Mansion Park is a historical neighborhood built in the 1920s with tree lined streets. It is located behind Bidwell Mansion and next to Chico State. It is a quiet family neighborhood with Chico Creek one block away.

No need for a car! The location is within walking distance of Chico State and downtown. Bidwell Park is 1 mile away with miles of walking/running trails and swimming holes.

Chico State: head towards downtown and head right before the bridge, follow along the creek. cross Warner street to wander around the sports fields. or turn left on Warner and walk to the main entrance of campus, walk through campus.


One Mile: walk past Bidwell Mansion towards Morning Thunder restaurant. cross 2nd street and go over the bridge and turn left. this will take you under a tunnel and bring you up in the park. Keep going straight until you see a large field on the left. Go left to One Mile. One Mile is a dammed up portion of the creek where people swim or just hang out on the grass.
