Hawthorn House Remodeled 3BR Walk to Town!

This newly remodeled home (Summer 2022) is centrally located in the center of town and within a couple blocks to restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, library, and public beaches.
Our spacious home has been comfortably decorated with a coastal flair. We have 3 bedrooms (two queen size, and two twin size.)
Enjoy our outdoor living spaces with a large deck, comfortable seating, large patio with outdoor dining, and relaxing hammocks underneath a large shaded oak tree.
The space
No pets or smoking on the property.

Quaint Place for Spring Break

A Really Quaint Place to bring the family for Spring Break. Just the right size. Kids loved it and Wife loved how everything was within walking distance. Will return for sure!

Wonderful Getaway!

This property is perfect in every way!! Spacious, airy, beautifully decorated, short walk to many shops, eateries and beach. Dan is a gem! Great communication and attention to detail.

Another great stay at Hawthorn House

This was our second time booking the Hawthorn House and we once again thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was incredibly hot during our stay, and the AC was amazing at this property - keeping the whole house, including all bedrooms, very comfortable. Great space, great location, and great host communication. 5 stars!

Perfect Stay, Awesome Location, Beautiful home.

My stay was bitter sweet as I rented the home to be close to family after loosing my mother to breast cancer. The home was perfect. Not only was the home completely upgraded but the attention to detail in the decor and amenities made us excited to live there for the week. The location allowed us to walk to the beach and restaurants. We were sad to leave and hope to return this summer

A beautiful gem in Colonial Beach!

This house was newly renovated and everything was immaculate. The bedrooms were good sized along with the bathrooms and the other rooms. The backyard was spacious with a fantastic deck, outdoor furniture/table, hammocks, and gas grill. Thanks to the central location of the house everything in Colonial Beach was within walking distance. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Colonial Beach. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality Dan!

Perfect Getaway in Colonial Beach

This house has been beautifully restored and was the perfect getaway for 2 couples & 2 kids under 5. The rooms are spacious, the front porch & back deck are great outdoor spaces, and the kids loved running around the backyard and hanging in the hammocks. The linens were soft & clean & plentiful, and we had everything we needed in the kitchen & for using the grill. Also, the host was very responsive & accommodating. We literally couldn’t ask for more in a vacation rental house. Thank you for sharing this property with us!

Fantastic location with the most inviting front porch. The house is recently updated and nicely decorated . Comfortable seating, nice table for meals, cards or puzzles. Hammocks in backyard that beg to be used to nap. The amenities were excellent. We had everything we needed and more. The hosts were friendly and available and respond to messages quickly. We could walk to almost every place. The car was moved only one time the entire week. Friendly, well kept neighborhood and plenty to do and see. Would definitely choose this house again

The house was absolutely charming. Every room was spacious, comfortable, and decorated beautifully. The kitchen had everything that we needed to prepare meals as well as an outdoor grill. The dining room was large and offered plenty of space for our family to enjoy meals. The living room had an abundance of seating for movie nights. The bedrooms offered more than enough space and storage and the beds were comfortable. We also appreciated that comfortable linens were provided. We loved the proximity to downtown Colonial Beach. Within walking distance were shops, restaurants, the boardwalk, and the beach. We even visited the library around the corner. Dan was quick to respond to any questions that we had. Colonial Beach was a lovely place to visit, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hawthorn House.
