Purple Juniper: Downtown, 4 Blocks to Main, Delightful with Sunny Front Deck

Le Purple Juniper est un quatre demi-duplex mis à jour et invitant à Main Ave. La maison fait face à une rue de quartier calme et ensoleillée. Il a un plan d'étage ouvert avec une salle de bain et une cuisine mises à jour. La salle de bain est entièrement carrelée. La cuisine a des comptoirs en granit et est équipée de tout le nécessaire pour préparer un repas à plusieurs plats ou un simple smoothie.

La cuisine et le salon sont reliés par un îlot en granit à trois places. Des sièges supplémentaires à manger en été sont une table à quatre places sur le pont avant. Les chambres ont un lit queen dans une chambre et deux lits jumeaux dans la deuxième chambre. Tous les lits sont solides, moelleux et confortables. Le refroidissement par évaporation en été prévoit en outre des nuits reposantes.

L'accès et l'activité principaux de l'unité duplex adjacente se trouvent à l'arrière de la maison, la location de vacances ayant une utilisation dédiée du pont avant et du gril.

À votre arrivée, vous aurez une combinaison pour entrer dans la maison. Je suis facilement disponible pour vous aider autant que nécessaire ou vous laisser dans l'intimité selon vos préférences. Vous pouvez vous installer en prenant une boisson fraîche sur le pont avant ou en marchant quelques pâtés de maisons jusqu'à l'avenue principale pour vous détendre dans l'un des cafés ou des brasseries.

En plus du centre-ville et de l'avenue Main, des sentiers de randonnée et de vélo sont également à quelques pâtés de maisons de la maison.

Purple Sage was a lovely get away! The duplex is nicely appointed with thoughtful amenities for travelers (robes, towels, kitchen basics). Walking to downtown was a daily ritual. Perfect location.

Absolutely wonderful home! It’s easily walkable to nearly everything in Durango. The house was SUPER clean and nice, and perfect size for anywhere from 1 to 4 people. Victoria, the host, was wonderful to work with and was extremely responsive. What a great place! I come to Durango regularly, and will definitely be staying here again if I can.

We absolutely loved this charming duplex in the heart of town. Everything felt within easy reach - morning coffee, great restaurants, shops, entertainment, and even scenic trails just a short walk away. The location made it easy to enjoy Durango, with the resort only about 20–25 minutes away. The property manager was incredibly responsive and attentive, making sure our stay was seamless. We would happily stay here again. Thank you!

Served in Cameroun, West Africa with the Peace Corps a few decades ago. Returned to wait tables, drive buses and ultimately earned a degree in civil engineering. I moved to Durango in 2005 and worked as Professional Engineer for the county, having the opportunity to learn a lot about the area and work with great people. I chased Buddhism for a long while, having great adventures in the US and abroad, and ultimately found truth in the salvation offered by Jesus Christ. I have the opportunity to share the gospel with those in jails and recovery centers, and continually learn from the women I get to meet. Otherwise, I am learning to garden and enjoying for the first time a flock of chickens, who are so much fun! I love reading and learning and walking pretty much anywhere, even including all around cities on the rare occasions I find myself there.

I love that this duplex is right downtown where guests can park and walk everywhere. While many may drive out for adventures during the day, they can park at night and walk to Main Ave. Others choose to just leave the car completely and walk everywhere - such a great way to decompress and so relaxing. I love that while the home is so central, it also has a quiet, peaceful feel.

Sitting out on the front deck in the Summer with the trees all around feels both connected and secluded. I like that people can come and find all the essentials in a clean, fresh home and completely relax into their time away.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Ideal location. Five-minute walk to the heart of downtown restaurants, shops and historic train. Wonderful front patio overlooking a pedestrian-friendly street. In addition to downtown, the Nature Trail and Sky Steps up to Fort Lewis College are just a few blocks away. The Purple Juniper is an easy launch spot for everything in town and a peaceful place to which to return and relax.
