GRAND GET-AWAY !!

Chalet magnifiquement rénové, fraßchement peint avec des panneaux de lamelles dans la majeure partie du chalet, nouveau décor (y compris le canapé) et comptoir de cuisine carrelé.
Propre et aĂ©rĂ©, ce chalet est situĂ© Ă  cĂŽtĂ© de l'un des nombreux Ă©tangs de Block Island. Il y a une belle terrasse avec table et jchairs patio et Ă©tang et vue sur le port. Il y a des lits superposĂ©s dans une chambre et un lit queen dans l'autre, un salon / salle Ă  manger / cuisine ouvert, micro-ondes, laveuse / sĂ©cheuse empilable, TV directe, Internet. PrĂšs de nombreuses commoditĂ©s telles que plages, restaurants, pĂȘche, randonnĂ©e, shopping et marinas. L'adresse de la propriĂ©tĂ© est le 910, chemin Champlin. PrĂ©sentĂ© dans le Block Island Times.
Les nouvelles réservations pour la saison suivante sont acceptées à partir du 1er novembre. ** Les locations à la semaine sont obligatoires pendant la saison estivale (la derniÚre semaine de juin à début septembre). 2 nuits minimum requises hors saison.

Cozy Carriage House

Very cute cabin and in a great location for only having our bikes. We slept well and had warm showers every night. Karen was very kind and checked in on us. We will return again!

Absolutely Fabulous Block Island weekend

This was the best experience EVER!. We were two septuagenarian ladies of on a joyous adventure to Block Island in hopes of attending the Block Island Film Festival and exploring the island a bit. The cottage was cozy, cute and absolutely impeccably clean. The proprietor and the housekeeper were most cordial and accommodating, immediately meeting the couple of minor needs presented over the weekend. It was a delightful and lovely experience....Loved the patio outback and the view of the salt water pond. It the first time I'd ever been on Block Island. Conversations that I had with the proprietor shortly after booking made this whole adventure of ours very easy, as there was such a personable and accommodating "way of being". I am grateful for having had the Divine Accident of bumping into this cottage rental online and I would love to return again to this sweet little cottage on the salt water pond.

Quaint cottage centrally located

Cute home that is convenient to all the main parts of Block Island if you have a car or using taxi service (we saw several on the island). Less than 5 min drive to most parts of island. We loved hearing the birds by the pond. It is on a short dirt road so bikes or mopeds may be tough (you see a lot of bike rentals when you get off the ferry). Remember to bring sheets, toiletries and towels with you if you haven’t pre-arranged service (there was plenty of toilet paper). Easy responsive communication with owner via email and phone.

Definitely a sweet retreat

Cute cozy and everything we needed! It’s in a very peaceful spot right by a pond with lots of birds. We stayed 2 nights for the 1/2 marathon race and it was perfect. We were all sad to leave!

Location is perfect!

A charming oasis right across from a tranquil pond. It’s just a short, pleasant walk to the beach, perfect for catching a stunning sunset. The owners were incredibly accommodating and attentive to any needs we had. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Cozy Block Island Cottage

We had a great week in this property. The listing was accurate and we had no issues. Communication was good leading up to our stay. We enjoyed having the pond and turtles out back to relax in the afternoons. You can walk to the farmers market and a few different restaurants. I think the only thing we all thought would have been nice is an outdoor shower and/or a hose outside to wash off sandy feet, chairs and coolers. We would book this property again.

Cosy spot with great fishing for kids

Great spot for a small family. My son loves to fish, so after a day when we had run out of energy, he was ready for round 2 of fishing on the pond.

Wonderful Retreat

Cozy and comfortable property located in an idilic setting. Even though the weather didn't cooperate, the property and location more than compensated! Country road to the Sound, walking along the beach, exploring downtown and excellent food made for a wonderful weekend.

Perfect Getaway

Perfect little get away cottage! Location is very convenient to center of town and beaches. We loved having dinner on the deck enjoying the island breeze. TV, Wi-Fi, Stove, Washer/Dryer all worked fine. Laid back and casual - perfect place to read a book and just relax.

Great Location

Our stay here was absolutely amazing. My family and I loved the location and loved how peaceful it was. The house was so clean and communication with Karen was great. The only thing that we were unaware of, was that there was no AC. I am not sure if it was in the listing, but I may have missed it! We would definitely come back.

Great little spot

Lovely cottage on a peaceful lot. Far enough away from downtown to be quiet but not too far. Hostess was very accommodating and we had everything we needed.

The cottage/carriage house is adorable. I do wish there were a few more amenities - ironing board, hairdryer, a few more blankets - it was very chilly our first night! Also, I have been using VRBO for over twenty years, and it’s the first place I’ve ever rented that didn’t supply toilet paper.

Conveniently located Block Island cottage

This is a conveniently located cottage that meets all your basic needs if you plan to be out and about exploring Block Island! It is exactly as advertise and the property owners, Glenn and Karen, are friendly and responsive. It is stocked with kitchen necessities for cooking and comes with a very nice washing machine/dryer combo, but do plan on bringing all consumables (paper towels, TP, soap, etc), as these are not provided. We booked this cottage for the second week of September when the nights were cool, so sleeping was lovely, but I'm not sure how it would fair if the summer nights were hot, as it is not air conditioned. However, many fans were provided and it gets a lovely breeze. There is a nice deck and a grill is provided if you want to grill out. Views are lovely and the area is quiet.
