Art Nouveau Barcelona Apartment, "Val C" on historical Eixample neighborhood.

Description of the apartment -
· Beautiful and bright 2 bedroom apartment on the top (6th) floor of an 100-year-old modernist building, renovated outside and inside. The apartment still has the original ceilings with artistic moldings, mosaic floors (a different design in every room), and original woodwork on the doors and windows. There is an elevator, air conditioning (one air conditioning machine in each bedroom and one in the living room, total 3 machines), heating, and a full kitchen with granite countertop, pots & pans, dishes, etc. One full bathroom with shower, toilet, sink. The living room has a dining table and chairs, a sofa.

The building's roof terrace is just upstairs from the apartment, with tables and chairs, plenty of sunshine, and views to Sagrada Familia. Please note it is a shared terrace.

Equipment - SAFE in the master bedroom.
Combination washing machine and dryer in the kitchen.
A/C and heating.
We supply LINENS and TOWELS, and a starter supply of soap and SHAMPOO and other essentials.

Location - The apartment is in the historical part of the Eixample area, at short distance and midway from the Sagrada Familia temple and Passeig de Gracia shopping. Plenty of restaurants and small grocers in the area.

Transportation - Near Verdaguer metro station (on yellow and blue lines) and several bus lines. Very easy to get to by taxi. A taxi lane runs in front of the apartment.

Noise levels - Façade windows have double glazing, but there can be some street (traffic) noise in the living area. The bedrooms have no traffic noise.

Occupancy - The apartment is ideally suited for 4 people. It can sleep up to 4.

Check-in and check-out - The apartment will be ready for you at 15:00 for occupancy. Check-out time is 11:00am.
Reserved early check-in or late check-out for half the nightly rate, subject to availability.
There is no extra fee for nighttime check-in.
FREE LUGGAGE STORAGE SERVICE in our office when you arrive before check in or depart after check out time. We have our office in the building next door.

Really nice apartment close to Metro to get about Barca,some really good restaurants and bars very close by and by the metro a really decent supermercato.Not far from Las Rambla or the shops too.Lilianna was an absolute star for the help and guidance nothing was too much trouble.

Location, location, location and very responsive management are what make this a great place. Things to be aware of: WiFi is very slow even when they reset it. If you need to work or do school I would not recommend staying here. Beds in second bedroom are very lumpy. Apartment gets a lot of street noise. It’s a lovely apartment but needs some fixing up. If none of that bothers you it’s a great place!

Amazing location!

Location is the best part. Centrally situated with lots of restaurants and coffee shop. 10min walk to FamĂ­lia and close to subway stations. Great communications.

Very nice appartement half way between Sagrada Familia and the Gaudi buildings

Great location!!

The location was excellent. Not very big but just enough space for 4 adults. Clean and felt safe. It’s dated however has charm. Loved the mosaic tiled floors. Visited in mid June with temperatures of 30 and very humid. First night no air conditioning. Called the host and was fixed the next day. Very prompt, attentive and professional service experience by all. Was able to drop off luggage early in the day so we could tour the beautiful city. Would recommend for future visits.

Spacious and comfortable apartment

The rooms are larger than expected. Bathroom is adequate. Kitchen is great. Individual heat is nice. Very convenient and nice neighborhood. Nice roof terrace. Recommend the apartment!!

A nice place to stay

The furnishings are simple but quite adequate. Although on the fourth floor, there is some traffic noise. The lighting isn't sufficient for reading at night. But overall, I would recommend it. Convenient to La Sagrada Familia and to the metro system.

Not upto other VRBO that I have stayed at

No essentials. So I got spoiled by top notch Hosts. There has always been coffee, creamer, basics. Some even had wine , cheese. Not this place. There was plenty of room which is nice. I think the black mold in the shower and no cleaning products was a huge NObig NO for me.big disturbing.

Great apartment

This was a great apartment for our family (Mum, Dad, two daughters 17 & 20). It's five mintes walk to La Sagrada Famillia and perhaps 10-15 minutes walk to lots of shopping and restaurants in the main commercial area. Las Ramblas is around 20-25 minutes walk away. The apartment itself was clean, well-appointed and roomy, with a nice light-filled nook where you could either relax and read or watch the passing parade from the fourth floor. The second bedroom has two double beds; perhaps these could be replaced by two single beds and then a couch could be added which might make the room slightly more functional. But I'm nit-picking here - Barcelona is a great city and I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone.

The apartment is in a beautiful old building in a lovely area with excellent amenities and very close to bus stops and metro stations. It was spotless on arrival and instructions were easy to follow. The living rooms and bedrooms are really good size with lots of wardrobe space and plenty of hangers. Bathroom and kitchen are tiny but fully equipped with everything you might need. The apartment has all the original wooden windows and shutters and although these look gorgeous and really keep the light out, they do nothing to reduce noise from outside. The apartment is on a VERY busy junction and the traffic would wake us up through the night or very early in the morning. Unfortunately we also had some idiots shouting all over the street for 2 nights of are stay (8 night stay) which kept us awake too. I would definitely recommend taking earplugs! The rooftop terrace is great but shuts at 8 or 9pm which is a shame as it would have been nice to sit up there and have a drink at sunset. Should maybe stay open later in the summer. The area and proximity to all the sights is the best thing about the apartment and I’d probably book again for this reason (but take earplugs this time!). Beds comfy, pillow’s awful! Unbelievable city! Can’t wait to return.

TrÚs bel emplacement, et bel immeuble. L' appartement est propre et conforme à l'annonce. Bonne communication avec le propriétaire et son employée. Je recommanderais volontiers cet appartement.
