under 30 days. While we understand this is an added cost, it’s a mandatory requirement :(
