This was our "sisters weekend" and we had a fabulous time at this beautiful home. The cottage is beautifully decorated, ample space for all 5 of us, we even had our own popcorn maker!! Very easy check-in, close to everything we wanted to do in DC. This is our second time here and we plan to come back next year! Can't go wrong with this beautiful gem!

Great home for two families to stay

Perfect home for two families to stay in. The home had everything we could possibly need with special touches to make it feel extra comfortable. The hosts were wonderful!

We enjoyed our stay here in Alexandria at this cottage. Very comfortable and perfectly decorated. I love all the well thought out touches for guests such as extra toiletries and linens and games and activities for the little kids. My grand daughter thought it was a cool place. The air system was a little tricky to figure out but thankfully the weather was not too hot or cold during our stay. The location turned out to be the best possible for us as my daughter’s house was less than 2 miles away. Host was super easy to communicate with which I appreciated. Definitely keeping this one on our favorites list.

Nice Stay

We really enjoyed our weekend. The property is convenient to the sights of DC and the restaurants and shops in Alexandria. The host was very nice and helped us out when we had trouble with the lock.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming, cozy cottage. The home has been beautifully updated, just as shown in the pictures. The beds were very comfortable, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the stay. There was plenty of parking available in front of the home, and it was an easy 20-minute drive to Washington, DC, and just 10 minutes from Old Town Alexandria. The hosts were fantastic—very responsive and always available to assist with any requests. Highly recommended for anyone staying near the nation’s capital!

Simply a great experience

The Host kept us up on all aspects of the process. They even went as far as to have a crib ready for our grandson as well as leaving a box of great cookies for us. But the icing on the cake was that our stay was over Easter, they even provided an egg coloring kit for us. I would recommend this house to anyone with 5 stars

Just lovely

We really enjoyed staying at this home, especially after staying in the city in Philly. The space, the parking, the quiet - it was blissful! The home was comfortable, clean, and beautiful. My girls especially loved staying in the charming green room. The kitchen was well-stocked and met all our needs. The beds were comfortable. There were fun, unexpected things like a box of cookies and a welcome note, plus games and books. A laundromat is very close by. We rode the metro to DC, drove our rental car to Mt Vernon, and enjoyed Old Town Alexandria. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!
